Lightning was thrown in the cage with great force from the Gastly before they slammed the door shut. They laughed at her mischievously.

"Let me go!!!" She snapped.

"Nah! You'll be in there for a while Pikachu and your friends can't help you either. Once we have them, we will finally be able to trap them in paintings for all eternity and their world will belong to us and so will yours!!" They laughed.

"You won't get away with this!! You'll never get the brothers. They'll-"

"They'll not strong against us. When we gang up and recreate the Mysterious Power nothing can stop us!" The Gastly interrupted with a grin.

"Mysterious Power?" Lightning thought. She glared at the boos and used Iron Tail on the cage. It barely did any damage.

"Hey! Chill out Pika! We wouldn't want to get ugly here!" One of the Gastly warned.

"You want me to chill out!!! You Pikanapped me and trapped me in a cage like an animal!! How am I supposed to calm down!!"

"Well you are an animal... Are you not?" The Gastly protested.

Lightning's cheeks began to spark. "Scoundrel!" She growled under her breath through gritted teeth.

"And soon your friends will join you. Don't worry... You won't be lonely for long..."

"How is that supposed to make me feel better?!"

One of the  Gastly rolled his eyes in annoyance and used Ice Punch on her.

Lightning shivered from the impact and winced in pain.

"We'll leave you alone for now. The King is still out there looking for your friends so we should go back to aid him too." The Gastly then disappeared and left Lightning alone. She used Iron Tail again in attempt to escape but the cage wouldn't give in. She sighed. "There's no point wasting moves and tiring myself out... I hope Mario and Luigi are okay... And all of my friends and family as well."

Mario, Luigi, Gabe, Churro, Jake And Max continued following Alex through the forest until they reached an old abandoned Mansion.

Alex stopped and closed his eyes. His ears perked and he opened his eyes again.

"She is in there." He said.

"A-are you sure???" Luigi stuttered, trembling in fear.

"It seems like it. Her aura led us here." Alex answered.

"Well what are we waiting for? Let's a go!!" Mario added.

They walked forward. They didn't notice Alex laughing a little bit to himself, but he soon dropped it. He shook his head and followed. "Get ahold of yourself Alex. What's so funny about their accent anyways???" He questioned.

They cautiously walked into the Mansion to start searching for Lightning. They found it strange that the place seemed unoccupied but they never completely let their guard down. They didn't realize that Swift was quietly following them.

Swift put a paw to his heart. "Don't worry my love. I will rescue you." He whispered in the darkness. "We will be together soon, my Light!"  He continued following the group through the darkness.

At that moment, a Gastly appeared in front of him. Swift jumped up and tried not to scream in fright.

"What's the matter little pest? Cat got your tongue..." The Gastly spoke.

"A-A-A Ghost..." He quivered. He ran behind a chair in alarm.

The Gastly just stuck out his tongue and rolled his eyes. "You're not worth it... You're much more of a wimp than the Green Vee." The Gastly said. "Hey! Have you seen anyone else around here?"

Swift just trembled and didn't seem to want to reply.

The Gastly groaned. "Fine... Whatever... Don't answer my question. I don't need your help anyways... I can find them myself then. I don't need a pest to help me out..." He then vanished without another word.

Swift took a deep breath of relief. "That was close." He thought. "I hate Ghost Types... I just have to find Lightning and get us out of here before anything else happens." He stepped out of his hiding place and quickly ran through the mansion.

The heroes continued following Alex through the mansion. They encountered a few Gastly but there didn't seem to be much since most of them were with the King in the forest.

They finally made it to the door where Alex felt Lightning's Aura even more.

"She must be in here." He told them.

Luigi slowly opened the door and to his surprise he saw Lightning in the cage.

"Lightning!!" He shouted.

Lightning looked up to see him. " Luigi!!" She gasped.

Luigi rushed towards her only to be picked up by a Psychic Attack and slammed to the ground.

"What the-" he mumbled as he shook his head and got back up to his paws. They looked up to see a Haunter appear in front of Lightning's cage.

"Hello, little Green Vee!!!" The Haunter  laughed, grinning evilly.
