Luigi couldn't sleep. He was too worried about Mario to relax for even a second. Lightning looked up to see him awake. "Luigi, is everything alright?" She asked with a yawn.

"Oh, yeah... I'm just worried about him. That's all..." Luigi answered.

"He'll be fine. You should get some rest or you'll be exhausted tomorrow. We'll see how Mario is in the morning." Lightning replied.

Luigi sighed. "I guess you're right."

"Goodnight Luigi..." Lightning yawned.

"Night." He replied to her. After a few minutes they both drifted off to sleep.

The next morning, Luigi, Lightning and the three Starters woke up. Luigi sat beside Mario and Lightning did the same. "Hey bro... Please wake up..." Luigi softly nudged his brother.

Mario stirred and opened one eye. He looked up to see Luigi. He opened both eyes and sat up. "Good morning Luigi." Mario said, giving him a small smile.

Luigi smiled back and then frowned. "Are you doing okay Mario?"

"I'm fine now." Mario answered. "But are you? I was so worried Paarthurnax would do something to you."

"I'm doing just fine. Thanks to you."

"Mario, are you ready to go?" Lightning asked.

"Yup. I'm always ready to continue an adventure." Mario answered with a chuckle.

"That's our Mario. Always ready for adventures." Luigi smiled.

Suddenly they heard some distance meowing deeper in the cave.

"What is that?" Mario and Luigi asked.

As if to answer their question. Many small cat-like eyes started staring at them. "Who are you and what are you doing in our cave?"

"You're cave? We're sorry to have intruded but we didn't know this cave was already occupied." Lightning told the unidentified owner of the voice in the darkness.

"Well since you've barged in while we were asleep and slept in here last night, you must pay. No one allows someone to sleep in their home without getting Pokecoins for it." A Kantonian Meowth stepped into the light.

"How much do you want?" Lightning asked.

"Hm... 1,000 Pokecoins." The Meowth answered with a mew.

"Fine..." Lightning threw him a bag of the coins he wanted and he caught it in his mouth. He purred with simple pleasure. His gold oval coin atop his head glowed in the sunlight.

"It's a pleasure doing business with ya, Chumps. My name is Denarius and you are?"

"I'm Lightning and this is Mario, Luigi, Jake, Churro and Max."

"Ah... If I may ask... Are you by any chance a part of the Starter Squad?" Denarius asked.

"Yes." Lightning answered.

"What are a bunch of Starter Squad members doing here? We didn't cause any mischief or anything that's for sure. Well I better run. You best be going." He replied. He quickly ran away into the darkness.

Lightning cocked her head to the side. "That was strange... I think that Meowth is hiding something..."

Suddenly they began to hear loud hisses and yowls in the darkness. "I told you to leave!!! You have no business here!! This is our turf!!!"

"Um... Lightning... We better go..." Luigi told her.

"Alright let's go." They all left the cave before anything else would happen.
