Star #1: Search for the penguins

So The Mario Bros. reached the fourth world, which it was a cold and snowy place. They've found themselves in a place called "The Snowy Theme Park". Luigi got excited and wanted to enter, but he discovered that it was closed; he then got sad.

Now, Mario heard a crying coming from somewhere near the entrance. Mario and Luigi followed the noise and discovered that it was a penguin.

"What's wrong little penguin?" Luigi asked.

"Sniff Sniff, please save my friends" the penguin replied.

Suddenly, three living Snowmans came from the snow, each one holding a penguin. As Mario and Luigi saw them with the penguins, they ran to save them.

The Snowmans got into the snow; Mario, with his hammer on hands, was looking very carefully for them. A Snowman got out from afar, willing to throw a snowball at Mario, who threw his hammer at it, destroying it on the act. The first penguin got saved.

Moreover, another snowman got out by Mario's side. Mario tried to get it, but the Snowman got into the snow and ran away from him. Mario could see his track, so he followed him behind while equipping a Fire Flower. The Snowman got out of the snow; Mario jumped and felt in front of the Snowman, who got scared by Mario's presence. Mario shoots a fireball, melting the snowman on the act and freeing the second penguin.

Mario went to see if Luigi saved the last penguin, but instead he saw him throwing fireballs at all places since the Snowman was in the snow moving around him. Luigi couldn't find a chance to hit it, so he decided to shoot at all places.

Mario got a gloomly stare and threw a fireball, which got the Snowman. He melted away, and the last penguin was saved.

Mario and Luigi got all of them back to the crying penguin, who got happy after seeing his friends again.

"Thank you very much" the penguin said. "Allow us to open the way to the Snowy Theme Park for you".

Luigi got excited when he heard those words. The penguins opened the door and entered with the other penguins. Moreover, one of the penguins stopped walking, looked at Mario and Luigi and took a Power Star out of hid mouth; he then kept walking. Mario touched the Star, sending it back to Peach's Castle.

Star #2: Aim and Melt

"We are glad to welcome you to The Snowy Theme Park" a penguin said.

Luigi's excitement dissapeared after seeing that there was only four games available.

"Sorry if you though that it was a big theme park" The penguin said.

"What you penguins do here besides playing?" Luigi asked with sadness.

"Well, this place is like a home for us too. We also put our treasures in here. Speaking of that, I remember that we found four of those shiny Stars the other day and--"

"Shiny Stars?" Mario said. "We are searching for those. Listen kids, I know that you must be beloved with those stars, but please we need to take them with us. Otherwise our world could be in grave danger".

"Sure" the penguin said. "Only if you play all the four games of our park. If you win on each one, then the Stars are yours".

Mario and Luigi nodded and proceeded to the first game.

"The first game consist on getting rid of all those Snowmans before time runs out. I'll give a Fire Flower to each one of you. After equipping them, start the game".

Mario and Luigi got each one a Fire Flower and equipped it. The time limit was 1 minute, and there was 20 snowmans in total.

"3... 2... 1... GO!"

Mario and Luigi speedily started shooting fireballs at all the Snowmans, who were melting as soon as they made contact with them. They managed to melt all the Snowmans before time ran out. There was 5 seconds left.

"You did a great game" the penguin said. "Here's your price"

The penguin gave the Star. Mario touched it, sending it back to Peach's Castle. Mario and Luigi went to the next penguin, who was waiting on the next game.

Star #3: Aim and Freeze

"This game consist on freezing every Goomba that appears from the warp pipes using those Ice Flowers. There is no time limit, but you must hit every one of them. You'll lose if you miss one or more".

Mario and Luigi equipped the Ice Flowers.

3... 2... 1... GO!

They started to throw Iceballs at every Goomba that were coming from the Warp Pipes. It was complicated, but they weren't missing a single Goomba at all. Finally, there weren't anymore Goombas coming from the Warp Pipes. All of them got freezed. Mario and Luigi got back to normal and handed over the Ice Flowers to the penguin.

"Congratulations" the penguin said. "Here's the shiny Star".

Mario touched the Star, sending it back to Peach's Castle. On to the next game.

Star #4: Snowball Battle

"Now all three of us are going to play on this game. We are going to have a Snowball Battle. You two against us. If you manage to hit every single one of us, then you win, but you'll lose if we hit both of you".

3... 2... 1... GO!

Mario and Luigi got behind two wodden walls to cover themselves. The penguins were throwing at all parts of the Mario Bros. side.

Luigi got a snowball and threw it on one of the penguins. The first penguin was out. Mario got a snowball too and hit another one. "Phew, I'm glad I didn't missed that" He said.

"Hey Luigi, I managed too--

Mario saw that Luigi got hit by a snowball from the last penguin standing; Luigi was eliminated.

"Sorry Mario. Please don't fail" He said.

"Come on out mister of the red cap. You can't stay hidden for ever" the penguin said.

