Stendhal's Syndrome - JongSang ¦ Special #3
"JONGHO I SWEAR YOU'LL BE THE CAUSE OF YOUR OWN EARLY DEATH!" Yeosang yelled impatiently, tapping his foot on their hardwood floor as he waited for his husband to get himself downstairs so they could catch their flight.
"I'M COMING! JUST WAIT!" Jongho yelled back, scared for his health due to his husband's impatient yelling.
"WELL YOU'RE NOT COMING FAST ENOUGH!"
Jongho bounded down the stairs in the middle of pulling on a shirt while his jeans remained unbuttoned and hanging loosely on his hips. It wasn't his fault Yeosang was quick at getting ready.
"You're an actual child," Yeosang sighed, shamelessly scanning his husband's body. "I can't believe I married you. I should have used you to heal my syndrome and then marry someone else."
Jongho smiled at him, walking over to the male who sighed and buttoned his husband's pants while he finished putting on the shirt. He knew Yeosang didn't mean and that's why he boldly kissed him, removing himself a moment after.
"If we miss our flight, there will be NO sex for you for a week."
Jongho immediately pulled Yeosang out the door, quickly making sure the door was locked before getting them in the car. Luckily everything had been prepared beforehand and they were safe to leave the house.
"That's what made you speed up?!" Yeosang asked incredulously as Jongho backed out the vehicle. "Thats it, your priorities are so low you dont deserve sex for a week either way."
"But youre my priority! You should be honoured!" Jongho whined, grabbing Yeosang's dainty hand.
"I wish I still had Stendhal's Syndrome," Yeosang muttered. "Your dick would be crying nonstop for ass and I wouldn't give you any!"
Jongho began making noises resembling a tantrum. Yeosang remained quiet as he smirked to himself.
After going on his very first trip around two years prior, Yeosang couldn't get enough of the beauty around the world. He was honestly super grateful to the the fact that Jongho cured his syndrome and so he didnt actually mean the words he said and Jongho knew it but what did it hurt to fuck around a little bit?
Their trip to the airport was quiet after that. Even their flight was surprisingly quiet which resulted in Yeosang's suspicions to grow,
During the time they dated, were engaged, and then got married, Yeosang had figured the only time Jongho acted as such was when he had something up his sleeve. He seemed to become a bit distorted although it wasn't that noticeable.
"So when do you plan on telling me?" Yeosang asked right as their flight landed. "And don't you act as if you don't know what I'm talking about."
"But I don't know!" Jongho responded with furrowed eyebrows.
Yeosang frowned and glared at his husband, dropping the topic for the moment. He would have to pry sometime later.
Their first stop after resting the night was a nearby beach, deciding to start off their vacation with the most stereotypical destination before they would go to the other much more stereotypical places such as amusement parks and what not.
Dressed in a one piece suit on the day they were at the beach, Yeosang walked over the shores along the water, Jongho watching him from under an umbrella. Everything was fine and calming until sudden cat noises started coming out of Jongho's mouth.
"What the heck are you doing?" Yeosang asked with a frown and a confused expression.
"I'm cat calling you."
Yeosang couldn't help but to loudly guffaw, Jongho smiling that his husband laughed at his craziness.
"You're an idiot!"
"But you still love me anyway!"
And that Yeosang couldn't argue with.
Their beach day went well but Yeosang couldn't help but to feel something off with Jongho. He acted the same but the aura was competently off, resulting in the male to question him silently.
"Stop staring at me like that," Jongho complained, swatting Yeosang. "I can't even keep a secret from you because you'll weed it out!"
"I'm just breathing? I haven't even bothered you about whatever since two days ago?"
"But you keep giving me that look!"
Yeosang rolled his eyes, remaining quiet. He would wait for the secret even if it took an entire week to be revealed.
Surprisingly, Yeosang found out what the secret was on the fifth day of their trip. Jongho was unable to stay still as he fiddled with everything he touched, making it obvious there was something. It was until lunch that Yeosang really found out as they sat in their hotel restaurant.
"Okay! I can't take this! Yeosang, promise to not kill me, alright?"
Yeosang raised a perfectly manicured eyebrow in question. On the logical side, he really didnt want his doctor liscense removed so he agreed, silently trying to figure out how he could murder his hisband 'accidentally' if it came down to it.
"Tell me already. I'll decide after if it's worth dirtying my hands or not."
Jongho playfully glared at him but began speaking anyway.
"So I know we once spoke about adopting a child and I may or may not have set up an appointment to see an adoption center," Jongho rushed out, his appetite fully gone and his insides feeling as if they were about to fall out of his mouth.
Yeosang stared at him in shock. Of course, they had already had the discussion but not once had he thought that his husband would make the move to set up an appointment. Hell he wasn't even fully sure if they were ready for a child but after thinking back, he came to a conclusion that they really wouldn't mind although they would have to lessen their workaholic behaviour in order to provide the child with the right support and attention.
"I think it's a lovely idea but Jongho, baby, are you ready for a child? I think I am but I want to know if you are," Yeosnag stated calmly. "If you're just doing it because it seems like a nice way to expand our little family or because you think it'll make us happier, then I want you to step back and think of it clearly. Of course, I won't try to change your mind if you're sure about it."
Jongho grabbed Yeosang's hand in his, squeezing it gently in reassurance.
"Trust me, I've thought of this much more than possibly considered healthy and I have decided that I'm fine with it."
With a smile and a nod, they got up, heading to the adoption center. Of course, they knew it would be difficult due to them being in a forieign land but money always played a big role in getting what people wanted and they sure as hell had enough money with Yeosang's doctor position and Jongho's professional athlete career.
"I want a son. I don't know how to deal with girls and I'll be dead before I figure it out," Jongho said, sighing as they drove their rented vehicle to the place he had made arrangements with.
"Definitely. I don't understand them and it'll be so awkward to try to."
With the mutual agreement of looking for a son, they were presented to several children who smiled brightly at them once they got to the center but out of all of them, one stuck out the most.
"I don't know but he's so adorable?!" Yeosang whispered, grabbing onto Jongho's arm as he stared at the precious little boy.
"I know right?! I want him as well."
"My name is Udo Musashi but everyone calls me Kio!" the child said, having heard parts of their conversation.
"Aww! You're so cute!" Yeosang gushed, walking over to lightly pinch his cheeks before grabbing the little hand. "Jongho, I swear this is the one. We just have to get to know him better."
Jongho smiled at Kio, grabbing his other hand as they walked to the people who ran the center, having arrangements made that they could take the child out for a day to see what it would be like to adopt him.
Once everything had been settled, the first stop was to buy him some good quality food because they swore the center didn't feed them properly and they wanted the child to know that they definitely would get him the food he deserved.
With stars in his eyes as he ate, Yeosang nearly cried at the adorableness, grabbing onto Jongho's arm tightly as they tried not to stare too much but just couldn't help it.
"How old are you?" Jongho asked, realizing he didn't know any basic information.
"I'm eight!"
"So small," Yeosang whispered, a sad smile on his face as he remembered he never had the luxury of going outside at that age due to the syndrome he had but luckily, he was fine now.
And so they walked around and went to different locations, fun was all they had and when Kio became too sleepy to walk and too exhausted to even open his eyes, Jongho carried him while Yeosang drove them back to the center where they began the very expensive process of signing adoption papers but it was worth it.
At the end, they had an addition to their little family and they were several thousand dollars more broke than before but it was okay.
