"You're crazy!"
     "Stop being so delusional."
    "That cat is only a kit. It's not proper to put such responsibility on it, Stormstar."
     "Leave it alone!"
     "Cut it out, all of you!"
    
     The cats all stop their meowing and turn their heads.
    
     A jet black tom is standing over the pool of water beneath him and gazing at the cat he sees inside of it. "It is a kit, Stormstar," the tom says. He leaps over the pool and slowly walks to a gray tom. "Ah, yes. Seems like kits are the new warriors now, am I right?" the tom hisses softly. "You are very smart," he adds sarcastically.
    
     Stormstar shoves his muzzle at the black tom's face. "Stay out of it, Dune. This is Clan business." Dune smiles, revealing sharp teeth. He laughs. "Oh, my friend, do you not remember the time we spent together as apprentices? The hunts we went on, the battles we fought..." Dune suddenly purrs. "I do."

     "Well, now I'm dead because of you. But we'll deal with this later." Dune hisses. Stormstar shifts uneasily as Dune approaches him and the other StarClan cats.

     Stormstar started to back away. "Remember, this is Clan business! You're a Dark Forest cat now."

     "I cannot trust you anymore after what you've done. Leave."
    
     Dune dipped his head respectively and turned to walk away. "We will meet again."

       "Wait," Dune whispers, and suddenly he turns around. His amber eyes are glowing much lighter now. "I have a prophecy for this kit of yours."

    
          "Darkness with slash through the air like a badger's claw, and only the rising sun will be able to shine a path of light through it."

     Stormstar blinked. "Thank you, Dune."

     Dune bounded off into the woods, leaving black footprints.

     Stormstar addressed the gathering cats. "Anyway..."

     The cats just blinked. One blurted out in the silence, "Is that kit still going to be the one?"

     Stormstar poked the ground beneath him with his claws. "Yes. This young cat is important. I wouldn't say special yet. But this cat, when it gets older, will be very useful when the time is right."

     "When the time comes.

Alright my precious warrior fans! That was my first real part of the story... please keep in mind that chapters will be way longer than this! Way. Sorry this was so short!
