Today we interview feufeu15, winner of The Sunflower Awards 3.0 in the romance genre. Join us as we learn more about their writing style and inspiration.

1. What inspired you to write Love Bug? 

Well, various things inspired me, but the main idea came from the tv show Married at first sight, and then my imagination has done the rest :)

2. What do you like about writing romance? 

LOVE!! I'm a lover of love and hopeless romantic, so I love to write this special connection, and also, knowing that it can make people believe in love is a beautiful motivation. 

3. How did you feel when you found out you won in your genre for the Sunflower Awards? 

It melted my heart! I'm so honored to have won when I see all these beautiful books I was in competition with, and it makes me so happy because this story is really close to my heart! I guess it's the same feeling as a proud mama seeing her babies win a match or gym competition lol!

4. Do you have any advice for other writers? 

WRITE! I think it's the best advice! Practice makes perfect, so start writing, and that's how you'll get better! Never be afraid to try anything, it's often the scenes or chapters that make us nervous that come out as the favorite after. Also, read! It's as important as writing to get better, and learn from other writers, while staying unique and keeping your style, of course!

5. Who is your favorite character in your story and why? 

I CAN'T CHOOSE!!! Like I said, they're like my babies, so a mama can't choose! I love Nate because he's adorable, sweet and so hot ;) But I also love Ana because she's determined and so strong! And I love all my side characters too (Hadi and Darrell are my fav because they're so unapologetically themselves, but shhh!)

6. What three words best describe your story? 

Steamy, futuristic, and forbidden! And above all: ROMANCE!!! *insert heart eyes emoji*

7. What is your favorite story on Wattpad? 

Currently, it's a fan fiction called STALL (I'm obsessed!)

8. What does your writing process look like? 

Well, first I come up with an idea, it keep spinning in my head for weeks or months, where I think about the plots, the characters, various scenes, and of course, the ending. And then, I start writing it. I try to write everyday a little. The first draft is on a messy notebook, and then I type it on my laptop, then, the less fun part: editing, and finally, I post the chapter on Wattpad :)

9. Where is your favorite place to write? 

My favorite place to write is a beautiful patio in Italy in front of the sea, but that's only during my vacations (once a year). So otherwise, it's anywhere quiet and alone in my house (generally, my bed, the kitchen or the living room) 

10. How long have you been writing and why did you start? 

Well, I've also written, but it was more lyrics and poems. I really started writing a story, 2 years and a half ago because my mom kept encouraging me to do it, saying I was talented. She's surely not really objective, but I'm glad I listened to her because I found my passion! It was also because I wanted to write a romance exactly like I wanted: with no toxic relationship (which are still too often glamorized), some steaminess and lots of cuteness. I would have never expected that I would find so much more: my passion, but also amazing people, some that I can now call friends <3
