Sunshine for Sunshine-4

Happy reading 🙂🙂

Faazila smiled as she walked into her workshop. The display event was going to be held in three weeks. All of her art students were going to just concentrate and finish their works. Since the display event was a very important and high profile one, the best was expected from the students. Both the juniors and seniors had filled the room. It was filled with both excited and nervous chatters.

It had been a week since Haechan had confessed his feelings to her and had asked her to be his girlfriend. To which she had gladly agreed. Even though they couldn't meet each other, they never forgot to reply to each other's texts. Even though it hadn't been long since they had started dating, she could see a future with him. A happily ever after. As dramatic and cliché as it sounded, she did it believe that it was possible. It seemed too soon to jump into conclusions, but it wasn't wrong to hope. She really hoped for them to work.

"Good morning students!" she smiled, walking in.

"Good morning Ms. Raiza" the class greeted.

"So, let's do this! Try completing your works and bring in your old works too" she said.

"Old ones? They're not worth being put up" a student spoke.

"I didn't say everything" she smiled "I was talking about the ones you all find worth. You're all amazing artists yourself. And as an artist, the first thing you need to be strong in is your confidence. If you're confident, you can do anything. For artists like us confidence is the key. And also, in the store room find some of your senior's pieces that can be put up too" she smiled.

"Now, let's get to work, shall we? We got two weeks class! Bring in what you can! Good luck!" she cheered.

That was enough to turn the workshop into a cheery atmosphere. All the students turned their attention to their easels as their wrists and fingers worked magic. Some holding on to their chalks, some taping the canvas, some of them as their fingers gracefully held onto their normal or sketching pencils and some who had started to directly use their brushes. She smiled walking to her station on top of the podium and pulled the thin white cloth off her easel. She smiled as she stared at her unfinished work. This one was her soul. Something so close to her that she wanted it to be the best of all of her works. And she knew it was going to be.

The Dream members sat in the meeting room, sipping on their coffees. They had just finished a whole morning long's practice and all they wanted to do was just relax for the day. They had also just finished recording for their new upcoming mini album early in the morning. They had to work on practicing for K-CON and all the schedules just made them want to take a vacation. It had come to the point where they all just sat in the room sipping on their coffees. Shotaro who had finished practice along with Sungchan and Yuta peeked in to smile and dab. The Japanese unit were having a comeback too.

"Tell me what we're here for" Renjun sighed.

"All I know is that we're supposed to be here" Jeno said, playing with his straw.

"Ya'll hyungs hungry?" Jisung asked.

"Yes" Chenle groaned as he spun around in his chair.

"There's this new noodle restaurant just a few blocks away. Wanna try it?" he sked.

"After we get out of this place, definitely" Chenle nodded.

"Hyung, when do we meet your girlfriend?" he asked.

"Soon" Haechan sighed "it's just been a week since we've started dating. The other women I've dated have been either from the industry or someone high profile. But, she.." he was interrupted by Jaemin.

"But she's not them or like them. We get it. Don't scare her. Don't make her feel too alone and also don't it make be something like which you spend a lot of time with her as well. She must already know how our industry works since you said that she's a Czennie. If you feel and know that she's the one, the right one, don't you dare hide anything from her. And don't you dare hurt her. Because when it's you in a relationship, you are a totally different person. Don't do that" Jaemin said. He calmly breathed out and nodded as he finished speaking.

"A true man speaking" Jisung nodded.

"Don't worry" Haechan nodded "she's not going anywhere" he smiled.

"Who is not going anywhere?" they heard a female voice from the door.

"Nuna!" Chenle called out.

"High time you remembered us" Jaemin laughed.

"Hello my dear children!" Dee smiled, walking in with big plastic bags.

"Tteokbokki? I got some rice cakes too" she smiled, walking in.

"I was starving! Thank you!" Chenle jumped.

"Y'all grown adults, but still act like the children when I first met you" she laughed.

"Can't we?" Haechan asked.

"You can" she laughed "why have you been postponing the meeting?" she asked, placing the big bags on the table.

"Why didn't you ask the staff to help you?" Jeno asked.

"Just wanted to have a moment like the old times" she smiled and the guys sulked a little too immediately.

"I don't know. I'm just nervous" Haechan sighed, deciding it was the best to bring a change in the atmosphere.

"Alright, we'll talk about that in a while. Now, just dig in" she smiled.

"Seven bags?" Jisung looked confused.

"Can't I eat with you all?" they heard another voice from the door.

The voice was more than enough to have them running to attack the person with hugs. Mark laughed as he steadied himself from all the hugs he was attacked with. He was seeing them after a year and a half. NCT had had a hectic schedule for the past two years and that made it super hard for them to get a vacation.

"What are you doing here?" Jisung asked as he was the first one to pull away.

