JAEMIN

"He knows what he's doing." I said. "He's probably going to sell these pictures to the media to get the blame off of him."

"Now what?" Haeun asked.

"I have an idea...but I honestly don't know how you'd react to it." I sighed.

"What is it?" She asked.

"We make our relationship public." I mumbled.

"What?" She blinked. "I didn't hear you."

"We make our relationship public." I said.

"We can't do that." She said. "You saw what happens with idols who date, right?"

I nodded. "But...I can't see you like this, Haeun."

"See me like what?" She chuckled.

"Can't you see?" I sighed. "You're miserable. And you will be till Max is in your life."

"Let's go inside my office to discuss." She said.

We walked inside the building and I followed her to her office.

"Haeun, love..." I sighed, closing the door behind me. "You're really getting affected by all of this bullshit."

"I'm fine." She said, cupping my cheek.

"You say you're fine but I can see that you're not." I said. "And I can't be fine knowing that you're not fine."

"But, Jaem, the problem won't be solved even after we make our relationship public." She said.

I sighed and nodded. "You're right."

She smiled softly, before pulling me into a hug. I wrapped my arms around her waist, and buried my face into her neck, taking in her scent.

"Though...I think we should take some advice from the others as well." She said.

I kissed her neck.

"From the others? You mean...the members?" I asked.

"Mhm." She muttered.

I looked up at her and nodded. "Alright, let's do that."

"Tell them to come over at my apartment for dinner tonight, will you?" She asked, caressing my cheek.

"Okay." I smiled softly, before leaning in to kiss her.

There was a knock on the door, making her push me away.

"Come in." She said.

The door opened and Donghyuck walked in.

"Oh, it's you." Jaemin said.

"Did I interrupt something?" Donghyuck smiled.

"No." I said. "Did something happen?"

He shrugged, "You might want to check Max's account on every social media platform."

"No..." Jaemin slapped a hand to his mouth.

I checked my phone and searched for his KakaoTalk account. I thought he had leaked the videos.

This account has been suspended and is scheduled for deletion.

"What?" I let out a breathy chuckle.

Jaemin looked for Max's Instagram account, his Twitter account. It could not be found.

"How did this happen?" I asked. "How did you get to know about this?"

"Did the police come?" Jaemin asked.

"Nope." Donghyuck shook his head. "My gut feeling told me to check his accounts. So I did and voila!"

"You had Max's KakaoTalk?" I asked.

Donghyuck nodded, "He had tried to contact me once but I had blocked him."

"Oh, my God." Jaemin pulled me into a hug. "Everything is settling down."

"What about our pictures?" I asked.

"Fuck the pictures, I don't care anymore." He smiled. "As long as you're okay, nothing really matters."