Mario saw a hole on the wooden wall, perfect to throw a snowball through it. Mario got a Snowball and took distance. He then threw it to the hole; The snowball successfully entered and hit the penguin. Mario won the game.

"You did it Mario!" Luigi said.

"Well, at least we had fun" a penguin said. "Here you go".

The penguin handed over the third Star to Luigi. He then touched it, sending it back to Peach's Castle. There was one game left before getting the last star.

Star #5: The Snowy Race

"Finally, we have reached the final game. We are going to race through all this snowy track. You use this Snowboard, we will slide using our own body. The first to pass the finish line wins. Just like before, if you win, then you get the last Shiny Star we hold.

Mario and Luigi agreed and hop on the Snowboard.

Ready... Set... GO!

The race begins. It was the Mario Bros. versus all three penguins. They had to pass the finish line before any of them. If one penguin passes the line, then all three penguins will be victorious.

Mario and Luigi were behind all three penguins. Two of them were pushing forward, leaving Mario and Luigi with one penguin. The penguin was trying to not let Mario and Luigi pass. After a while, they managed to pass the penguin and left him behind.

They kept sliding forward and found the second penguin. On that moment, they were about to jump on platforms. The penguin started to jump on each one, breaking them on the act. Mario was looking for another way and he decided to slide through a cliff. Mario and Luigi managed to reach the other side before the penguin.

Finally, Mario reached the last penguin, and the finish line was very close. They were gaining a lot of speed, managing to pass the last penguin and passing the finish line. Mario and Luigi were victorious.

The penguins couldn't believe that The Mario Bros. would win the race, but at the end they've got happy about it.

"Wow! That was really a wonderful race. Well, here's the last Shiny Star, just like we promised".

The penguins had finally gave the last Power Star to Mario and Luigi. Mario touched it, sending it back to Peach's Castle.

"Nice job Mario" a funny voice came from somewhere.

It was Kamek, who trapped the penguins in a net while flying his broom.

"Who would think that this little brats would handle three of those precious Power Stars. Oh I forgot, now you, the enemies of King Bowser, have them now, right?"

"Kamek! What's wrong with you? Free those poor penguins right now!" Mario shouted.

"If you want to save them so badly, then follow me" Kamek replied.

He then flew to a cave,which looked to be abandoned. Mario and Luigi hop on the Snowboard once again and started the pursuit on Kamek.

Star #6: Kamek

Mario and Luigi were pursuing Kamek. He had the net with the penguins attached on his broom; the penguins were crying for help. Kamek saw Mario and Luigi getting close and he prepared to fight them.

"Hey Luigi" Mario said. "Get the snowboard! I'm going to fight Kamek and try to save the penguins".

Luigi nodded to Mario.

Mario takes his hammer while Luigi was getting close to Kamek. Once he was close enough, Mario jumped and fell on Kamek's broom. Mario tried to hit Kamek with his hammer, but Kamek stopped with his wand. Mario got surprised.

"What? You though that I wouldn't know how to fight?" Kamek said.

Mario and Kamek started to fight while standing on the flying broom. Moving on, Mario jumped and felt behind Kamek and tried to hit him with his hammer. However, Kamek stopped it again with his wand. While at it, Kamek was pointing his at Mario; he tried to damage Mario with his magic, but Mario moved his head to the left, avoiding it on the act. Mario tries to hit Kamek with his hammer once again, but Kamek dissapeared quickly; Mario was left alone in the flying broom along with the penguins. Mario started to look for Kamek, but he couldn't find him anywhere. Suddenly, Kamek appears and started to make a annoying laugh. Mario jumps and reaches him.

Both of them started to fight while on midair. Mario managed to kick Kamek's belly, but Kamek responds by shooting a magical attack at Mario, sending him back to the ice floor. However, Luigi aproaches on the snowboard and saves his brother. Kamek goes back to his broom.

"Thanks Luigi" Mario said to Luigi, who nodded at him.

Mario wanted to return the favor to Kamek, so he got a Fire Flower and became Fire Mario. While standing on the Snowboard, he made a big fireball and threw it to Kamek without damaging the penguins. Kamek quickly made a magical shield around him, avoiding any possible damages. Kamek got mad by Mario's attack; he then flies toward Mario and Luigi, willing to attack them. Mario starts to fire many fireballs at Kamek, who was protecting himself with another magical shield while flying at them. Mario stopped shooting his fireballs. Then, Kamek makes a big magical ball and throws it at Mario and Luigi. Mario was shocked, but he got an idea. Mario jumps from the snowboard and hits the magical ball with his hammer, that was covered by fire. He used all his strength to push the magical ball away from the ground. Finally, Mario pushed it to the sky. However, the magical ball exploded, and small pieces from it started to fall. Luigi prepared himself to dodge all of them. While dodging, Luigi managed to get under Kamek's broom; Mario used this opportunity to grab the net containing the penguins; he managed to save them, although it got Kamek pretty angry.

