Mom was ironing Clarks shirt for the party. I was making some popcorn to have myself a movie night.

"Mom, you almost done?" Clark stresses

"Relax, Clark. You're not gonna be late for once." she replied "By the way, did you figure out what to get Lana?" she wondered and I watched her try to be inconspicuous.

"Yeah, Lex helped me out."

"Of course he did." I muttered under my breath

"I heard that, Mia." he called over but I didn't say anything and just carried on with my popcorn. I emptied it out into a bowl,

"So what is it? Mom wondered

"I thought you were butting out of this." Clark joked as I poured on the butter and then added a little salt mixing it together.

"Then you better learn how to iron." Mom handed his shirt over Then left "Hi Chloe." I looked up to see her heading over to me "

"Hi Mrs Kent." she called back "Mia you need to see this." she handed me a yellow slip

"Why aren't you dressed?" Clark questioned her

"I didn't have time. Mia really needed to see this." she brushed him off

"Smallville body and fender. Replace windshield, replace side panels. Cause of impact with a deer." I read out "Is this for Jodi's car?" I guessed

"Yeah." she rocked back and forth on her heels

"You have a theory don't you, go on out with it": I handed the slip back to her and munched on some popcorn.

"Her house is built right next to one of the big meteor hits. You know by now how said meteors have changed people." she theorised

"And your thinking that since she's being healthy, it's highly likely she's lost the weight by drinking juice from the vegetables grown in her greenhouse." she clicked her fingers pointing at me symbolising I was right "The amount she's losings is to fast to keep up with regular food."

"And that's why she needs body fat" she finished off my sentence."

"We need to find her." Clark stepped in

"Jodi wouldn't let anything keep her from getting to that party." Chloe stated as I went to get my jacket

"Pete." I breathe "We'll take my Dad's bike it's faster."

"It won't fit three of us." Clark rebuffed

"Oh so now, friends matter? I thought the only person you cared about what the girl next door. i'll help Pete since your too busy, come on Chloe." I pull her along to my Dad's bike and pass her a helmet I got on first as she fixed it on

"Are you sure you know how to ride this thing?" she questioned getting on the back

"Please, I can perfectly operate all matter of machinery. It comes with the growing up on a farm description." I turned it on and revved it up

"Mia!" I glance at Clark as Chloe wraps her arms around my waist then ride off down the road. It takes us ten minutes to reach Jodi's house. Which is completely dark yet, Pete's truck is there. I park and steady the bike. Chloe gets off.

"Stay here."

"What are you gonna do?" she asks "Jodi could be a flesh sucking vampire."

"Who spent there weekends learning martial arts when they were ten. Home taught." She scowls but i head to the door. I knock. "Jodi?" no answer but the door is ajar. I step in

"Jodi?" I walk through and see Pete laid out on the floor "Pete." I drop down and check him over he groans, semi conscious.

"Chloe!" i call for her "Pete where's Jodi?" he just groans and i see the back door. I run out just as Chloe comes in. I scan the area but don't see her, then noticed the green house. speeding over i enter without hesitation

"Jodi!" I call out but am hit with a tidal wave of low energy. I look over onto the soil and see bits of meteor rock. Fantastic. I was hit over the head and dropped to the floor groaning, that hurt. I turn onto my back seeing Jodi.

"Why can't you just leave me alone?" she whimpered

"Jodi...you're not well." I push myself up "I can help...if you let me." I promised her. She was the victim of a cruel world and circumstance that lead to this situation

"All I wanted was to be thin." she took another swipe but I ducked down, she took another one and it landed across my face.

"Jodi...this isn't you." I huff struggling to get to my feet. "You're better than this."

"What, isn't this what I'm supposed to look like" I managed to stand up but she it me again and I crashed through a glass panel.

"Jodi! Leave her alone." my head sagged to the side hearing my brothers voice "Look at yourself, is this who you really wanted to be?" he questioned and then there was silence

"Look at me...I'm a freak" I was lifted up and leant against Clark "I know how to stop this for good." Jodi hit a pipe the looked at the lighting

"Jodi no!" i pushed Clark towards her as she hit the light and Dropped back to the ground

Boom.

I wake up realising that I had blacked out. Glancing around I was in my room back at home and beside my bed was a extremely concerned Clark, Mom and Dad.

"Sweetheart, are you okay?" Mom asked stroking my hand

"What happened? I was in Jodi's house...." I trialed off trying to remember

"You were in Jodi's greenhouse." Clark replied

"No I was in her house, I was with Pete." I insisted. I knew my own mind and where I was before here.

"She must be suffering a little amnesia." Dad sighed "You went to Jodi's house to find Pete." I nodded

"You did, but then you followed Jodi out into her greenhouse where the soil had meteor rocks imbedded in them weakening you, enough for a fight. I got there just before she blew up the green house."

"Then how am I here?" i question

"I got both of you out and told Pete I found you like that. Convinced him you didn't need a doctor unlike Jodi. Then I brought you back." he explained and I pushed my sore body up.

"Shouldn't you be at your wannabe girlfriends or something? Instead of here." I grumble

"Mia, I chose to come after you. You're my sister. Pete's my best friend. Why would i chose anyone else." I glance down and pick at my bedding. he kissed my head.At some point I fell back asleep.
