"Get them now!!!" A Wartortle ordered.

A Torracat rushed towards Luigi. He backed up and looked at the fire cat Starter timidly. "N-Nice kitty..." he stuttered.

The Torracat was about to pounce on Luigi But Lightning used Iron Tail and hit the Torracat in the back of the head.

The Torracat turned to look at her and hissed loudly in anger. "Traitor!!!" He declared.

"I am not a traitor... You are..." Lightning told him. She used Thunderbolt to quickly take the Torracat down.

A Chespin saw the Torracat, collapse to the floor, easily defeated by Lightning. He growled and rushed toward her. The Chespin used Seed Bomb on Lightning. She was attacked by a barrage of hard-shelled seeds. Luigi used Shadow Ball on the Chespin, followed by Iron Tail.

"Lightning, are you alright?" Luigi asked her.

"Don't worry I'm okay. Thanks for your help, Weeg." Lightning answered with a small smile.

"Look out!!!" Lightning and Luigi suddenly heard Mario shout at them.

They turned to see a Dewott about to use Razor Shell. Lightning blocked the attack with Iron Tail. The Dewott snarled at her.

Luigi glared at the Dewott and took out his Thunderstone. He evolved into a Jolteon and used Thunderbolt on the water type otter Starter. The Dewott wasn't really a difficult opponent.

Lightning and Luigi turned to see Mario as a Flareon being surrounded by three water type Starters.

Lightning gasped. "Uh oh... Luigi, we need to help him. He's in trouble..."

"Right..." Luigi nodded.

They both rushed to Mario's side to help him out. Luigi and Lightning both used a Thunderbolt Attack to take down the water types.

"Thanks for the help" Mario said to them.

"Anytime bro..." Luigi replied with a smile.

Lightning gave Mario a peace sign. "No problem, Mario!"

Mario, Luigi and Lightning looked to see the three Starters and Gabe. At first Gabe didn't know what to do but that was normal for someone who hadn't been a Pokémon before until now. Churro, Jake and Max were helping him out so the Starters wouldn't be able to get near him.

"I think we should help him learn how to attack when we can..." Luigi said.

"Yeah..." Lightning replied. "But we have to take care of these Starters first then when we find shelter, we'll help him out."

"I think we should help them with the rest of the Starters as well." Mario added.

"Agreed." Lightning and Luigi nodded.

Luigi as a Jolteon and Mario as a Flareon continued fighting off the remaining hostile Starters with Lightning, Churro, Max and Jake.

Once the heroes finished off the rest of the Starters, they continued on to find shelter.
