The group continue walking until they see a male Pachirisu looking at one of the wanted posters of them hung on a tree. His ears perk and his cheeks spark blue electricity; Lightning's spark in response. He turns around and sees them as Lightning gives him eye contact. His expression changed from curious to a more angry look.

"It's you!! You're all a bunch of criminals!! I got to get the Starter Squad!!" The blue squirrel Pokémon shouted.

"No! Wait! It's not what you think!!" Lightning attempted to inform him; however, he didn't hear her and he quickly ran up the tree to his hole home to call the Starter Squad. "Oh no! This isn't good... Guys we have to-" She was then interrupted by the sound of wings flapping.

She gulped; knowing who it was before she even turned around. It was exactly what she was afraid it was... Paarthurnax.

"RUN!!!" Luigi shouted, grabbing Lightning's paw. They all ran as fast as they could from Paarthurnax only to run into a large group of Starters who circled them.

They skidded to a halt; now surrounded. Even the Meowth pack soon came in to surround them as well.

Luigi trembled in fear. "W-What do we do? We can't fight them all..?"

"Of course we can't, there are way too many..." Gabe replied.

"Then what do we do?" Alex asked.

"We have to do something." Mario answered. "We can't just give up."

Jake, Churro and Max were already trying to keep their ground but the group only got closer to them.

Suddenly, a large figure leaped out of the trees and landed in front of them. Lightning saw a certain Raichu in front of them, who used Discharge; shocking the group of Starters and Meowth.

Lightning quickly knew who he was. "Dad?!"

"Go Lightning!! You and your friends need to go now!!" He ordered.

"But there are way too many for you to handle on your own" Lightning replied.

"Don't worry, I can handle it!! Now go and hurry!!!"

The group obeyed and made a run for it but they didn't catch a break that easily when they ran right into King Boo. They gasped in shock once they saw him.

"Ah... Now what do we have here!! What a surprise that we ran into each other like this" he said with a toothy grin.

He turned to see Luigi and he cackled. Luigi trembled in fear when King Boo floated towards him. Lightning used Iron Tail before he had a change to do anything, but it only made him angry.

"You little electric fool!!" King Boo growled. He used Focus Blast and knocked her back.

Mario and Luigi used Shadow Ball. Both attacks hit their target. It only made King Boo float towards them and use Psychic; throwing them against a tree before tightening his hold on them.

Alex used Ice Punch so he would let the brothers go. It worked but King Boo turned and used Focus Blast at Alex. He was hit by the Super Effective attack.

Lightning got back up to her paws and used Quick Attack to run towards King Boo and attack him with Thunderbolt before rushing towards the brothers to assist them.

"Are you guys okay?" She asked.

"We're fine..." They answered, shaking it off. They turned to watch King Boo, who was about to hit her back with Dark Pulse. However, the attack was countered by one of Gabe's Magical Leaf.

Max used FlameThrower, Churro used Leaf Storm and Jake used Water Gun. All the attacks hit King Boo.

"Good job guys!" Lightning told them, encouragingly.

Mario and Luigi slowly got back up and looked at each other with determination. They each took out their Signature Stones. Mario evolved into a Flareon and Luigi evolved into Jolteon.

"Let's a go!" They replied in unison.

Mario used FlameThrower and Luigi used Thunderbolt causing King Boo to collapse to the ground defeated.

"Yes! Now we finally got him!" Lightning smiled. She took out the Ghost type Pokecuffs and walked towards King Boo. Lightning was unaware that he opened his eyes. A mischievous smile was plastered on his face. It was a trick! King Boo knocked Lightning back into the brothers making them fall to the ground in a heap. He cackled with joy before he disappeared.

Luigi crawled out of the pile. "Wh-where did he go?" He asked, looking around in terror.

Lightning sighed. "I think he got away..." She answered as she helped Mario up. However, that wasn't the case... He reappeared from behind Luigi and knocked him over from his paws. He quickly got back up and turned to see King Boo.

