Epilogue
*Ty's point of view*
It was dark. Very, very dark, and incredibly suffocating. I tried to sit up, but my head hit something hard and wooden, so I quickly laid back down into what felt like a silk padded bed. I banged on whatever was above me with my fists, trying to get out. I was scared, and confused, and I just wanted someone to tell me what was going on.
"Hello?" I called out, my voice cracking, and sounding raspy. "Someone help me!"
I punched, and kicked the thing above me, until it eventually collapsed on top of me, along with a truckload of dirt. I immediately began to dig up through the dirt, gaining some idea of what had happened. I think I was buried, but I wasn't sure if I was alive when I was.
The last thing I remembered was Pip holding a gun to my head, and him pulling the trigger, then everything was black and I wasn't there anymore. But then I was. It wasn't like waking up, or anything it like, it was more like simply just...existing. I didn't know how to describe it, but I did my best. All I knew is that I was dead, and then I was alive.
I broke through the surface, and was so relieved to pull myself out of my own grave. I crawled all the way out of the ground, and stood up, dusting the dirt off of my -dress? I was absolutely disgusted to be wearing a blue sparkly dress, with black flats, lacy white socks, and a diamond necklace and earrings. I don't know who picked the outfit, but I hoped at least someone made them pay for it.
I sighed, and began to walk away, seeing if I could find my way to Steven's house. I figured if anyone was going to be able to figure out why I was suddenly alive again, it was two geniuses and a kickass man with superhero training. Eventually, I was able to make it to Steven's house, and I was relieved to find some of the lights still on. I had no clue what time it was, but it was dark out, so I knew there was a chance that everyone was asleep.
I almost opened the front door and walked right in, but then I decided against it, figuring no one would appreciate a corpse just walking into their house. So I rang the doorbell instead. I waited for a moment, and then the door opened, and Warren in all his glory was standing in the doorway, looking down at me like he didn't believe I was really there. I couldn't really blame him.
Warren was the first living person I had seen since I crawled out of my grave, and I was honestly really relieved to see such a familiar face. Like I said before, I was scared and confused. I opened my mouth, and was about to say something sweet and sappy, when a breeze picked up, and I shivered, crossing my arms around myself.
"Who the fuck decided to bury me in a dress?" I asked a bit angrily instead.
Warren just gaped, opening and closing his mouth multiple times before eventually, collapsing against the door, holding onto it as if to keep himself from falling over. Warren looked pale, and shaken, which was understandable, but I really wished he would just do something already.
"Can I come in?" I asked eventually, and Warren seemed to snap out of his shock. Warren grabbed onto one of my arms, and yanked me roughly inside, shutting the door shut behind me.
