Meanwhile in the desert Mario and Luigi were disguised as cowboys and Daisy was disguised as a cowgirl. Daisy found another wanted poster and read it out loud

Daisy: 'wanted dead or alive. Mario Luigi and Princess Daisy reward 30,000 gold coins' what?!

She ripped the paper into pieces then the three of them saw smoke coming out of a cave that spelled out 'help me'

Mario: that must be peach! Let's go!

Mario Luigi and Daisy ran up to the cave

Mario: peach must be inside

Mauser ran up to them

Mauser: hold it right there! Reach for the sky you criminals!

The three of them put there hands up

Daisy: again we're not criminals!

Shy guy: hey where's my money?!

Mauser: you'll get the reward later! you think I carry that much cash?!

Mario: I think it's time to head for the hills

Mario Luigi and Daisy ran away while Mauser was distracted

The three of them made it to the town. They saw a free power up store and went inside but it was actually the prison

Bowser: your not going anywhere!

He threw Mario Luigi and Daisy in a cell

Bowser: Princess Peach can forget about you three rescuing her! I've got her friends all locked up!

Bowser locked the cell door and walked away

Luigi: looks like it's 20 years of bread and water...

Daisy: don't give up Luigi! I've got an old trick up my sleeve

She took out a Bobby pin picked the lock and opened the door

Mauser: hey! What do you think your doing-!

Daisy stomped on Mauser knocking him out

Daisy: finally he never stopped talking

Daisy: thanks now lets get out of here!

The three of them ran out of town and into cave but Mauser and koopas were chasing after them

Mario: this is where peach is being held prisoner

Luigi: I just hope we can find her before bowser finds us!

There was a big brick wall inside the cave

Mario: bowser must have built this

Daisy took out a Bob-omb

Luigi: where did you get that?!

Daisy: I grabbed it while we were getting out of prison. I figured we might need it

Diasy lit the fuse of the bomb and Luigi and Mario stood back

Daisy: there now we just have to stand back and-

The bomb exploded sooner then expected. It destroyed the brick wall but Mario and Luigi saw Daisy unconscious and ran up to her

Luigi: DAISY!

Luigi was panicking on what to do

Luigi: what do we what do we do what do we do?!

Mario: give her mouth to mouth quick!

Luigi did mouth to mouth which worked

Daisy: *cough* *cough* what happened?

Mario: you were to close to the explosion but Luigi saved your life!

Luigi hugged Daisy

Luigi: I'm so glad your ok!

Daisy hugged back and was about to say thank you but Bowser and his army walked up to them

Bowser: sorry to ruin this touching moment but now it's time to surrender!

Daisy: that's never-!

Luigi: we'll never surrender to you!

Luigi stomped on bowser head making him unconscious but Luigi landed on face

Luigi: Ow...

Daisy helped him up

Daisy: that was really brave of you

Mario: come on we have to find Peach!

The three of them ran deeper in the cave but fell in the same hole peach was being kept in

Peach: is everyone alright?

Mario: we're fine. I knew we should've looked here first

Bowser looked down in the hole

Bowser: how nice of you to drop in! How are you going to get out now?! Now I got you right where I want you!

Daisy: why don't you come down here and say that to my face so I can beat you up?!

Mario heard water from one of the pipes

Mario: I hear water! Luigi time to start plumbing

Mario and luigi Made one of the pipes spray out water and it pushed everyone out of the cave

Peach: we're free!

Daisy looked at Luigi

Daisy: thank you for saving my life Luigi

She kissed him on the cheek and he blushed but didn't faint

Luigi: I-I would do anything to protect you

Daisy: and your my hero

Peach: Aww! Isn't that sweet Mario?

Mario: sure is!