"BOO!!" He yelled, scaring the group. He laughed at their terrified expressions. "Gotcha!! I wasn't gone, you fools! Now you're coming with me!"

A group of ghosts then appeared around them and picked them up. They struggled to get out of their grasp but to no avail.

"MARIO!!!" Luigi screamed before everything went black.

"Now get in there!!" A Gastly ordered as they were pushed into the cage by force and slamming it shut. Luigi collapsed to the floor making his Thunderstone fall out of his pocket.

Another one came closer to them and took Klefki from around Lightning's neck. The action woke the sleeping key up, "Hey!! What do you think you're doing?!"

"Let her go!!!" Lightning shouted in alarm.

The Gastly laughed and stuck his tongue out at her before floating going through the bars of the closed cage. "Make me!! I'm just taking her so you don't try to escape again!"

He then turned to see Luigi's Thunderstone. "Now what do we have here?" He floated into the cage again to grab the Thunderstone.

"That's not yours! Give it back!" Lightning ordered. She was going to attempt to take it back from the Gastly but Luigi pulled her back.

"Lightning don't touch it! It'll make you evolve!" Luigi warned.

Lightning realized he was right. "Oh..."

The Gastly then laughed. "Is the little scaredy-chu afraid of a little stone?! Ha! And I thought Luigi was a coward!"

The Gastly used Psychic to raise the Thunderstone in front of Lightning teasingly. She slowly backed away from it in fear.

"L-Leave her... alone!!" Luigi shouted. He had enough as he stepped in front of Lightning and grabbed the stone making him evolve.

The Gastly gave them a confused look. "What happened? Where's the stone?!"

He floated towards Luigi in anger. "What did you do with it!! Where is it?! Give it to me!!"

"Forget it! The stone is gone now and you'll never get it!" Lightning told them.

A Haunter pushed beside the Gastly. "If we want something! We take it!"

The Haunter quickly put one of his ghostly hands inside of Luigi's chest by force, making him wince in pain as he did.

"Stop! What are you doing? Leave him alone!" Lightning yelled.

"Don't touch my brother!!" Mario shouted, running towards the Haunter. Only to be picked up by Psychic along with the others by one of the Gastly, being held in the air against the wall forced to watch the Haunter forcefully take the Thunderstone out of Luigi; making him de-evolve and collapse to the floor, unconscious.

The Gastly then let the others fall to the floor. Lightning and Mario quickly got back up to their paws and run towards Luigi in worry.

Lightning glared at the Haunter. "What did you do to him?!"

"I don't know but I got what I want!" The Haunter answered with a laugh before leaving them alone and beckoning the others to follow him.

Lightning ran towards the bars. "You'll pay for this!!" She shouted.

After a while, Luigi woke up again and looked up at his friends. "L-Lightning, he-he took it... He took the stone."

"I know... I'm sorry... I tried to stop him but..."

"It wasn't y-yo-your fault..." Luigi got a strange electric shock and collapsed again.

"Luigi!!! Are you okay?!" Lightning asked in concern.

"I-I-"

"Luigi, What's wrong? Are you okay? What did that creep do to you???" Mario asked.

"I don't know..." Luigi answered, he then started taking unsteady breaths. "But I don't feel very good... I think I need to lie down..." He tries to carefully put himself on the ground but he only passed out again once he did.

"LUIGI!!" Mario and Lightning yelled in unison.

Lightning turned to Mario, "Something's wrong..." She sighed.

"We need to get out of here! Luigi needs help now!" Alex told them.

"We know...But how?" Lightning asked.

Thunder looked around him at all the Starters and Meowth lying on the ground defeated. He took a breath of relief, "Finally that's taken care of..." he told himself. "Now to find the others." He followed their scents.

He stopped when he caught the sent of Ghost Type energy. "Oh no!! That's not a good sign.." He then gasped in realization. "They must be in trouble!! I have to find them and fast!"

He continued following their scent as best as he could.
