It was another typical day at Silverton High School. Lunch was in session, and three of the most popular kids in school were sitting at their usual table.

The group's leader, Amy Marks, did whatever it took to stay on top. It was almost as if she had the entire school under her thumb. Her boyfriend, Cooper Trenton, was her trusty sidekick. He had a mysterious aura to him.

"Sometimes I wonder what happened to the Berry family," Cooper said.

"The Berry family? You mean the family that claimed to be haunted twice?" Amy asked. "Yeah, I never believed any of that crap."

"Seriously? The evidence seems pretty convincing to me," replied Cooper.

"Oh, come on. Getting hurt in a video game and then getting hurt in real life? What kind of bullshit is that?" Amy asked Cooper.

"Maybe it is a hoax, but there were still murders that happened in that house," Lauren O'Connor stated. She was an intelligent, calm girl who served as the group's brain.

"Oh, I believe the murders happened. I just don't think anything supernatural happened afterward," Amy said. "I bet the Berry family made that up so they could make a shit-ton of cash. People will do ANYTHING for money these days."

"Like spending a night in that house?" Lauren wondered.

"Yeah, like... wait, what?"

"Okay, so get this. We invite three of the biggest losers in school and pay them like $100 each to stay in the Berry house for one night," Lauren explained. "They can't leave, or else they won't get paid."

Cooper then pitched in his part of the plan. "We could attach cameras to them so they can record everything that happens."

"Fuck yeah! You rock, Cooper," Amy said, kissing him. "You too, Lauren. But how will we find the three least popular kids in school?"

"You leave that to me, babe," Cooper answered. "Those three kids happen to be in Precalculus. I'll ask them once class is over."

"Sounds like a plan!" Amy declared.

The bell then rang.
