Chapter 1
Phoenix flew as fast as she could towards the her new school. I can't wait for this!! She flew faster when she saw tips of the mountain getting closer. Phoenix had been waiting for this day for as long as she could remember. To meet other dragonets of all different types of species and to be one of the first generations to unite with other tribes? Who wouldn't want to do that? She slowed her pace down as she saw the mountain. Small, colorful dots of other dragons swarmed around the mountain. Once she landed a buzz of thoughts from all the dragons around her started flooding in. She could hardly think with all the 'noise'. She thought of the rainforest and the leaves. 'Putting' the thoughts on the leaves as they floated gracefully down to the the ground.  Her mother and father sat next to her as her brain rested from the migraine of thoughts that she had stopped. "Mom, next time can you tell me that there were a lot of dragons?

Their thoughts ALMOST killed me."
Moon wrapped her wing around Phoenix, with a stressed look on her face. Probably getting used to the noise, Phoenix suspected. "Oh, sorry Phoenix. I guess I thought dragons would stop sending their dragonets here because of-" Moon stopped abruptly. Both of them could sense two cold minds coming up to them.

"BLIZZARD!" Phoenix pounced on the icewing, knocking him over. "I missed you!! I can't believe you missed coming on my hatching day." He got half up "If you're lucky YOU might have not crushed your hatching day gift." Phoenix got off him as he started to look through his pouches. "Here" He exclaimed as he handed over a beautiful golf bracelet. It had golden vines tangling around her wrist, in the middle was a perfectly round Moonstone. Phoenix gasped at its beauty. "Thank you, thank you, thank you!!" She hugged him tightly.
Blizzard waved his talon at her pretending to not care even though he was happy that she liked it.

Winter and Qibli were having a quiet stare down. Phoenix was glad that they didn't start arguing. Last time they were together Winter and Qibli almost fought when Winter asked if Qibli was even strong enough to defend himself from
danger when Phoenix almost killed herself from a bunch of whimsy scavengers.

Blizzard snapped her out of it. "Hey" he nudged her side. "Come on, let's go inside" Blizzard and her walked toward the front of the grand school. Phoenix couldn't wait for this!
