Each generation, a blue moon rises on the last day of December, and the next werewolf Alpha is born into the Cypress Pass Pack. But, this generation, on December's Moon, three children are born instead of one. The elders decide that when the children come of age, a tournament shall be held to determine the new leader, testing them in the three pillars of the Pack -- strength, spirit, and strategy.

Now, the three young werewolves are attending Cypress Pass Academy, preparing for the tournament. However, when students go missing around campus and other strange occurrences happen in the outskirts of the Packlands, it's clear a threat greater than any faced in decades is present, and things more important than the title of leader are at stake. If the three young werewolves can't band together to fight back, they stand to lose everything their Pack has built over the centuries to a danger they can't see.
