JAEMIN

"Special?" Donghyuck scoffed. "She's always been dumb so I have to take care of her."

I raised my brows. "She's pretty though."

Donghyuck looked at me suspiciously, "Pretty?"

"Yeah. Too pretty for you." I snickered.

"Fuck off." Donghyuck plucked some grass and threw it at me.

HAEUN

I had just finished setting up her apartment. It was close to the company building.

I hated travelling long distances just to spend a few hours there and travel back.

I was just setting up the kitchen when I heard my phone ring.

I saw that it was Donghyuck so I picked it up.

"What do you want?" I asked.

"Man, can't I just call to catch up with you?" He sighed.

"Right." I playfully rolled her eyes.

"So, I was thinking..." He started, "You've met Jaemin."

"Mhm...?" I hummed.

"So why don't I introduce you to the others as well. Before you start working that is..." He said.

"Sure, I start next week." I said. "So whenever you guys are free."

"How does Saturday sound?" He asked.

"That works for me. How about y'all come over to my place? That way I'll have a housewarming party as well." I said.

"Alright, done." He said.

The next morning, I was at the grocery store, buying some kitchen and bathroom supplies.

I was grabbing some chocolates as well, when I heard someone call my name out.

I turned around to see a man approaching me.

"Jaemin...?" I smiled softly.

Jaemin came and stood in front of me. He pushed his glasses back up and smiled back at her.

"What are you doing here?" I asked.

He chuckled and bent down to match my eye level, "What do people do in a grocery store?"

"Right." I smiled. "Well, um, it was nice to see you again."

"You too." He stood back upright. "Did you bring your car?"

"I...don't have a car. Why?" I asked.

"How are you going to take all that home?" He asked, looking at my already full trolley.

"Oh, don't worry about it. I can carry it." I laughed it off.

He raised his brow. "Alright."

"Alright." I smiled, repeating the word.

Some time later, I paid all the money for my grocery, and I had two huge bags of every grocery item.

I was sort of struggling with the bags, because they were too heavy. Moreover, it had started raining so I had to hold my umbrella with one hand as well.

Jaemin had probably noticed this and he walked up to me, and took a bag from my hands.

"What are you doing?" I asked.

"Please, just let me help you." He chuckled. "I was going to ask you to let me walk you home anyway."

I let go of the bag which he had grabbed, "Thank you so much."

He just smiled and as we left the store, and he grabbed the umbrella.

"Let me." He said.

I chuckled, "You're exactly like how Donghyuck described you."

"Is that supposed to be a good thing or a bad thing?" He asked.
