He was supposed to wait there. His arrows sprawled out amongst the grass. Where'd Jose go? There were prints in the mud a tad bit away suggesting he was attacked but by what? Or who?

When we came in Castor was staring blankly at nothing, it was kind of concerning. He was shaking and crying too, though that's not completely unlike him.
"Castor?" Sly asked, carefully.
"We was right- what- how!" Castor cried hugging himself.

"Hey, Castor, it's okay," Sly assured him.
"We have to go get him!" Castor insisted.
"What! No, we can't. He can fend for himself," Steven immediately spat.

"Wha- Steven!" Castor immediately retorted shocked.
"We don't even know where he is! We need to hurry this up, find out where he is, get the kids out of here, and then get him," Steven spat.
"But-" Castor quickly scrambled.

"Sorry to say, but Steven's right Castor. We can't go running into a battle like that with almost 200 kids on our tails," I murmured.
Then we split up with Castor protesting about finding Jose. Don't get us wrong, we really want to find Jose, but we can't. Not now at least. Katz, his team, my team, and I all went one direction while the others when different directions.

"Katz?" I asked.
"Yeah?" He asked not even bothered by the fact that I said his real name.
"I'm going to fly up to see what view I can get I'll be right back," I told him.
He nodded and I bit my lip. I took Mjolnir off of the hook I had it dangling off of. I tightened my grip around it and jumped.

Instantly I was off the ground, I looked up and flew. Once at a reasonable distance up, about right above the high trees, I looked around. There was nothing. No spiders in the trees, no Hydras, no Nakas, no mazes.

Just lines of trees. There wasn't even a dense forest! We must not be close to the edge of the clearing if there isn't a forest, I decided. But you can always see the forest. Almost always that is. I began to float down to the ground. On my way down I paused and read the message Katz sent.

Omegadark14:I'm sending anyone that can fly up to you. Anyone who can't is climbing.
Omegadark14: hide Jess
Aphmau: why? Is someone down there?
Omegadark14:yeah. He's really tall and red. My guess is he's a monster.
Remix10tails:Dont pay attention to him! At least pretend you didn't see him!
Steven:you OK Jose?
Remix10tails:for now. I've got two arrows and my bow and I'm surrounded. I'll try and find a way out or find where I am.
xXSlyFoxXx:couldn't we just use our one TP to get you?
BurnAlex:no we should use that to get out instead.
Aphmau:can't he use his TP to get out?
Remix10tails:I can try.
Remix10tails:who's safe?

Remix10tails:no, it says the "the command you are trying to use is currently unavailable or doesn't exist" thingy
Aphmau: then how are we supposed to use it if it doesn't work?
BurnAlex:we'll have to make a plan. How much longer can you hold up?
Remix10tails: possibly a solid 30 minutes at best. If they run experiments on me I'm blaming you guys

I slipped into the leaves meeting up with a whole group of scared girls and boys. Some had climbed this high up, others had flown.

Below me, more of our groups huddled together but far below on the ground, two boys stood. Katz and one of his members.

Katz took the boy's hand and led him through some brush. Behind them, the 'tall red guy' lingered after them. It was following them. The kid kneeled down to a flower and pointed to it. I wish I could hear what they were saying.

"Hello?" A voice interrupted my thoughts as I heard a boy's voice.
"Did I do this right?" It asked.
"Yeah, I'm in," Katz said.
"Uh, who is this?" I thought.
"I'm Aaron Jones. I have telepathy," he told me.
"So, what, Martian Manhunter?" I asked.
"Yeah, him," Katz confirmed.
"You're name's Katz?" The boy, Aaron, asked.
"Oh great. Yeah, it is," Katz huffed.
"Detective much," I laughed.
"I have mind-reading abilities too. Along with flight and the ability to go invisible," he said.
"Not to mention the fact that you can morph into whatever you wish," I added.
"Yes but I haven't perfected that yet," Aaron admitted.
"Not like there's anyone who can teach him the ropes too much on that one," Katz said.
"Shame, "I sighed.
"Too true. Can you see us?" Katz asked.

