Free - YunGi ¦ Special #1
Yunho huffed with crossed arms as he sat on the floor of the deck of his new ship. He couldn't believe it. Just days before he was shaking in joy to be able to have a three month honeymoon but now he really wanted to kick his beloved husband.
“Oh come on, we can go to some other country besides the ones you mentioned,” Mingi, his husband said, running a hand through his blue hair.
“No! I cant believe you've been to all those places and to make it worse, you've been banned or are wanted in most of them?! What do you mean you’re banned from Japan because you ‘accidentally’ set the firework factory alight?”
Yunho was fuming as he sat on the ground and he hated that Mingi just stood there looking stupidly handsome in his black, trenchcoat styled jacket and blue hair that he loved. How dare Mingi ruin his honeymoon by being banned in so many countries?
“We can go to Madagascar or something. I haven't been there,” Mingi suggested, hoping his caramel haired husband would agree.
“And do what?! Party with King Julian?!”
Mingi groaned. It seemed as if they were not going to Madagascar. It wasn't like that was where they intended to go at first but it was a suggestion.
“Have you been banned from Paris?” Yunho asked, already on his final straw with his husband.
“I'm not sure,” Mingi replied honestly, unable to recall whether he had even been there or not.
“Well you better remember!”
It was unbelievable. The widely known and greatly feared Song Mingi who ruled the Seven Seas and conquered lands was currently being yelled at by his adorable husband who he didn't dare lay a hand on. It was comical to say the least. And to make it worse, he was feeling bad and was about to become stressed out by the situation.
“Why don't we go to Bora Bora? I haven't been there and so that means I haven't been banned from there,” Mingi offered, hoping that he had just solved their problems.
And sure enough, Yunho’s eyes sparkled as he nodded.
“Yes! Let's go there! I'll make alliances with their ruler and then we can be best friends!”
Mingi smiled at the reaction, commanding the helmsman to take them to the beautiful land of Bora Bora, off they went, looking forward to being in such a magical place.
Yunho was the most ecstatic. He’d be able to swim in the clear waters and Mingi would be able to see his pretty tail clearly. He would really have to get Mingi in the water with the promise of keeping him alive if he really wanted to have fun. It wouldn't be easy with such a stubborn husband but he’d be damned if he didn't try.
Their location was somehow not that far from Bora Bora and within two days, they hit the shores, Yunho nearly throwing himself off head first once he saw the land but was held back by Mingi who told him to proceed with caution in a strange land lest he get shot.
“AHOY!” Yunho yelled once he saw people approaching the ship with weapons. “TIS I, THE KING OF GWANGJU AND I BRING PEACE AND HOPE FOR A HONEYMOON!”
“That's not how you greet them!” Mingi hissed, sitting on the ground by Yunho’s feet just in case they somehow heard of and recognized him.
“HOW DO WE KNOW YOU'RE TRUSTWORTHY?!” The people on shore yelled back, their weapons unwavering.
“I DON'T EVEN KNOW HOW TO SHOOT A GUN PROPERLY!” Yunho responded, his adorable puppy-like expressions and cheeks irresistible even to the weary coast guards.
“SURRENDER ALL WEAPONS AND YOU MAY STEP ONTO OUR LANDS!”
Mingi rose, from the ground beside Yunho, a smile on his face as he ordered the few men they had taken along to do as requested. As soon as they had done so, they stepped off the ship, Yunho bouncing over to them before remembering he was supposed to have a Kingly image as first greeting.
“Greetings. I am King Song Jeong Yunho of the Gwangju Empire. I'm simply here to have my honeymoon, if that's alright. I apologize that no arrangements were made with your ruler so I hope there won't be a problem.”
The few coast guards bowed in respect, surprising Yunho but he kept on his smile at the semi-warm welcome.
“It's alright, Your Majesty. Our Queen probably wouldn't mind anyway. She's busy with her own affairs,” One of the guards said. “If you don't mind me asking, where's your wife?”
“Oh you darling thing!” Yunho laughed. “There is no wife! I have a husband!”
The guards gasped. They had never heard of such things before. Was this King joking?
“I'm Sorry your majesty, but Husband you say? Is that even possible? We have never heard of such things before.”
Mingi wanted to groan out loud. Why had Yunho striked up a conversation when all he wanted to do was find a place to stay and sleep with his husband, in more ways than one. That was what honeymoons were for after all.
“Yes! Mingi is my husband and he's so sweet even though he looks like a giant, ruthless monster but he really isn't!”
Mingi nearly snorted. Was Yunho really saying that after watching him massacre a hoard of people just months prior? Wild.
“I’m not really sorry, but Yun and I have things to do. We’ll talk later,” Mingi interrupted right as they were about to launch off into some conversation he was not willing to listen to.
Yunho waved at them cutely, following Mingi who seemed to know where he was going. They walked for a long time until they came to a place resembling a resort where they instantly settled in after making arrangements. The first thing Yunho did was run off to the clear waters, jumping in and giggling as his long silvery tail formed into one.
“Come in Min Min! The water’s so nice!”
Mingi stayed put on shore, unmoving as Yunho beckoned him over insistently.
“Song Yunho, I am not getting into that pissy liquid.”
“Oh come on, you've been in the deep parts of the ocean and I held you and now you don't want to get into the more shallow ends? That makes no sense,” Yunho huffed, flicking his tail so water splashed against Mingi.
Mingi’s mind was a mess. If he didnt go in, he’d look like a coward and that'd ruin his big bad heartless captain reputation and that wasn't good but if he did go in, there was a higher chance he’d drown because Yunho would think that he would be able to stay upright in the water.
Finally, after staring at the male for much too long, he sighed and took off his jacket styled trenchcoat, causing Yunho to clap in glee. He couldn't believe he was getting in the water right after he had vowed several days prior that he would never after Yunho let him go for a few seconds and he nearly sank.
“I swear I will smack you if you let me go,” Mingi threatened, wading into the clear water, not going too far as he waited for his husband to get closer and hold him.
“You'd be much too scared to remember to react that way,” Yunho laughed, going over to wrap his arms around Mingi’s slim waist.
“Well as long as you don't let me go, there is no reason for me to be scared.”
Yunho smiled, swimming backwards as Mingi rested on his chest, the males legs wrapped around his tail as the sun mercilessly beat down on them. Mingi’s already tan skin became much more darker the longer they remained under the sun, amplifying the golden beauty of the male and Yunho loved it.
They swam for a while, Yunho teasingly threatening the Captain that he’d let him go and Mingi losing immense pride as he begged him not to and to hold onto him the entire time they were in the water.
“You know,” Yunho suddenly said, swimming back to shore, his tail sloshing water over them as he flicked it upward. “You ever wonder what’d be like if you killed me the moment you realized I wasn’t part of your crew?”
“Not really. I had no reason to think of that after realizing you’re literally the most perfect person I’ve ever met.”
Yunho giggled in response, hoisting themselves onto shore as his legs began shifting to his human legs. He never got used to the tingles he felt as they shifted and so he smiled as Mingi watched in amazement.
“Come on baby, let's get ready and party all night.”
And so the two got up, leaving the water as they began the first actual celebration of their three month honeymoon.