Suddenly, one of the pieces of the big magical ball that Kamek made felt behind the snowboard, making Mario and Luigi to fell from it. Mario and Luigi felt what appears to be an combat arena, while the penguins felt close to a Snowman, outside the arena. Kamek arrives angrily; he then made another big magical ball. "Not this time Kamek" Mario said. For a second time, Mario made a big fireball. Kamek and Mario throws their attacks simultaneously after powering it at maximum power. Mario and Kamek were using all their strength; only one of them will reach the other and defeat it. Finally, Kamek's energy dropped to zero; Mario's fire attack reaches Kamek and burns him. Kamek ended covered in black and felt to the ground. A Power Star comes from Kamek; Mario touched it, sending it back to Peach's Castle. Kamek stands up and says angrily:

"Why you--!!! That Power Star was the reason I had all this new combat abilities! Now I am nothing more but a magikoopa! Oh but don't think this ends here! NOW, PREPARE THE SECRET WEAPON!!!

Final Star: Mecha-Snowman

A door was opening right in the middle of the combat arena, and a platform was ascending from it. On the platform, there was a big robot with the look of a Snowman. After reaching the surface, the cockpit's door opened, and the Koopalings were on it. They started to laugh at Mario and Luigi.

"They are all yours" Kamek said to the Koopalings.

The Koopalings closed the doors of the cockpit and prepared the robot for battle. The Koopalings shoot a semi big- snowball to Luigi. Luigi got scared and felt to the ground. The snowball was going to hit him, but Mario hit it with his hammer, saving Luigi on the act. Mario helps Luigi to stand up.

"Thanks Mario, but that thing looks more tougher than us. What should we do?" Luigi asked.

"Fight until the end" Mario replied while getting his Fire Flower.

Luigi gets his Fire Flower too and turns into Fire Luigi. They both made a high five and ran toward the robot.

The Koopalings made the robot to throw a lot of snowballs; Mario and Luigi dodged all of them. Mario and Luigi got separated; Mario got to the robots left, while Luigi got to it's right. they both started to charge a Fireball. After charging, they both jumped and threw their attack at the robot. The fire covering the robot was overheating it. After a while, the fire vanished. The Koopalings got mad; they made a big snowball and threw it at Mario and Luigi. However, both of them started to shoot lots of fireballs at the snowball, melting it on the act.

The robot ran toward Mario and Luigi; Mario and Luigi had a plan. They shoot fire on the robots surroundings, trapping it inside a fire ring. The robot started to overheat a little more; it was about to reach it's limits. The Koopalings decided to shoot their more powerful attack, believing that they will defeat the Mario Bros. on the act. A big laser cannon came from the robot's belly and started to charge. Mario and Luigi decided to combine their fire power to fight back. After charging, both side had simultaneously shoot their attacks. Both attacks collide, just like happened with Mario and Kamek. Mario and Luigi's attack was way more stronger than the laser attack from the Koopalings's robot, which means that it reached the robot and started to get burned again. The overheat meter reached it's limit, causing the robot to explode. The Koopalings flew away from the combat arena due to the explosion, and Kamek escaped through a portal, back to Bowser's castle. The last Power Star from the Snowy Theme Park got out of the robot. Mario and Luigi touched it at the same time, sending it back to Peach's Castle.

After that, Mario and Luigi got back to normal and ran to where the penguins felt. They were out of the net, safe from any wounds.

"Thank you very much from saving us. I don't know what else could happened if you didn't come to our aid" one of the penguins said.

"It was nothing little penguins" Mario replied. "Well, if everything is on order, then me and my brother are heading back from where we came from".

The penguins nooded to Mario. Finally, Mario and Luigi got through the portal, back to Bowser's Castle.

Mario and Luigi went to Toadsworth, and Mario said:

" Toadsworth! We managed to get all the Power Stars from this last world".

"But of course" Toadsworth replied. "You are Mario. You're the only one who can save us".

*Luigi looked at Toadsworth gloomly*

"... and you too Master Luigi" Toadsworth said.

Toadsworth kept talking:

"The current state of Peach's Castle is better than before, although we still have a long way to go".

"We'll recover it Toadsworth" Mario said.

"Good Master Mario" Toadsworth replied. "Now, it looks like everything in this floor is already finished, so we'll have to go to the second floor. The only problem is that a portal is blocking the way. There must be something to do beyond that portal before we go to the next floor".

Mario and Luigi nodded and got beyond that portal. But before that, Toadsworth had a chat with Luigi and gave him some kind of object. Mario was looking and wondered what's the object that Toadsworth gave to his brother. He forgot about it and went to the portal with Luigi.

Meanwhile, Kamek went to Bowser's location, somewhere outside the castle, and informed him about what happened in The Snowy Theme Park. He though that he would get mad, but instead Bowser started to laugh.

"On moments like this I always end up getting mad, but I won't this time. Those plumbers will now come to me, and I'll finish then by myself" Bowser explained.

Kamek dissapeared from the room.
