Chapter 10

You felt yourself waking up, and your eyes fluttered open. You were frightened at first, you weren't in your room. But as your eyes adjusted you quickly realized you were just in Tim's room, laying on his bed wearing his pajamas. Tim laid next to you, his arms wrapped around you, and his head buried in your hair. Nothing happened last night, you and Masky just stayed up late talking. You felt him beginning to stir, he groaned and stretched out. You rolled away from him to give him some space. Tim opened his eyes and saw you laying there. He paused, processing that you were laying in his bed in his pajamas.

"Masky... what on earth have you done..."

"Uhhh, (y/n)...?" You turned around, and locked eyes with him. You scanned his facial features, you rolled closer to him, staring into his eyes. Tim couldn't help but become flustered, your beautiful (e/c) eyes staring him down. You had serious bedhead, your (h/l) (h/c) hair all over the place. He thought you were so cute, and he hated that.

Your blank stare turned into a warm smile, and you planted a small kiss on the tip of his nose.

"Good morning TIm~" You wrapped your eyes around him, burying your face in his chest. Tim turned beet red, his face heating up fast. This couldn't be good, what could Masky have possibly done last night that would make you act like this. He knew you were affectionate, but you were sleeping right next to him, in his pajamas! His heart dropped to his stomach.

"Did we...? oh no..." There's no way in hell Masky would be suave enough to sweep you off your feet. You weren't easy, that's for sure, Masky wasn't above being a demanding asshole when there was something he wanted, but you would tell Masky no, right? Masky probably wasn't interested in getting in your pants. Right?!

"(Y/n)... what happened last night?" You looked up at him, with a curious look in your eye.

"Oh that's right, that was Masky." You giggled, a pink blush dusted across your cheeks. This wasn't helping Tim's suspicions at all, in fact it was making him even more nervous.

"Nothing interesting, we just talked." Tim let out a sigh of relief, he silently thanked whatever higher power prevented his devious alter from banging this girl. Whatever hope he had of making you lose interest was quickly squashed, all thanks to Masky.

"What did you guys talk about?" You blushed and looked away, recollecting the night's conversation.

"Well..."

Last night:

You dug through Tim's drawer, looking for pajamas to wear. You pulled out a pear of black sweatpants and a gray t-shirt. You held the small stack of clothes in your hands, and walked over to the door. Masky laid on his bed, wearing sweatpants but no shirt.

"Where are you going?" You paused and turned to Masky, a puzzled look on your face.

"Just to the bathroom to change..." Masky chuckled.

"I see, you're too chicken to change in front of me, what, scared?" You blushed, and turned around, pouting at Masky.

"I'm not scared of you...!" That was a lie, you were scared of Masky. You didn't want to give him the satisfaction of knowing he scared the shit out of you. The last thing he needed was more of an inflated ego.

"Okay, then prove it." He smirked at you. You were falling for the oldest trick in the book, this wasn't about proving anything. All he wanted to prove was whether or not you had a cute ass. Your face was beet red, you looked like a tomato. You paused and closed the door, turning around and facing the wall. With your back turned to Masky you took off your shirt, placing it on Tim's dresser. You moved lower, taking off your jeans. Masky stared intently, dayum... dat ass though. You had a pair of (f/c) Walmart brand underwear, and a lacy black bra on.

He snuck up behind you, and picked you up from behind as you were reaching for your shirt. He wrapped both arms around your waist, and lifted you into the air. You squealed, and Masky kissed your cheek.

"Uh oh... the big scary monster got you~" Masky laughed. He put you down on the ground and quickly spun you around, tickling you. You laughed and backed up to try to get away. You tried to swat his hands away. You backed up until you hit the foot of the bed, and you fell back onto it. You laughed, as Masky climbed on top of you continuing to tickle you mercilessly.

"Stop! Stop!" Your eyes watered, and you could barely get a word in, you were laughing so hard.

"What's that? Keep going?" You squealed as Masky tickled you even harder. Masky stopped, the two of you quickly realized the compromising position you were in, and your face immediately heated up.

"Oh, what's this~?" He grinned, and looked down at you. You realized how exposed you were, and your eyes darted to look at the wall. He leaned down, grabbing your chin, forcing you to look at him.

"You're blushing, what? Do you think I'm sexy?" You laughed nervously, and your heart skipped a beat.

"I'm here, you're here, let's have some fun huh?" Masky leaned down, and kissed your jaw, and moved down to your neck. This was all happening a bit too fast for your liking, not that you weren't interested in him. This was becoming too much, what were the two of you? Questions piled up in your head, and you decided you didn't want this. You shut your eyes tight, and pushed him away. He looked at you with wide, confused eyes.

"I-I'm sorry I just-" Masky put his hand on your mouth.

"No, don't be sorry." He sat up, and laid down next to you. You immediately felt guilty, and looked away. That was totally unexpected, you liked it but at the same time you didn't. You sat up and went to put on your pajamas, doing it in the bathroom this time. He didn't object as he watched you walk through the door.

You stared at yourself in the mirror for a moment before slipping on your borrowed pair of pajamas. You splashed some cold water on your face, things got pretty intense back there. You took one more minute to collect yourself, and walked back into Masky's bedroom. You peeked around the corner, and saw Masky laying on his back in bed. You debated internally about whether or not to stay or go. You decided to stay, hoping maybe you could do some much needed damage control.

You sat down next to Masky, and he opened his eyes to look at you.

"Hey, I'm sorry about what happened back there." Masky sighed, and rolled over, laying his head in your lap. He looked up at you, still remaining blank faced.

"You don't need to be sorry, I shouldn't have been so forward, it's my fault." You smirked.

"Wow, I've gotten two apologies from you in one day, I've really done a number on you~" Masky's eyes widened, and he scowled. However his scowl didn't hide his blushing cheeks. You ran your fingers softly through his hair. He sat there scowling and blushing for what seemed like forever. You took great pride in this moment, the most dangerous serial killer in your county and you've left him speechless and red in the face. You leaned down and planted a kiss on his forehead.

"I do have a question for you though." Masky smiled, and reached up to cup your cheek in his hand.

"Ask away." You quickly looked away, butterflies in your stomach.

"What are we?"

Present Morning:

"(Y/n) that's a lot more than talking..." Tim listened intently, hanging on every detail. Masky didn't answer to anybody, he barely answered to the boss. But suddenly he was a master of consent and boundaries? No way.

Tim sat there in disbelief. You giggled, and kicked your feet. So much had changed and Tim felt like he had the wool pulled over his eyes. 24 hours ago you were petrified to have a conversation with Masky, but now the two of you shared tender, intimate, moments with each other when Tim wasn't fronting?

"So... What did he say?" You stopped, and immediately became flustered. He saw the shift in your demeanor, and how your bright and happy smile quickly fell.

"Masky told me he wasn't interested in a committed relationship." You tried your best to be understanding, but you couldn't help but be a little hurt. What were you expecting anyway? You kept letting these two get your hopes up only for them to completely shatter your expectations. You couldn't keep on like this forever.

Tim felt a lot of different emotions in that one moment. He was relieved that Masky had at least some sense, but at the same time he felt guilty. He was leading you on, both of them knew it. The two of you couldn't keep on like this forever, he needed some space from you. He kept telling himself that but he couldn't bring himself to actually go through with it. Starting today he was going cold turkey, he needed to send you away. Tim stood up, and mentally prepared himself for what he was about to do.

"I... need to tell you something." You looked at him, a warm smile on your face. He looked into your (e/c) eyes and felt a lump in his throat. He didn't want to send you away, but this was the only option he had. He sighed, and tried to look away.

"I can't let you stay with me anymore."
