~ Important Author's Note (Pls Read) ~
Ok so basically this oneshot is honestly just a cute little thing I decided to make of Luna taking care of Moon while he's sick.

What basically inspired this idea is the fact that Sun on the very first stream SAMS ever did said Moon couldn't make it to that one because he was sick (aka Reed actually got sick so he couldn't make it) however that's beside the point. The point of this is how I like to believe Moon got sick in the first place. And what Luna was doing to take care of Moon.

Basically how I like to believe Moon got sick (that isn't breaking the 4th wall) so he couldn't make it to stream is that he was working on stuff in his lab. You know, doing his casual scientist Moon things then accidentally made a mistake on the thing he was working on. This was because of not paying extra careful attention to what he was working on (because it is confirmed SAMS Moon canonically has ADHD so that kicked in for a second) and he accidentally made a minor virus instead of the original code that was suppose to be made. Yet even though it was a minor virus, Moon being the stubborn and very hyper fixated on work way he is tried to immediately fix his mistake only to get stupidly infected by his own accidentally created virus due to being essentially a computer himself. Thus making him sick.

So it's basically like the video where Sun got sick by accidentally getting a virus by online shopping off the wrong side of the internet (as a way to excuse Davis actually being sick with a bad cough which was at the time a few months ago). Only instead of it being Sun stupidly shopping on the wrong side of internet it's Moon who stupidly infected himself with his own accidental virus he made.

Other than that, this oneshot is also just an excuse for me to write more sweet couple moments between Moon and Luna.

~ Moon's POV ~

It was another day in my lab and I was carefully working on a new device I decided to build. However after hours of working on this for a while my ADHD kicked in and I got sidetracked and distracted thus unintentionally doing something else for a little while.

I was actually quite distracted that I didn't even realize I put in the wrong inputs and codes into the new device I was originally making in the first place. That's when shit hit the fan.

Once I realized I got distracted from the original thing I was working on, which was more than half way finished I hopped back on to it to finish it. That's when I saw the wrong inputs and codes I accidentally put in and they were messing up the whole thing.

So being the way I am I immediately jumped on that and got annoyed over the fact I had to completely restart and wipe its systems to clean it.

Yet while I was doing that I felt some weird sensation suddenly course through my entire body. It was like a weird tingle sensation making me think "Huh, that's odd. Why do I feel like this? This didn't happen before when I was working on this originally."

It then got a little worse to the point I had to stop for a second thinking to myself "Woah, ok... that's not right. That doesn't feel right at all."

What I basically felt was little bit of an electrified zap that suddenly hit me. Yet I shook it off thinking I just got a minor electrical shock which isn't anything new I've felt when working with technology as it's happened many times before.

This was honestly just the territory that comes with being a scientist and tech guy. So because of that I continued on my merry way to fix my mistakes and wiping the systems of the device I was working on to clean it out.

However as the time passed I suddenly started to feel achy with a mild sore throat but I didn't think much of it. I stopped for a second and massaged the achy back of my neck close to the start of my back with a groan then continued fixing my mistakes. Yet as I got further and further into it I started feeling worse and worse.

I started to feel tired and completely drained with more body aches, chills, a sore throat, congestion, a minor cough, and even a little lightheaded dizziness like my body was trying to fight something off. In short I mainly had flu-like symptoms.

Curious as to why I suddenly felt ill I decided to stop what I was working on and check my own systems. So I hooked up to my computer and started looking over my system.

That's when I saw I had a virus making me say aloud "Huh, that's odd. Where did this come from? I don't remember doing anything or working with anything that could give me a virus like this."

That's when I further delved into the pieces of the virus to see if it could give me an answer as to how I got it. What I read shocked me then pissed me off. It was the same virus that I accidentally made in the device I was working on due to accidentally putting in wrong codes and inputs when I was distracted.

That's when it clicked as to how I got it. I pulled a stupid and tried to fix my infected device that was infected by my own doing. That since I'm an an animatronic I caught it too.

When I realized that I just shouted "Goddamnit! Fucking GODDAMNIT MOON!! Stupid! You're Such A Stupid Idiot!!" I then growled as my pissed off self. Pissed off for both getting sick by my own stupid hand and that I now had to immediately clean out my now infected computer too.

So I tried to calm myself down and fixed my infected computer. Luckily it wasn't too corrupted.

After finishing that I still pushed through now being sick to see if I could fix what originally had the virus. I mean I was already infected so what more harm could it do.

