High school.

A place of hell and torment for most students, full of peer pressure and raging hormones, with a dose of stress.

Love them or hate them.

Patton was a high schooler, he wasn't popular, but he knew everyone. He wasn't sad, nor was he in hell like most students, he had no power but also wasn't bullied.

He was the sunflower in the school, everyone loved Patton. Anytime he walked past someone and sent them a smile, which to be fair was all the time, they'd smile back, feeling warmer and happier.

He was the sunflower in the field of weeds, he was the yellow happiness in a dark, monochrome world.

Patton smiled and did his best, even if he was failing some, the teachers didn't mind since Patton was so darn happy and always offered help, which Patton always readily took.

Patton Hart was a sunflower to everyone, everyone but himself.
