Mario Luigi Peach and Daisy were currently under water swimming after bowser Jr's submarine

Mario: plumbers log number 48 Junior is planning on conquering the under water world and we have to stop him before that happens!

Daisy: hey remember when Roy had a similar plan?

Peach: I guess the koopalings just can't think of anything original

Suddenly koopas started growing wrenches at them

Luigi: Whoa!

Mario: What do you say we throw a wrench or two in Juniors works?

Mario and Luigi each caught a wrench

Luigi: Hey junior! We're taking you down!

They both throw the wrenches at the doomsub's propellors causing it to break

Daisy: Nice shot!

But then Doomsub started shoot lasers uncontrollably

Mario: that's not good

Luigi: Uh oh... Take cover!

Mario hid behind a question mark block but saw peach was sill out in the open

Mario: Look out peach!

He pushed her out of the way and was hit with a laser casing him to be trapped in a block of cement

Peach: Mario!

Mario: I'm ok! Just feeling a little weighed down!

Daisy: Hey what's a cement suit to someone who swims better than most fish?

Mario started sinking to the bottom of the ocean

Mario: I can't swim! Help!

Luigi peach and Daisy swam after him

Peach: we're coming Mario!

Just then a mermaid with a fish body and human legs came out of a warp pipe

???: I can help!

She grabbed Mario and swims back to the pipe and the others followed her

???: come on! Follow me!

The five of them arrived in an underwater kingdom filled with air. ??? put on a fish bowl filled with water on her head

???: Oh that's better! I'm not like you frogs I can't breathe the air! The only problem is now everything looks so fuzzy!

Daisy: thanks for the help but who are you?

Holly: The name's Holly Mackerel! I'm the mermaid princess of Mertropolis!

Peach saw Mario was unconscious

Peach: Mario? Mario speak to me!

Daisy: stand back guys! I got this!

Daisy held her baseball bat and used it to break the cement

Peach: hurry we've got to get the water out of his lungs!

Peach gave Mario mouth to mouth and he woke up coughing

Mario: Someone turn off the water! What a nightmare! I dreamed I was drowning! It was horrible! I was saved by the most hideous disgusting creature but then I was woken up by a beautiful princess

Peach: Aww!

Holly: You're safe now my dreamboat!

Mario noticed Holly and Daisy tried not to laugh

Mario: No! Somebody wake me up quick! Holy mackerel!

Holly hugged him

Holly: That's Holly Mackerel! And my royal fortune teller told me a handsome prince would be hopping into my life! And here you are!

Mario backed away from her

Mario: Ma'am lady... fish uh whatever you are you're great for saving me but I'm no prince! And I'm already engaged to someone else!

Holly: who swept you off your feet before I could?

Peach: that would be me

Mario: so I'm sorry I'm sure you're a swell fish but me and peach love each other

Holly: But froggy-

Mario: I'm not a frog! I don't even wear green! And No buts we have to go!

Daisy: we're in a bit of a hurry anyway!

The four of them ran back to the warp pipe but then Mario stopped

Mario: No! No!

Luigi: Mario hey what's the matter? That's the way home!

Mario: I-I-I can't go back out there into the water I-I'm afraid! A-And I don't even know why!

Luigi: oh that's called PTSD. Stands for post traumatic stress disorder. I should know since I've had a lot of them

Peach: but why is this happening to you now Mario?

Daisy: yeah you would think you've felt this way a long time ago!

Mario: I-I'm not sure!

Daisy: If you stay here that mermaid will never stop chasing you! She wants to marry you!

Luigi: your already getting married

Mario: then I'll just hide somewhere instead!

Peach: Mario this isn't like you at all!

At that moment the doomsup showed up right above the city

Junior: King Mackerel! People of Mertropolis! You have 20 minutes to surrender or I will destroy your city!

Luigi: And now he's gonna fix us!

Daisy: We've gotta stop that crazy koopaling!

Then King Mackerel runs up to Mario Luigi peach and Daisy

King Mackerel: Sizzling sea serpents Princess peach! Oh am I glad to see you Daisy and the Mario Brothers! You've got to save us!

Mario: I-I'd really like to help you King Mackerel! But-

King Mackerel: What's the matter? You're not afraid of Bowser Jr are you?

Mario: Of course I'm not afraid of him! I'm afraid of the water! But I don't even know why! And that's the scary part!

Peach: Don't worry King Mackerel! We'll save Mertropolis somehow!

King Mackerel: You do that and your every fish wish is my command!

Daisy walked closer to Luigi

Daisy: what does that even mean?

Luigi just shrugged

Peach: Come on Mario! Time to get your sea legs back! We'll all be right here with you! You can do it!

Mario: A-Alright I'm coming in... One for the money... Two for the show... Three to get ready... A-And no way I can go! I'm just too chicken to be a frog! Why I am so scared of water now?! I've never had this fear before! What if I can't control it and-?!

Suddenly Daisy smacked Mario across the face

Mario: Ow! What was that for?!

Daisy: to pull yourself together! You are our leader Mario! So act like it!

