Rules

Now for the rules for judges!

- Do not accept any form of bribery or cheat the system in any way. This is just a fun competition on Wattpad, no need to allow cheating. If a contestant does come to you with a bribe, turn them down and inform us immediately.

- You must have judging/reviewing experience. Reviewing experience is preferred-we'd like it if you'd written some sort of review before-but we will accept any form of Wattpad judging experience.

- You must follow this account and add this book to your library so you get all necessary updates and announcements.

- All judges must write reviews for every book entered, at least two sentences per judging category with eight categories total (minimum 16 sentences for each review). We will ask you to redo or add onto them if they aren't sufficient, so please make sure you understand this. Your password is a word starting with the letter "S". For the judging categories, check out the Judging Criteria chapter.

- You have to read five chapters of each story, but you will be given at least a month to complete this task.

- Please send us all contestants who haven't followed you a week after judging has started. If you find out any have unfollowed you at any time, let us know. They are required to follow you permanently, and an unfollow will result in a disqualification. However, we won't know if they unfollow if you don't tell us.

- You can judge if you're entered as a contestant, so long as you're judging a different genre.

- We will send you weekly PMs that you need to reply to. We want to make sure you're staying on top of judging, and this way you're more likely to let us know if you're unavailable to judge ASAP. We did this for our last awards and it worked really well. If we go two weeks without a response from you, we will look for another judge.

- You must be okay with LGBTQ+ and Mature content. You will probably have to read both, which is why it's necessary you're okay with both.

Have fun! We know what we're asking, which is why contestants need to follow you and we'll promote one of your books after you've finished judging. We hope throughout this process that you'll read some cool books, get to know some great people, and improve your reviewing skill. Judging should be a fun, rewarding experience.
