"No! Please, no!" Arie was kicking the air as Namjoon pinned her hands to her chest, trying to hold her down. "Baby, calm down, please, it's just me, shhh" he whispered in her ear, but she was tossing her head and screaming frantically.

"Ari, for God's sake, baby, calm down, please, listen to me!" Namjoon growled commandingly and squeezed her, nearly knocking her breath out. Ari squealed, jumping up and down, she threw her legs in the air again and Namjoon almost let her fall.

"Damn it!" Namjoon roared and quickly but carefully releasing one hand, holding her wrists with the other, he turned her towards him and cupped her face, cupping her cheeks.

Her eyes locked into his hysterically and Namjoon realized she didn't recognize him at all, Ari had no idea she was fighting him. “Hyun Ari, calm down!” Namjoon yelled in her face and she froze.

"Listen to me, baby" Namjoon began softly, relaxing his arm around her waist slightly. "Honey, I want you to tell me, do you know who I am?" he asked and she cocked her head slightly to one side, still looking him straight in the eyes.

"At least she's listening" Namjoon thought. "It's me, baby, Namjoon" he smiled slightly and she cocked her head to the other side. "Namjoon?" Ari repeated, seeming to swallow his name.

"That's right, my love, your Namjoon" he whispered and rested his forehead against hers, cupping her face in both hands. "Hear me, baby, listen carefully, will you?" Namjoon asked and she blinked in confusion.

"Namjoon?" Ari asked and he pulled back slightly, her eyes roaming his face, her hands caressing his cheeks, eyes, nose and lips as if she was trying to physically memorize his features. "My Namjoon…" Ari sobbed, tears streaming down her cheeks.

"It's okay, baby…" he began, but Ari jerked out of his arms, stepping back. Her face contorted in fear. "No… She won't let it… You love her…" Ari screamed and Namjoon bit his lip.

If he didn't tame her as quickly as possible, Ari could hurt herself or their child, and he couldn't allow either. "Baby, listen to me, you need to calm down!" Namjoon stepped towards her insistently.

Ari began to back away sideways, following the kitchen counter. Her eyes followed his every move, but in her mind, it wasn't Namjoon, she saw two hazel eyes accusing her, screaming at her for stealing other people's husbands.

"Please... I love him... I love them both.." Ari begged as the ghost of the woman who accused her slowly walked towards her, eyes glowing evilly, enveloping her, cursing her.

"Please….Binna….I promise…I'd never hurt them…" Ari screamed desperately, trying to catch her breath. "Please….let me love him!" she cried and fell to her knees, burying her face in her hands as Binna's ghost approached her with a sinister look.

"Binna…?" Namjoon froze in shock. Is that what she was seeing? The nightmare that haunted her wasn't Hwan as he thought, was it Binna? Ari was at war with the ghost of his dead wife?

"God, baby…" his eyes watered and a lump got stuck in his throat. That's why she wanted to be with them in Binna's memorial, she wanted to ask his dead wife for permission to love him.

But she was scared and in her mind, because she had not received the requested permission, Binna was chasing her. All this time, Namjoon has been terribly far from solving their problem.

Ari didn't need proof that he loved her, she didn't need anything more than to make sure that she wasn't standing between him and his dead wife in any way.

So he should have just put her in a situation where she is face to face with Binna! Namjoon stood up and walked over to Ari, grabbing her shoulders as she writhed and screamed in his arms.

"We're going home baby, it's time to face your greatest fear and conquer it!" Namjoon growled and scooped her up in his arms, holding her close. He placed her on the bed, pressing his body against her as he reached down and picked up the silken ropes lying on the headboard, hoping he had to tie her up one last time.

"Look at her, Ari!" Namjoon yelled, pressing Ari's back against his chest as he held her face so she was looking straight into the eyes of the picture in front of them.

"Look, baby, take a good look at her. She doesn't blame you, she never did Ari. She chose you, Binna was the one who made me promise to love you to the grave, to keep living for you , because of us!" Namjoon whispered in her ear as he struggled to hold her still.

"No…please…" Ari wailed, still trying to struggle, to untie her wrists, to escape. "No, baby, it's time for you to know the truth, how and why I love you" she slid down his body and he fell to his knees with her.

"Ever since you came into our lives, every day, I've seen her in my dreams, heard her…" Namjoon began. "Kim Binna, the only woman I've ever loved, Izeul's mother, the one who showed me what strength is, how to fight, but also what love is" Namjoon felt Ari's struggle slowly weaken and let go of her face, to wrap both arms around her, hiding his face in her neck.

"I fought too, baby, every day, every time I looked at you, when your touch burned my body, when I craved your kisses" Namjoon whispered in her ear as Arie calmed down more and more.

"I fought, because I felt guilty, just like you now, I thought I was betraying her, that I was betraying our love, but Binna proved me wrong, that it wasn't fair to me, Izeul, and you." he rested his chin on her shoulder, looking at her profile as Ari stared at Binna's picture in silence.