However, while working I started feeling even worse than I already was to the point of actually feeling like I was going to pass out. That's when I just placed my hands on the desk leaning against it and shut my eyes.

While doing this I thought to myself "Mm... it made its way to my battery too." I could tell that it did because I'm exhausted as well as lower on battery than I previously was. I was also on power conservation mode which makes everything run a hell lot slower in the body.

That's when I thought "I should honestly just go home. As much as I want to I physically can't work like this. I'll only make myself worse by pushing through it and continuing to work."

Heck I even had a migraine now too. Though I know the migraine was nothing to do with the virus itself. It is literally just a stress migraine as well as the fact of overworking myself and being way too hyper focused on one thing for such an extended period of time with no breaks.

Realizing that made me realize Luna was right. As much as I constantly turn it down and refuse to accept it, I in reality truly am just the family's overworked dad who works to much by his own pure choice but never gets a break from anything.

So with that I stop procrastinating and closed up the lab. I then set a portal down as a way to get back to the house. Once at the house I had that feeling of "God I hope Luna is home" while I walked through the front door. I only felt this way mainly because I for once actually wanted Luna to take care of me like a mom when I'm usually really stubborn about that.

Once in the house I call out to my beloved Starlight.

Moon: "Luna."

I got no answer so I called again.

Moon: "Starlight!"

I still got no answer so I call even louder

Moon: "Goddamnit. LUNA!!"

However, calling out to her like that made me cough a little. I was lucky the cough wasn't bad because it subsided a little yet but still caused me to groan afterwards. That's when I hear her and see her come out of our bedroom.

Glamrock Luna: "Moon?"

Moon: "Yeah, I'm home and in the main entrance Starlight."

That's when I hear her response.

Glamrock Luna: "Huh, you're home from your lab way earlier than usual. Not that I'm complaining it's just that you usally don't come in until like 3 or 4am at latest. It's barely 4pm."

Moon: "Yeah... shit happened."

When I said that I see her exit our bedroom and start walking over to me until she was pretty close to me.

Glamrock Luna: "Now that you mentioned that... you do sound congested and like you don't feel well. Heck now that I'm seeing you closer, you look it too Moony."

Moon: "Heh, that's because I am. I'm not feeling the greatest right now. In fact I currently feel pretty shitty."

When I said that I see Luna's face turn into a sweet concerned but also sorry look as she places one of her hands on my cheek. Her touch was warm and comforting. It felt good with how I was feeling cold. So because of that as well as just the way I felt as a whole in general, I lean even more into her touch closing my eyes too.

Glamrock Luna: "Shit. You're more accepting to my physical touch than usual as well. You're not usually like that at all. It's only ever so often you are."

Moon: .....

Glamrock Luna: "You feel warm too. Like very warm."

Moon: "Really? I feel cold personally."

Glamrock Luna: "Chills..."

Moon: "Yeah..."

Glamrock Luna: *sighs* "Let's just get you to the couch ok."

Moon: "Okay."

After saying that Luna helps me over to the couch and lays me down. Once I was settled she grabs the nearest blanket and covers me with it.

Glamrock Luna: "Now, I'll be right back with a thermometer. I think you might have a fever along with everything else."

Moon: "I wouldn't be surprised."

She then left to go get the thermometer and quickly came back with it as well as alcohol swabs to disinfect it after it was used. I take it from her and use it. We then patiently wait for it to beep. Once it does she takes it out and reads it.

Glamrock Luna: "God, you definitely have a fever Moony. I know that because when you're biomechanical even if not fully your internal temperature is the same as a human being. The thermometer here reads 104.5 degrees so you're pretty significantly above average temperature."

Moon: "Fuck me."

She then disinfects the thermometer sets it aside and sits beside me. That's when I wrap my arms around her and rest my head against her soft chest.

Glamrock Luna: "So now this is my question. What hell happened Moony? You were perfectly fine and healthy this morning."

Moon: *groans* "I pulled a stupid."

Glamrock Luna: "What do you mean by that?"

Moon: "I accidentally infected myself with my own accidentally made virus."

Glamrock Luna: "Moon..."

Moon: "Listen, I'm smart but I still make mistakes."

Glamrock Luna: "I know. We all make mistakes. However, I want to know the full story now."

When she said that I just sigh and turn over so the back of my head was resting on her lap now and I was looking directly up at her. Once I was comfortable in the position I answered her question.

Other than that I can't really think of anything else to say aside from its sweet to see Luna taking care of Moon when he's sick.