"I moved back. We moved back here" Mark smiled as the others pulled away.

"For real?" Jeno gasped.

"Yep!" he nodded.

"If y'all are not going to eat, I'm going to eat it all" they heard Dee from the other end of the room.

The men walked back to the table and took their boxes. They laughed as they ate at their one pace. They just looked so happy. Dee could only smile watching them.

"That's why your phone was not reachable" Haechan said.

"What?" Mark asked.

"I was in Milan. So wanted to visit" he replied.

"Aah. Oh. Sorry" Mark chuckled.

"So, now that you're back, what are you going to do?" Jeno asked.

"Back to music" he smiled.

"He's signed under me! Oh, to be blessed" Dee fake sobbed, spinning around in the chair.

"Shreya?" Renjun asked.

"Same. She's under the production team. The babies are under me" she smiled.

"So cool" he shook his head.

"Nuna, how's Jieun-ie doing?" Jaemin asked.

"You both text and talk to each other a lot. Even meet quite often. Why are you asking me?" she cocked up a brow, popping a rice cake into her mouth.

"Nuna.." he pursed his lips.

"Don't think I don't know. Are you even aware of how many pictures of you both would have been out?" she scowled.

"I.. we" he couldn't say anything.

"I'm not against it. Hurt her, I will have you buried ten feet under ground" she threatened in her low tone.

"I promise, I'll not" he smiled with his right hand raised.

"Good" she gave a sharp nod.

"And Haechan how long were you going to postpone and keep Mark waiting?" she laughed.

"He was the one you were talking about?" Haechan gasped.

"Yep" she laughed even more "he contacted me the day I came to meet you guys" she said.

"So, we're having a collaboration?" he asked, his eyes wide.

"We are!" Mark laughed, throwing an arm around his shoulder.

Just as she leaned back into her chair with a smile, the door burst open, startling her and the Dreamies. She sat up right as she watched Johnny walk in with a glare and her assistant who was at the door panting. Her eyes widened as she looked at the brown paper cover in Johnny's hand.

"Hyung, what the heck?" Haechan asked annoyed.

"That startled me" Jaemin sighed.

"Hyung!" Mark smiled.

But then, seeing how angry he was, his smile dropped instantly. Did he still hate her after all these years? Even after she had left? The Dreamies looked more annoyed than frightened at the way Johnny still acted around Dee.

"Aah, hyung" Jisung pouted.

"The heck is this?" Johnny snapped as he reached her, flashing the cover at her face.

"None of your business" she sneered, snatching the cover.

"Guys, I'm leaving. See you next time" she smiled as she moved away from Johnny and walked forward.

"Running away? Again? That's what you've always done" she heard him taunt from behind.

"What did you say?" she snapped, turning back around and he turned around to face her too with a smirk.

The others just watched. They didn't even have it in them to get up and walk out. It was the first time they were seeing their Eunji nuna snap. And that too at Johnny. He had always driven her to the edge, but she had remained calm. But not today.

"You know what I'm talking about. I'm telling Jieun" he smirked.

"None of your business. Who the hell do you think you are?!" she snapped, trapping him against the wall, applying pressure at his neck.

"Oh, and Jieun knows. She knows" she smirked back, flailing the cover in between them.

Lie. It was a lie. No one knew. No one was going to.

She turned around, letting go of Johnny "bye guys!" she smiled like she wasn't angry a second ago.

She smiled wider and waved as she walked out of the room leaving behind speechless men. Right after she had left, Johnny calmly released a breath and walked to Mark who was sitting there confused.

"Welcome back Mark!" Johnny pulled him into his embrace.

"Umm.. thanks" Mark managed to speak and patted his back.

"He's not back to SM hyung, he's a part of 2(EJ) Entertainment" Chenle spoke "he's the one Haechan is going to collaborate with" he said, crossing his arms.

"You're not coming back here? To SM?" Johnny asked.

"He's not here. I'll have company now" Chenle sobbed to which Mark smiled happily.

"This place wanted me gone. No way I'm coming back. I'm glad nuna took me and Shreya in" Mark laughed, pulling away.

"You guys catch up, will meet you later Mark" Johnny said, walking out of the room.

"Haechan'a got a girlfriend" Jaemin smiled.

"Where is she from?" Mark asked.

"Sri Lanka" Haechan replied.

"Woah, our women are neighbours! This is so cool!" he cooed in excitement.

"Yep" Haechan nodded.

"Well, I hope you're settling with this one" he cocked a brow as he bit in to the rice cake.

"Jaemin's dating Jieun, he didn't even tell us. Ask him about that" Haechan complained.

"We'll talk about Jaemin later. It's you who we're focusing on" he said.

"Yes, she is the one! There's no going back" Haechan smiled.

