JongSang ¦ #19
Stereotypical dates, movies, zoo visits, adventure parks, jet skiing, skydiving, concerts, and almost everything enjoyable under the sun had been done by the two lovers.
Jongho and Yeosang did everything all thanks to their friends who paid for them. Of course, they didn't know that the two were a thing but it didn't matter to the boyfriends. They got their amusement and fun and the best part? It was entirely free except for the additional bit of money they added for the extravagant things they did.
With red hair held up by a cute hair band and black hair now covered in purple dye, Yeosang and Jongho sat sprawled over the couch and sofa in Jongho's rather large house, spending time together. They had nothing to do and that weekend had no plans for them except to hang out which was fabulous in their opinion. They didn't always like going out but when they did, it was a date set up by their friends.
"Our four year anniversary is coming up next week," Yeosang commented, getting up and pulling Jongho with him to help him wash out the dye. "We should now tell everyone that we've been dating for ages."
Jongho followed, placing his hands on the males hips as they walked around, smiling at the house workers in respect and waving at his Mother who glanced up for a split second from her book with a smile before focusing once again.
"Sounds like a good idea. We can have them come here and boy will they either be pissed or surprised."
"They'll be pissed," Yeosang laughed, taking a seat and relaxing as Jongho began dealing with his hair. "I could hardly care though. They didn't catch on all those times we did suspicious things or said things so it's their problem."
And that was true. Disappearing for much too long and returning dishevelled or with a mark that wasn't there before they left were huge pieces of evidence yet never noticed or taken into consideration.
"And that is the reason why we'll hold a party and announce it then. We can have my Mother be our witness or something," Jongho suggested. "You know, just incase they think we're fucking with them."
Yeosang hummed in reply, focusing on Jongho's more than skilled fingers as they ran through his hair. It was a plan. They would definitely have to have something grand and possibly make it formal so that it would be much more believable.
The week that led up to the anniversary was a hassle as they got preparations ready and invitations sent out. The two felt like masterminds as they simply watched their friends freak out over the invitation, thinking that they were finally getting together when in reality, that wasn't the case but who were they to correct them and ruin the fun?
Yeosang had immense fun as he watched them freak out and his new purple hair made them suspect he had dyed it to indicate a new beginning as he began dating Jongho. Boy were they wrong on that one.
The closer the day arrived and the more everyone buzzed and finally, the day arrived right as they were beginning to get impatient.
"I hope they don't disown us," Jongho said on the day they were to hold their party, the both of them clad in dress pants, long sleeve button down, and vest, their hair styled back neatly.
"They can't. They love us too much," Yeosang responded confidently.
One by one, their friends arrived, Wooyoung being the very first as he entered, nervous yet excited.
"Jongho! I didn't know you lived in a mansion! I didn't even know where you lived and I've known you for years!"
"You don't know a lot of stuff about me," Jongho laughed, suddenly piquing Wooyoung's interest.
"Oh tell me! I want to know something exciting!"
Jongho and Yeosang glanced at each other for a second, silently communicating as the loud male waited.
"We'll tell you once Xiaojun, Soobin, and Sian get here."
Wooyoung huffed, settling down on a chair as the three others eventually filtered in one after the next, gaping at the house and at the two boyfriends. Yeosang was starting to feel his insides twist from nervousness but he kept smiling, holding onto Jongho's strong bicep.
Once they had all come in, settling down on their seats, Wooyoung looked at Jongho with wide eyes, silently begging him to speak.
"Well," Jongho started, clearing his throat. "I know you all think that you're here because Yeosang and I finally started dating but that's not true."
"What?!" Soobin asked, in surprise, his bunny-like face contorting into surprise. "So you're both still single?! After all these years?!"
"That neither," Yeosang said, squeezing Jongho's arm as he cleared his throat to tell them their secret. "We've been dating for four years now, today. We invited you for our four year anniversary."
Wooyoung let out an ear piercing shriek as Xiaojun aggressively spat out his water he had been drinking all over the floor, the other two simply frozen. What the fuck? What was this news? They couldn't believe it and by the looks of it, Wooyoung wouldn't be accepting it either.
"Kang Jongho! What do yo-"
"It's Choi."
"And?! We have a pressing matter at hand and you worry that I used the wrong name?! Suck it up!" Wooyoung exclaimed in distress. "Now what do you mean you've been dating all these years?! Are you telling me I've been donating money for your dates?!"
"Well, yeah?" Yeosang responded, taking a seat in a comfortable chair.
"So that means that you were gonna go on all those dates anyway but we just helped push it?" Xiaojun asked, his thick, beautiful eyebrows furrowing question. "So we were just a fund and you didn't plan on telling us for all these years?"
"We're telling you now," Jongho said, uncertain on how the four friends were feeling.
He understood that they might be mad or even willing to disappear from his life but by their reactions, it was complicated to tell and so he waited until it would be made clear.
"You guys aren't slick and those three arent smart, they're daft," Sian commented with crossed arms. "I thought it was obvious."
The five stared at him in surprise. They honestly expected him to be the most confused since he started working at the company a year after they started sending the two boyfriends on dates. How did he know before their oldest friends and why hadn't he said anything until then, when they were announcing it?
"I thought everyone knew, y'know, since I joined late I thought those dates were just being caring friends or something and the three telling you guys to date was just some kind of inside joke that I never learned but went along with."
Yeosang laughed, recovering from surprise and wrapping Sian in a hug. Damn his best friend had a sexy brain for being able to figure it out and keep quiet for the three years he knew them.
"But aren't you pissed that they used all our money when they were already dating?!" Wooyoung asked in exasperation. Clearly not angry but more like in disbelief.
"No? I was aware that there was something going on and I did it willingly because I'm nice. Unlike you who only wanted your 'mastermind' plan to work."
Wooyoung pouted, flopping back onto his seat like an upset child. It would take a while for them to recover and accept the fact but at least their biggest dream had come true.
"Well, it seems like this party was a success," Jongho laughed, clapping his hands as the house workers began bringing in food to the room they were hanging out in.
That night, they laughed and talked, Jongho and Yeosang smiling the brightest as they celebrated the completion of four years and the beginning of the journey to their fifth.
