Luigi groggily opened his eyes and groaned in pain.

Mario turned his attention to Luigi and helped him up. "Are you Alright, Bro?"

"I-I think so..." he muttered before he winced from a painful shock. "Ow..."

"You should take it easy for a bit Luigi" Alex told him.

"I guess you're right but we need to get out of here. W-we can't just stay here. Who knows what K-King Boo will do..."

"He's right. We also need to figure out what they did to you after taking that Thunderstone out of you by force." Gabe responded.

"And don't forget about Klefki." Lightning spoke up. "But we need to plan our own escape first."

The group nodded.

Thunder followed their scent to the old haunted mansion. "They must be in there..." he said to himself before running into the house. He slowly and cautiously walked around the creepy building. He stayed as quiet as he could to avoid being found. "I just have to find Lightning and her friends and get out of here..." he thought.

He continued following their scent until he stopped at the door he assumed they were in. "Their scent stops here... It must be it" he pushed the door open to see that he had been right. The group of friends were in a cage.

Lightning was the first to spot him. "Dad...?"

The Raichu gasped in surprise and ran over to the cage. "Lightning, thank Arceus you're safe. I need to get you out of here!"

"You have to hurry who knows when King Boo will come back!" Luigi responded.

Thunder snapped at him. "Can it Humon, you're the one who put my daughter in this mess anyways. If you never came into this world, my daughter would never be in danger like this. Once I get her out of here, you have some explaining to do about those ghosts. This is all your fault! She should never have met you!" He growled.

Luigi frowned and looked down at the floor. Thunder's words stung his heart.

Thunder sighed and tried to relax. He had to focus on getting them out of their situation. He used Iron Tail on the lock to break it. The pieces then fell to the ground. The group flinched at the loud clinging sound the pieces made when they hit the ground. Thunder slowly opened the door and the group of friends hurried out of the cage one by one.

"Now let's get out of here before we get caught." Thunder told them.

Wait! We have to find Klefki first. We can't leave her here." Mario replied.

Thunder rolled his eyes. "Fine... but make it quick. If my daughter gets hurt, I'm holding you humons responsible!"

They walked out of the dungeon room to look for their key friend.

They continued walking until they stumbled across the biggest area in the House. They assumed it was the living room. They saw Klefki floating in the air with a purple aura around her. King Boo was using his Psychic Power to keep her from going anywhere. Luigi didn't seem to notice King Boo was right by her side when he whispered to her, hoping to get her attention, "Klefki..."

King Boo overhears him calling out to her and turned to face him. "Oh, you want your little friend back? Well too bad. She's mine now."

"L-Le-Le-Let her go..." Luigi stuttered as he trembled in fear.

"I don't think so.. Now I would can it if I were you. Your scaredy-cat stuttering is starting to get on my nerves."

"Then we'll fight if we have to!" Mario was about to take the FireStone out to use it but King Boo sees it and manages to take it from him. He also spotted the WaterStone in his pocket and managed to take it too. "Hey!!! Give them back!!! They're not yours!!!"

"What is so important about these stupid stones anyways?!" He takes out Luigi's ThunderStone and uses Psychic to levitate in the air around him teasingly.

"Hey!! That's Luigi's Thunderstone. He has his stone too!! We need to defeat him in order to get them back, Mario!!!" Lightning said.

"Hah!!! Let's see about that!! Without these you're weak!!"

"You take that back! We're not weak!" Lightning growled.

"And what's a little pest going to do? Shock me with her electric powers?!"

Lightning gritted her teeth and used Thunderbolt.

King Boo avoided the attack and used Focus Blast.

Lightning countered it by using electro ball.

Mario used Shadow Ball at King Boo's side, managing to get a hit on him as he was distracted by Lightning. He growled and fired a Focus Blast at Mario.

Alex countered it with Aura Sphere.

Jake used Water gun, Max used Flamethrower, Churro used Leaf Tornado and Gabe used Magical Leaf as King Boo received more damage.

Every attack that hit King Boo angered him even more.

Without a warning, Luigi suddenly gasped and winced in pain as he received another electric shock. King Boo noticed and took it as an opportunity to grab Luigi with Psychic.
King Boo gets angry and grabs Luigi. "Nobody take another step! One more move and Luigi gets it! I've had enough of this!! I try to be reasonable! I try to make this easy! But you have crossed the line far too many times! Every clever plan I make, always fails! I will get all of you one way or another! All of your friends will be put in a painting rather you like it or not and there's nothing you can do about it! I will never give up until I finally win! No matter how long it takes!"

"No.... Luigi! Don't hurt him, please! Just put him down..." Mario replied.

Lightning growls in hatred. "No one... Hurts... My... Mate!!!!!" She jumps up in the air and uses Thunder, creating a large explosion. King Boo was hit hard with a strong electric shock. Luigi falls towards the ground but Lightning manages to catch him. "Lightning... That was amazing..."

"I never knew I could do that..."

King Boo shook it off and growled through gritted teeth. "That's it! This is the end for You Rodent! Good night!" He used Psychic on Lightning and threw her against the wall with great force that she collapsed and knocked out cold.

"Lightning!!!!!!"

Luigi gave King Boo a Death Stare and used a special move he never knew he could use. Buzzy Buzz.

Out of anger, Mario used Sizzly Slide.

From the new moves they used, they defeated King Boo. "We did it Bro!!!! We did it!!!" They cheered, jumping around. They stopped when they remembered Lightning. They rush over to her.

Lightning.... Lightning... Wake up..." Mario and Luigi said.

Luigi put his hat over his eyes and cried, Mario bowed his head down. Suddenly Lightning put a paw on Luigi's shoulder.

Luigi looks up and immediately tears brimmed down his face and he hugged her tightly.

"Luigi, It's okay... I'm fine... I'm fine." Lightning told him. She gasped when she remembered King Boo. She looked back to see him defeated.

She rushed over to put the Special ghost type chains around his hands. "You defeated him?! But how?"

The brothers shrugged as they picked up their stones. Luigi evolved into a Jolteon and Mario into a Flareon. "We learned these special new moves."

"New moves? I wished I saw them."

"We don't exactly know how we did it but we'll try to use them again later." Mario said.

"Hey Lightning. I think you've learned a new move too. I think you used the move Thunder." Luigi pointed out.

"Huh... Oh I didn't know what I did... It just happened. You were in trouble, I had to do something."

"You seem to be okay now Luigi. You haven't been acting strange anymore. You haven't received any more painful shocks have you?" Mario asked.

"No, I haven't. I guess your right..." Luigi giggled.

Klefki floated towards the group.

"Are you alright Klefki?" Luigi asked.

"I'm fine... Let's just get out of here and take care of King Boo immediately before he wakes up and tries to escape again." Klefki answered.

"Right!" Lightning nodded.

Speaking of which, I decided to update this on the 35th anniversary. I wished I could finish this and start atleast the first part of Super Faith but I don't think I will be able to. I still haven't finished Faith the Eevee Book 2 yet. But I may have to update Faith the Eevee soon. Maybe that'll be the next update.
