"Yes, it's me. The one and only," answered Jason.

"Okay, I have no idea what's going on. Who are you? Are you behind all this?" Xavier demanded.

"I guess now is the time to explain everything. Back in 2018, Kylie Berry discovered this house had dark secrets. It was haunted by a man named George Kole, who killed three teenagers back in 1988. She managed to beat him, but unfortunately, he got me. Ever since that day, I have worked tirelessly to find out the true meaning behind this house. Now, I think I can tell you. Are you ready?"

Zoe, Patrick, and Xavier looked at each other, nodded in agreement, and turned back to Jason.

"In 1958, Jack Flynn, one of this house's previous owners, discovered the red room and this place. He met something that made him do three challenges like you just did. Once he won, he received a book. This book had all the evil knowledge you could imagine, times two. One of the passages involved transcending death and becoming immortal, but as a shadow of your former self. To do so, he needed to sacrifice three people every 30 years. In this case, the people were his co-workers. He got shot dead, but he continued his work by possessing George Kole in 1988. Thankfully, in 2019, Jack's power weakened because he failed to kill three people, and Kylie was able to defeat him."

Continuing, Jason explained, "Today, however, this force that made Jack do what he did is still around. Luckily, I came up with a plan. I have been wandering around Silverton for the past three years, occasionally returning to this residence. I knew you three were coming, so I sent Zoe here the same challenges Jack Flynn did over 60 years ago. Only this time, I wanted to prepare you three to go up against the entity that manipulated Jack. I'm doing this because I don't want any more people to fall victim to this cursed place."

"Normally, I'd say you're out of your fucking mind, but at this point, I'm ready to believe anything," Patrick said to Jason. "But still... where are we, anyway?"

"Take a look at the door at the end of the hallway," Jason responded.

Patrick walked to the door and read the following,
