SeongJoong ¦ #18
Tall, lean, pretty smile, red hair, and just overall hot, Park Seonghwa was what people called perfection, his acting career was also called perfection and his hidden romantic life that wasn't that obvious was also perfection.
His fans figured he was dating someone. Their deepest wishes simply wanting to know who but, he was so secretive about it and was never seen with anyone. The only thing that indicated that he was in a relationship was his sugary sweet smile he had every so often, such as in the mornings, and the stray love bites that would rest on his neck on the rare occasion.
He enjoyed keeping it a secret but there came a time where he wanted to expose his relationship and so that was what he planned to do as soon as possible.
His boyfriend was special to him, he wasn't like the others who wanted to date him for fame or money. His boyfriend didn't even know who he was at first, completely oblivious to his acting career and that was what he liked.
They started with true, genuine feelings and after a while, Seonghwa came to light, shocking the younger a fuck ton which led to an awkward air between them for a few minutes before going back as if it weren't a big deal and in which case, it really wasn't.
It was a regular day, Hongjoong, Seonghwa’s boyfriend, was at school and he was on his way to pick up the short, blue haired male like he did everyday, of course, on the normal day Hongjoong would first walk several streets away so no one could spot him and then get into Seonghwa's awaiting car.
Seonghwa decided that on that day, he would go fetch Hongjoong directly from his last class instead of waiting a distance away from the school, wanting to reveal their relationship now.
Pulling into the parking lot, Seonghwa strode in, sending a killer smile to the guard who simply stared at him awestruck. He walked down the halls, sending everyone he saw a smile as they forgot how to breathe, it was entertaining to say the least but he wanted to find Hongjoong to be especially entertained.
Class by class he went, peeking in for a while before asking for the short male. It didn't take long before most of the students found out about the red haired actor's presence. After asking way too many classes and receiving way too many negative results, he finally found a brave fanboy who told him where Hongjoong was.
“He's on the field, Sir Park. My name is Soobin!”
“Thank you Soobin, you have been the most helpful person in this entire place,” Seonghwa thanked, sending a smile.
A scream was heard as Seonghwa walked away, causing him to laugh in amusement. He wondered what it would have been like if Hongjoong had been his fan before dating and he shook his head, weirded out by the thought.
Sure enough, Hongjoong's mop of blue hair was spotted as he approached the field, a smile on his face as he saw his boyfriend fucking everything up.
“HELL YEAH! TAKE THAT!” Hongjooong yelled as he aggressively hit someone with a ball.
Seonghwa walked closer, leaning against a barrier and trying as hard as possible to pretend he was just a spectator and it worked for a few minutes until the aggressive game was over.
“I'M THE WINNER!” Hongjoong yelled in joy, bouncing in spot as his hair scattered in every direction, “I WO- Hwaseong?! What're you doing here?!”
The others turned to a smirking Seonghwa and gasped, unable to believe who they were looking at.
“Why not? Can't I visit you?” Seonghwa asked, raising his eyebrow in a teasing manner.
“Hwaseong you idiot!” Hongjoong cried, walking over to him briskly.
“Hongjoong!” A student yelled. “How could you talk to him like that?!”
Hongjoong looked at the male in confusion.
“What do you mean? We basically live together at this point and this is how we speak all the time. I see no problem.”
Hongjoong quickly slapped a hand over his mouth, realizing what he said. He looked at the red haired man to see if he was angry but was surprised to see amusement.
“WAIT! ARE YOU THE ONE LEAVING MARKS ON HIM?!” A female asked, making Hongjoong turn red.
“I'm glad you've caught on surprisingly fast,” Seonghwa spoke. “Hongjoong is what I'd like to call my boyfriend and I hope you guys won't give us a hard time.”
Over dramatic screams echoed around them as Hongjoong felt his face turn as bright as Seonghwa’s hair.
“Hwaseong! You didn't have to do this!” Hongjoong scolded in embarrassment.
“Why not? I'm tired of hiding you, I'm tired of pretending to have a girlfriend and I'm especially tired of not being able to go out with you besides at night,” Seonghwa explained. “I would risk everything just for you.”
The two stared at each other, Hongjoong feeling giddy inside at the words.
“That was so sweet. I think I might cry,” someone whispered, making Hongjoong laugh.
“You guys have no idea how soft he really is,” Hongjoong stated fondly, grabbing Seonghwa’s hand. “Let's go to my house? You can stay the night and help me with homework.”
Seonghwa laughed a laugh only Hongjoong always heard and now the few people that were there got to hear the sweet laugh.
“Only if I don't have to do your Math.”
“Well then what's the point?” Hongjoong asked with his arms akimbo. “That's the only reason I keep you around!”
Seonghwa shook his head with a smile, hugging Hongjoong and pulling him to walk away. Out of the school they walked, Hongjoong blushing madly as they walked through the halls filled with gaping students and Seonghwa stood the proudest of all.
With an arm wrapped around his boyfriend's shoulder, Seonghwa led them to his vehicle, getting in as hundreds of photos were taken from various angles. It was a Friday and Seonghwa immediately knew the weekend would be filled with articles about him and he didn't mind, knowing that he would be in the comfort of Hongjoong's house although he would be doing Math which was a big no for him. It didn't matter though, he had Hongjoong with him by his side as they read the articles and did homework, laughing loudly at posts every now and then.
It even came to a point where Hongjoong’s phone was flooded with messages but what did he care? He had Seonghwa there and it was okay.
“You know, I hope you didn't ruin my school life,” Hongjoong stated on Sunday night, realizing he might get bullied.
“It's okay because if they try anything, I'll sue them and use the money I win for our snack money.”
Hongjoong laughed. By all means, let them try anything. At least he'd get free snacks.
