Chapter 6 : Give Up.

Patton clung to the bottle of painkillers.

He was in the boys bathroom during second period, school was the only place he felt even the slither of happiness and if was going to die, he would die in a semi happy place.

He stared at himself in the mirror, his eyes red and his cheeks stained with salty tears, he had been like this for the last thirty minutes, the lid was off the bottle.

'Just one gulp... that's all.' He thought, shaking.

Patton knew if he didn't do this, he'd be miserable and nothing would make him happy.

Realising this seemed to urge him on.

'One, two...' On three, he placed the bottle to his mouth and tipped his head back, the painkillers falling into his mouth as by his logic, the painkillers will stop the pain.

"Wait!"

Patton spun around, he hadn't swallowed them yet and there in front of him was the boy with a blue tie, the boy who liked stars.
