Luigi looked down to the ground, whimpering and trembling in Worry as he walked.

Lightning stopped and turned around. She sighed. "Luigi it's alright... We'll save him, I promise..."

"But... But... What if King Boo... Does something awful to him..." he replied, tears in his eyes.

"Luigi.... He'll be okay." Lightning told him.

"I-I hope so..."

Lightning gave him a small smile and wiped the tears out of his eyes with a paw. "Come on..."

"But wait... Shouldn't I know how to fight too???" Gabe asked.

"He's right... He doesn't know how to fight yet." Luigi added.

"Well... Maybe he can learn as we go on" Lightning replied.

"Maybe..." Gabe replied.

"I mean that's how most Pokémon learn." Jake said.

"If you say so" Gabe responded.

Suddenly they heard voices and peaked from behind a bush to see three Starter Pokémon. An Ivysaur, Charmeleon and Wartortle were conversing to each other.

"Where are those young Pokémon???" The Ivysaur asked.

"Patience, Sage. They will come here soon, I can feel it. Once we find them we'll defeat them together and take them to The Boss. They'll never reach the red one." The Charmeleon answered.

Luigi's ears perked. "The red one???"

Luigi stomped a paw on the ground in anger. "They know where Mario is..." He whispered through gritted teeth.

"So what should we do with them once we catch them?" The Wartortle asked.

The Ivysaur slapped him with a vine whip. "Haven't you heard a single word? The Boss wants the green one so he can punish him for all the trouble he caused. He's a dangerous criminal." He explained.

"Oh..." the Wartortle mumbled, rubbing his cheek.

"And what about the others? The traitors... That pathetic little rat?"

Lightning growled. "RAT???" She accidentally blurred out. She covered her mouth with her paws and gasped.

"Whose there??? Come out and put your paws in the air, you Spies!!!" The Charmeleon shouted.

Luigi trembled as they slowly stepped out.

"It's them!! Put your paws in the air now, you filthy criminals!!!"

"We're not criminals!!" Lightning shouted back.

"You!!!" The Charmeleon growled. He used an Ember Attack heading for Lightning. She used an Electro Ball to counter the attack.

"What did you do to Mario?!?!" She shouted.

"Do you mean the Eevee??? It's none of your concern. If you cause us trouble then you will regret it because we will do whatever we want to the little prisoner."

Luigi growled. "You will not hurt my brother!! He'll make you regret it!!"

Luigi was suddenly attacked by a Water Gun, Dragon Rage And Razor Leaf.

He collapsed to the ground and winced in pain.

Lightning gasped and rushed towards him. Luigi!! Are you okay??"

"I-I'm Fine..." he mumbled as he slowly got up. He only collapsed to the ground again.

"Are you sure you're alright Luigi? Those attacks look like they did a huge amount of damage on you.."

"I'm... Fine... I'll do anything for my brother. Even if it kills me..." he replied, struggling to get up.

"Luigi...." Lightning sighed. "In that case, I think you need to get your energy back up... Here..." she gave Luigi a Sitrus berry and he slowly ate it.

After he finished, he got to his paws and looked up in determination. "Thanks Lightning... I needed that..." he responded.

He straightened his cap and glared at the three mid-evolution Starters. "Let's a go!!" He nodded.

The Charmeleon growled. "You should have given up when you had the chance." He used Flamethrower.

Lightning and Luigi jumped over it. They both decided to take care of the Charmeleon as Jake, Churro and Max took care of the others. Gabe watched them to hopefully learn something.

Luigi took out his Thunderstone and evolved. He used Thunderbolt on the Charmeleon as Lightning did the same. The Charmeleon growled in anger. He used Dragon Rage. They dodged as the attack went in between them.

Lightning used Electro Ball and Luigi used Thunder. The Charmeleon collapsed, now paralyzed. He seemed to have given up after that.

The mid-evolution Starters realized that they didn't stand a chance.

"Retreat!!!" The Charmeleon shouted. "You May have beaten us now but next time you won't be so lucky because We'll defeat you next time!!!"

Lightning and Luigi high-five.

"Come on Luigi. Let's keep going..." Lightning told him. "We need to hurry..."

"Let's a save Mario" Luigi told her.

Suddenly, they were distracted by a sudden laugh. A certain Raichu and two Mimikyus revealed themselves. "Hello sister!!" She smirked.

"Audra!!!" Lightning growled in hatred.
