I ran my fingers through my hair, as I kept replaying the phone call in my mind.

"Don't forget I have a lot of stuff about you and if I leak them, each one of your little friends will lose their respect for you."

I loved my life. Max cheating on me wasn't enough but now he has to blackmail me too?

My phone notification went off and I thought it was Max blackmailing me again but a sense of comfort washed over me when I saw that it was Jaemin who texted me.

I put my phone away and realised that I was now grinning from ear to ear. My smile dropped as I started packing up everything.

I started leaving when I bumped into Donghyuck in the lobby area.

"Going home?" He asked, stopping right in front of me.

"Yeah." I nodded, poking his cheek.

"Be safe." He smiled softly. "You look tired."

I nodded slowly, "I am. It was an exhausting day."

He opened his arms, "Come here."

I giggled, and wrapped my arms around him, as he pulled me into a tight hug. Donghyuck gave some of the best hugs for sure, but today, when Jaemin hugged me, it felt different.

"Go home and take some rest, okay?" He said. "Did you have dinner?"

I nodded, and patted his back. "Bye, I'll go now. Don't overwork yourself."

"You too." He smiled as I walked out of the building.

On my way home, I just hoped I didn't run into Max again. Looking at his face ruined my day.

I decided to think about the things that made me happy today. Going out for sushi with Jaemin, having deep talks with Jaemin and just Jaemin in general.

I finally got to my apartment and locked all the doors and windows and that's when I realised I was sort of holding my breath for that long. I let out a sigh of relief and then I got a text from Jaemin again.

With that, I put my phone back down and freshened up and got into bed.

The next morning I woke up in a good mood. That's just what a good night's sleep does to you.

I got up and walked to the front door to pick the mail, and was greeted by a bouquet of white tulips and white baby's breath flowers.