"It took her weeks to convince me that she was just the beginning for me. That I should fulfill her last wish." he sighed, remembering the moment when Binna, dying, had made him promise to love again.

"Kim Binna chose you for me, Hyun Arie. Only you, out of all the others. Because she already knew your heart, she knew that no one else would love Izeul the way you do" Namjoon turned her slightly and made her look at him .

He raised his hands and wiped away her tears, looking into her clouded eyes, he leaned down and kissed her gently. "She pushed me into your arms, she convinced me that you are the only one, my true love, the only one who can bring back my happiness!" Ari closed her eyes, her chin quivering and her tears welling up with renewed vigor.

"Look at her, Ari, she's smiling" Namjoon continued and Ari opened her eyes, turning to Binna's tombstone. “She gave us her blessing, baby, a long time ago” Namjoon made her look at him again.

"And now" he touched her stomach softly and Ari looked down, brow furrowing. "Now she's with us and our love more than ever, honey" he smiled and she looked at him confused.

Namjoon smiled even wider as Ari looked at his hand again, then at him, and finally at the picture of Binna.

Ari's foggy mind was trying to see through the diaper and make sense of the words she was hearing. Binna was smiling at her happily, something she didn't think she would ever see. There was no accusation in her eyes, no hatred, just pure, calm joy and a soft smile.

"She loves you, Ari, she would never come between us, baby" Namjoon assured her and Ari sighed looking at him. "Namjoon?" he looked at her hopefully, for the first time in days, Ari was addressing him directly and seemed to see and hear him.

"I'm tired and I want to go home" Ari cried and Namjoon leaned in kissing her. "Anything you want, my love!" he smiled and helped her to her feet. But before they left for the car, Ari turned back to Binna's grave.

"Honey?" Namjoon worriedly squeezed her shoulders, but she pushed his hands away, straightening her back. With her arms at her side, Hyun Ari made a full respectful bow to Kim Binna. "I'm sorry for being so selfish, I promise from now on, I'll take care of both of them properly and never leave them again!" Arie swore softly and Namjoon smirked proudly before she turned to him again and they walked to the car.

"We have to go through the pharmacy before we go home and I want Izeul to sleep with us tonight" Ari slumped tiredly in his arms and Namjoon nodded wrapping his arms around her waist, caressing her belly gently.

Once alone, Ari hurried to take the pregnancy test she and Namjoon had taken on the way to the mansion. As she waited in the bathroom, pacing nervously back and forth, Namjoon was leaning against the doorframe, smiling.

"Is there anything funny?" her nervous voice shook and Namjoon shook his head, reaching for her. "It's going to be alright, baby" he hugged her tightly and kissed her temple.

"You, me, Izeul and the baby, we'll all be fine." Namjoon said quietly and confidently and she glared at him. "How are you even sure I'm pregnant?" she mumbled and Namjoon raised an eyebrow.

"Would you like some bacon?" Namjoon smirked and Arie made a face, feeling sick just thinking about the bacon. "Besides…" Namjoon spun around slightly and picked up the test. "Two lines, baby" she looked down at his hand and her eyes filled with tears.

"I'm pregnant?!" Ari whispered and looked at him, biting her lip. "God, Namjoon, we're having a baby…" he nodded with a smile. "I told you!" he smirked proudly, but his smile quickly faded.

Ari suddenly turned pale and began to breathe heavily, almost choking. "Ba..by…" she whispered breathlessly and Namjoon held her tightly. "Honey, breathe!" he picked her up and carried her to the bed.

Panic taking over her again, Ari shivered, feeling cold waves crawl up her spine. "I'm.. going to.. have a.. baby…" she kept whispering breathlessly, clinging to Namjoon.

"Honey, look at me, calm down, please!" Namjoon also began to panic, thinking she had gotten over the trauma. "Breathe, my love, think of the baby!" he laid down next to her and she snuggled against his chest.

Ari continued to shake, sobbing sniffily as she desperately fought the fit. “Come on, baby, look…” Namjoon took her hand and placed it over his heart. "Breathe with me, baby, slow and steady" she looked at their hands, felt his heart and breathing under her fingers, his soft even voice and forced herself to follow his rhythm.

"Namjoon…" she looked up at him, her eyes darting between his. "We're having a baby!" she whispered and he nodded, trying to smile. "That's right, my love, is that why you have to fight, for our baby?" she nodded, breathing in sync with him.

"Well done, baby, you're doing great" Namjoon praised her a little comfortingly as her vision began to clear and her eyes sparkled again.

"Do you mind if we call Izeul, I know it's late but I need her too" Ari asked in a whisper. "Of course we can, she'll be sleeping with us, I'm sure she can't wait to kick us all night" he joked, but inside he was dying of fear.

He was afraid that he might be wrong, that maybe he wasn't enough to help her, that it wasn't enough to just love her and fight for her. This bout may have been mild, but if the next one brought her to the same state she had just shaken off, then what??
