Paarthurnax flew towards them, giving them a menacing glare.

Luigi backed up in alarm. "Wh-What do we do???" Luigi asked.

"I think we must fight him..." Mario answered.

"What?! Are you crazy!!!" Luigi shouted, "we can't fight that... That thing. Not by ourselves!"

"We have to try... Or he'll just keep trying to find us if we run..."

"Mario has a point. Paarthurnax never gives up very easily. He expects that the Starter Squad can do anything." Lightning replied.

Luigi gulped and trembled. "I have a bad feeling about this..." he whispered to himself.

Paarthurnax used a Flamethrower at the group. They all successfully dodged it. Lightning and Luigi used Thunderbolt. At that moment, Mario and Luigi de-evolved.

They looked at each other in worry. "Oh no... Not now..." Luigi replied to Mario.

Mario shook his head. "Come on Weeg... I know we can still do this..."

"Mario I don't know. Paarthurnax doesn't seem close to being taken down... I think we should bail..." Luigi replied.

"Bail??? No, Luigi. The Mario Brothers never give up..."

"Mario... Listen bro. Sometimes you have to know when to bail." Luigi replied.

Before Mario had the chance to reply, Paarthurnax picked him up and flew up in the sky. He spins and zoomed back down with great speed and Paarthurnax tossed Mario to the ground.

Luigi gasped in horror, seeing Mario laying there next to him on the ground with his hat on the ground beside him. He has been knocked out.

"MARIO!!!!" Luigi cried.

Paarthurnax grinned and picked Mario up again. He started to fly away with Mario in his claws.

"No!!! He's got Mario!!" Luigi cried.

"Come on Luigi.. We have to hurry..." Lightning said, giving Mario's hat to Luigi. They quickly chased after Paarthurnax, only to notice that they have lost track of him.

Luigi fell to the floor, covering his face into Mario's hat. "He-He's gone..." he mumbled.

Lightning looked at him in a look of worry. She put a paw on his shoulder. He looked up at her, tears in his eyes.

"Luigi..." Lightning sighed. "We'll get him back... I promise you..."

Luigi sniffed. "I hope..."

"Luigi, I know we will... We won't lose hope. We'll find him and we won't give up until we do." Lightning replied.