"Good" he smiled, patting his back.

It suddenly felt stuffy. Haechan knew he had to get out. He knew that his members trusted him, but now seeing the doubt linger in their eyes, it made him a little queasy. He knew he had made some wrong decisions when it came to his relationships, even though it had been less than a handful. That was why he hadn't dated in two years. But still, when it came to girls, the members always gave him doubtful looks. Was it wrong for him to think each of them were going to be the one?

"I need me some alcohol. I'll be back" he got off his seat and walked out of the room.

A smile crept onto his lips as he walked further away from the room. He felt like he could finally breathe. And that was because the beautiful face of his sunshine struck in front of him. He was going to be a better man. The best man he could ever be. She deserved it. She deserved the best.

He walked to his car and drove to Seocho where the best floral shop was. He had to see her. It was already 3 PM and she got off work by 4 PM. By the time he'd be done buying her gifts, she'd be done with work and he could just take her out on a little drive and then home to cook her a little meal. He smiled looking at the sunflower bouquet in one hand and and a box of chocolates in the other. He wanted no one but her to trust him. To know that he was hers and would be forever. He got back in to drive to where his lady love was. He hummed a happy tune as his fingers tapped lightly on the steering wheel.

He reached and his face grew stiff. His lips pursed hard as it rested in a deep frown, forehead creased as he held the flowers and chocolates tight. The shooting of Kim So Hee's new drama was being shot just a few yards away from the school campus. Maybe they'd shoot inside the school too. Kim So Hee was his ex-girlfriend. The last one he had dated before giving up on it. And here she was smiling as she read he script, biting her lip. Great, the timing was just amazing.

"Remind me to read my horoscope from the next time I leave home" he sneered at himself.

He just decided to keep things and himself low-key and decided to just walk to the street that took course away from school. Or he should have just sat in his car and asked her to come out.

"Oppa!" he heard a voice call out from behind.

Great. Just great.

"So Hee" he smiled a tight lipped one, turning around.

"Are you here to see me? How did you know I was shooting here?" she asked as she sashayed her way to him.

"Got some business here" he replied.

"It's me right?" she grinned, poking at his bicep.

"No!" he hissed.

He didn't want to make a scene and here she was starting to get on his nerves. He could hear the shutters go off and he knew now, he was in trouble. This definitely was going to put his relationship with Faazila at stake.

"Aww! Flowers and chocolates! How sweet of you oppa" she pouted, pulling them from him. She then leaned forward to peck his cheek.

He just wanted to hit himself. Definitely all the right things had gone in the hands of the wrong person. He could nothing. All he could do was just publish an article, clarifying it all.

Faazila was just a few blocks from school campus. She had come out to buy some art supplies that she had run out on. She walked into the store and smiled as she knew she had hit home. Art was her home. It was her happiness. Everything she could ask for. She happily picked her art supplies and walked back to campus, hopping as she clutched on to them like a little child. Just as she was a foot away from campus, the sight in front of her broke her heart. She saw her boyfriend standing close to his ex-girlfriend and gift her sunflowers, her favourite and chocolates. She could hear her heart shattering for the millionth time as she watched the woman lean forward to peck his cheek. And that was when Haechan turned around to see her frozen like a statue. It took her no time to turn on her heel and run. She ran. She wanted to be far. She knelt down catching on her breath. She was no athlete.

"Faazila" she heard a voice from behind.

"Leave!" she snapped.

"I am not" she heard his calm voice.

"I told you I'm nothing like the others and still you chose to date me" she spoke with her back to him.

"You are all I want" he sighed.

"Really? Then why were you talking to her?" she snapped.

"There were so many people. And baby, I'm a public figure. There are certain things I can and can't do" he spoke softly.

"You see this?" she felt a sob makes is way through as she turned around to face him and showed her phone.

His jaw locked "do you trust me or not?" he asked, still calm.

"Can I?" she asked and that was enough to break his heart.

"Yes, you can! There is nothing between us. She's just trying to get back at me for breaking up with her. Remember this, always and forever. You are mine. My Sunshine. My one and only. You are the only one for me" he whispered, pulling her to him.

His breath fanned her face as his forehead rested against hers. She cupped his face as she looked at his fluttering lashes. There was so much honesty in his voice that she believed in him.

"I do. I trust you" she whispered "now, let's get this yuck, gross, tacky lipstick off your cheek" she chuckled, pulling away from him.

He chuckled watching her pull out her kerchief and start to wipe the lipstick off his cheek gently. A frown rested on her face as she cleaned it and then looked up with a smile after she was done. He smiled back and brought his lips to kiss her forehead deep. He couldn't help but pull her into a big hug as he felt a huge weight lift off of his chest. She had given him another chance. He was going to prove it that he was worth it all.