Peach: You can't let your fears stop you!

Luigi: I've learned that lesson so many times I've lost count!

Mario: you know what? Your right! I don't know what came over me but I'm back!

Daisy: that's what I'm talking about-!

Suddenly koopas arrived in Mertropolis and started throwing boomerangs

Luigi: Koopas!

Peach: Bowser Jr is invading Mertropolis!

Luigi held onto a boomerang as it came back and kicked a koopa in the chest

Daisy: Whoa!

Luigi: quite I feat right Daisy?

Daisy: definitely! I'll have to learn that move!

Peach: But we've got more Koopas to Koop up!

More koopas came out of the warp pipe

Daisy: while we're here I might as well play a game of leapfrog!

She stomped on multiple koopas in a row

Daisy: Haha! Is that all you got Junior?!

Suddenly they all heard bowser Jr on the speaker

Junior (on the speaker): You may have stomped my koopas but you can't stop me! That was just the first wave of my attack!

Mario: W-Wave? Did he say wave? Where?! Oh I thought I pulled myself together-!

Peach hugged Mario before he got even more worried

Peach: take a deep breath Mario...  Don't worry if you want you can stay here and we'll stop the doomsub. How does that sound?

Mario: I can't stay here just because I'm afraid of water!

Luigi: having a panic attack in the middle of a battle won't help either

Mario: ...good point. Good luck guys

Peach kissed Mario on the cheek then left with Daisy and Luigi

Mario: Oh sure don't worry I'll just stay here with my new fear of water just like sonic the hedgehog

Then King mackerel walked up to Mario again

King Mackerel: Mario! Did you hear that? Bowser jr is preparing to attack!

Mario: Don't worry King Mackerel! My brother peach and Daisy will take care of him!

All of a sudden Holly ran up to Mario and hugged him

Holly: Mario! Oh I knew it! You cared so much for me you couldn't leave! Oh have you been working out? Your frog belly looks solid as steel!

Mario: I told you I'm already in a relationship with someone else!

Holly: I don't see anywhere! Daddy this is the frog prince I told you about! Prepare the royal wedding!

Mario: p-prepare the what?!

Meanwhile Lemmy and Iggy could see Luigi peach and Daisy getting closer to the doomsub

Lemmy: It's that meddlesome-

Iggy: Luigi the princess and Daisy!

Lemmy: Oh come on! I hate it when you do that!

Junior: stopped arguing! Those lunkheads will never learn! Fire the nasty nets!

Nets are shot out of the doomsub and towards Luigi peach and Daisy

Daisy: watch out!

The three of them swim away from the nets but were eventually caught

Peach: Oh no!

Luigi: Mario! Help!

Daisy: let's just hope he can face his new fear!

Bowser Jr saw all this happen from his doomsub

Junior: Haha! I finally caught them! Even Daisy!

Lemmy: but you don't have-

Iggy: Super Mario!

Lemmy: really?!

Junior: for once you make a good point... I wondered where that meathead Mario was!

Back with Mario and Holly they were getting married

Holly: Oh Mario! I'm gonna invite all of Mertropolis to our wedding!

Mario: Now that's something to be scared of!

Holly: Can't you just see it? We'll make such a lovely couple!

Mario: but we're not a couple!

Suddenly they both heard bowser Jr on the speaker

Junior (on the speaker): Now here this Mario! You have my congratulations on getting married and leaving peach! And to show you what a nice guy I am I'm gonna throw you a wedding shower!

Bowser Jr threw a Bob-omb on the glass dome which exploded breaking it open and water started to pour in the city

Mario: I can't just hide under the table! I have do something! Junior has my brother, friend and fiancé! Scared or not I have to do something!

He held his plunger

Mario: Brave men die a single death! Cowards marry fishhead mermaids!

Mario grabbed a sewer lid swam up to water and used it to clog to hole

Peach: Mario! The Drill power up!

Mario: good idea!

Mario broke a block, found a drill mushroom and powered up

Junior: one power up can't stop me!

Mario: not you! The doomsub!

Mario free Luigi peach and Daisy then drilled a hole in the submarine causing it to fill with water

Junior: AHH! I'll get you for this!

Bowser Jr left and went back to the surface

Mario Luigi Peach and Daisy went back to Mertropolis then King Mackerel gave Mario a medal

King Mackerel: I bestow you the medal of Mertropolis for your bravery!

Holly: Mario my love! Time to put on your wedding day fish bowl!

Holly put the fish bowl on Mario's head but the reflection made him look ugly

Holly: AHH!! I can't marry him Daddy! H-He's the ugliest looking frog I've ever seen!

Mario takes off the fish bowl

Mario: I told you all along we were wrong for each other!

He ran back to Luigi peach and Daisy

Mario: Phew for a while there I thought I was sunk! Come on let's get out of here before Holly gets over her fear!

Peach: does this mean you're not after of water anymore?

Mario: no way! I face my fear just like I do every day! But now I have an even bigger appreciation for my bro!

Luigi: Aww Mario!

Mario and Luigi both hugged

Daisy: that's so sweet!