I looked down, below me stood a red creature staring directly up. I disregarded him and found Katz and Aaron.
"Yeah I see you two," I say.
I say nothing about the monster.
"Good do you see anything else besides it?" Katz asked.
I looked around in search for anything other than the red creature staring up at me.
"A fairy or two but nothing harmful," I say.
"Good, last thing we need is something else harmful with us," Katz sighed.

Aphmau:what?
Remix10tails:I've got 20 minutes before they start coming in. I overheard it
Aphmau:this is scary. It's staring directly up at me like it knows I'm here.
Omegadark14:Jess, don't pay attention to it. Pay attention to me and Aaron.
Aphmau:but what if I can't?
Omegadark14:you have to Jess. It'll protect me and Aaron.
I took in a deep breath and nodded following up with, "kay, I've got this!"
I turned to the kids I'm with.

"Stay here," I tell them, "don't move unless told to by Red Hood or the boy down on the ground named Aaron if you're not sure if they're the real ones ask them who they are. They should answer with Aaron Jones son of Martian Manhunter and KaddiKatz Omegadark14 son of Red Hood. If they don't, don't trust 'em."
I took out Mjolnir, held it tight, and took off. I flew away a while and let lightning strike me. Jolts of electricity erupted inside of my body leaving me numb. Jolts of electricity burst from me at high speeds making me a living disco ball. Rawrs erupted through the Twilight.

Aphmau: might want to get to high ground.

All at once a ton of monsters ran towards the lights. Swarms of them erupting from the corners they were hiding in. A small swarm of red tall creatures packed together around one of my electric jolts. More and more swarmed the small jolts that I emitted. 1,000 meters away or so in front of me flew Alex, Steven, and Sly.
The others stood in trees.
"Guys!" I yelled.
They all looked at my glowing body emitting electric pulses.
"I found the creatures! Over there!" I yelled pointed at the group of red tall creatures.
The boys followed my finger the group and nodded.
"Do you have PBat with you?" I called.
"Yeah!" Steven answered.
"I need him!" I yelled back.
"Ok, I'll fly him over!" Steven called.

Katz, PBat, and I sat in the tree surrounded by Katz's and my team. PBat fidgeted with an electronic device I asked him to help me with. Katz stared at Aaron as they spoke in my head.

"Is that really what you want Mr.Red Hood?" Aaron asked at one point when I tuned back in.
"Yes Aaron, it is. Please, will you do it?" Katz asked.
"Do what?" I asked.
"Gah! Cut her for the moment," Katz ordered.

And so I was cut.
"Rude much," I hissed and went back to watching PBat.
"Who's rude?" PBAT asked glancing up at me.
"Nah, don't worry about it," I shrugged.
"I suppose you mean Katz?" He asked.
"Nevermind PBat, don't worry about it," I said growing a bit agitated.
"You two should really talk to others," PBat said continuing to work on the electronic.

He looked up at Katz and grinned cheekily.
"Ya know, you never did tell us what happened last night with you and Steven, Kitty," he chided.
"Unimportant. You're being unprofessional," Katz said.
"Ha! Sure," PBat hummed.

"Don't try and make it into something it's not! We didn't do anything of that nature last night!" Katz snapped.
"Geez fine. I'm just trying to lighten the mood," PBat huffed defensively.
Katz blushed and looked away with PBat going back to his work.
"Hey, blushy kitty, whatcha been' doing lately," I hummed.
Katz seemed to get redder as he spat defensively, "oh don't you start too!"
Suddenly my head started pounding and my tummy started aching.
"Oo!" I winced grabbing my stomach.

Aphmau:it feels like I just got punched in the gut
xXSlyFoxXx:what? Are you ok?
Aphmau:feeling dizzy. Not up to speed

I leaned against PBat as they read my last type. PBat stopped working and held me.
"Aph?" He asked.
My vision started to go blurry. Suddenly PBat had 3 heads.

"When did you grow two more heads?" I asked clearly slurred even for me.
I sounded drunk like when I drink Sake. But this is different. Everything moved in a swaying motion, unnaturally. I heard muffled sounds and felt a hand on my forehead.
"Something something- Burning up!" Is all I got from PBat at he ushered people to do something.

"It's ok, I'll be fine," I said more slurred.
"Remember," I said, Katz finished it with me, "there's always a silver lining."
And then I couldn't see anymore. I was in a dark place with small voices of people frantically trying to wake me up. Night night.
