~ Important Author's Note (Pls Read) ~
Ok so, I don't know how long this will be. To be honest even if it's very late, I kinda just wanted to write something in celebration of Solar's return that isn't SolRuin related.

As a reminder, any term like "Dear", "Darling", "Sweetie", "Sweetheart", or most commonly "Hun" that you'll see Solar say in this or anything I write but in reference to Luna IS NOT A SHIP it's literally just a term of endearment to her as a friend. Solar and Luna are just close friends. Nothing more. In fact he could care less about dating her. My Solar in any of my AUs unless I decide to change it for one or so, will always be gay and have eyes for only Ruin.

Anyway, now that I got that out of that way, with that being said I hope you guys enjoy. ;3

~ Moon's POV ~

I had just gotten home from working in my lab so ready to head to bed. In fact as soon as I got home I headed to our bedroom. However upon entering I was actually surprised to see Luna wasn't already in bed and waiting for me.

At first I thought maybe Luna got caught up with work and had to stay at the Pizzaplex for a little while longer. I mean I've kinda noticed that about her and Roxanne. They're mostly the ones who are asked to stay late. Sometimes Glamrock Freddy too but not often.

I then thought, there's no way she's still at the Pizzaplex because if she was she'd normally text me and tell me she got caught up with work so she'll be home late. That's when I noticed something I wasn't expecting when I looked out the window of our bedroom.

Luna was sitting outside on the docks. She never sat out there unless she wanted to be alone and deep in thought. Curious I leave the bedroom and head over to the backyard door push it open and head outside.

Once I did that I shut the door behind me and walked over to the wolf who was quite clearly deep in thought. I then place my hand on her shoulder immediately startling her pretty badly.

Moon: "Hey."

Glamrock Luna: "GAH! Oh Fuck Moon! Don't Do That! *huffs from taking a breath and calming down*... You practically gave me a heart attack from that ya know."

Moon: *says while sitting on the dock next to her* "Yeah, sorry about that. I didn't mean to scare you that badly Starlight. Didn't mean to scare you at all actually"

Glamrock Luna: *sighs and rests her head on his shoulder* "I know. You just snuck up on me is all."

When she said that and also did what she did I couldn't help but put an arm around her.

Moon: "I know. Plus you know I've always been known as "the scary one" or "the mean one" between my brother and I" *chuckles a little*

Glamrock Luna: *scoffs* "Bullshit."

Moon: "Yeah, well... maybe not to you~"

Glamrock Luna: "Nope. All I see is a handsome incredibly smart overprotective highly family oriented scientist animatronic~"

Moon: "Heh, I know. But you know what I mean"

Glamrock Luna: "Yeah... I do."

Moon: "Anyway, what are you doing out here so late? You never come out here, ever really."

Glamrock Luna: "Just thinking is all."

Moon: "Well no shit. I figured that. I know that's the only ever time you come out here. Aside from wanting to be alone with your thoughts in peace without the loud noise and disturbance of so many of us living in the same house."

Glamrock Luna: "Yeah."

Moon: "If you don't mind me asking, what has you wanting to be out here alone with your thoughts?"

Glamrock Luna: "Don't worry about it."

Moon: "Fair enough. I won't go poking my nose into your business, you know I never will. You don't want to tell me something I respect that. You can still always tell me when you want or not at all. I don't mind either and respect both decisions fully."

Glamrock Luna: "I know. Which is what makes you so gentleman like."

Moon: *softly blushes* "Heh..."

Glamrock Luna: "Anyway, I'll still tell you I don't mind."

Moon: "Alright."

Glamrock Luna: "I don't know why, but I've recently been thinking a lot about Solar for some reason. I mean it's been 4 months since his death already. I know he's coming back via Eclipse and couldn't be more happy about that, but I guess I just still miss him is all."

Moon: "Ah. That makes sense. I may have never met the guy but if he's anything like how you guys talk about him... he sounds like an amazing guy. So it's understandable to still be grieving him ever so often here and there even with the knowledge of him coming back."

Glamrock Luna: "Yeah. To be honest, Solar and I were close friends. Not nearly as close as he was with Earth and who's now Nexus but still close."

Moon: "Understandable."

Glamrock Luna: "Yeah."

Moon: .....

Glamrock Luna: "Now that I think about it, you and Solar would be really close too ya know. He's quite like you in many certain ways. I just wish you got a chance to meet him in person."

Moon: "Same. But I know I will when he returns."

Glamrock Luna: "I guess that's true."

Moon: "Exactly."

Glamrock Luna: "Anyway, in the mean time... I do kind of want you to stay out here with me."

Moon: *smiles* "Whatever you want Starlight~"

Glamrock Luna: "Heh, love you."

Moon: "Love you too."

With that we both went silent for a while and just enjoyed the peace and quiet aside from the choir of loud crickets of the warm starry August night.

Moon: "Beautiful night huh?"

Glamrock Luna: "Yeah."

Moon: "Not as beautiful as you though~"

Glamrock Luna: *blushes and gives a scoff* "That was cheesy"

Moon: "It's cheesy but true"

Glamrock Luna: "Heh, shut up"

Moon: "Fine"

Glamrock Luna: "But really, I think the most beautiful things about tonight is that it's warm and peaceful with a soft cool breeze. As well as seeing the full moon and stars reflecting off the surface of the lake."

Moon: "Yeah."

After that we both went silent again and continued enjoying the beautiful peaceful night. Sadly the peace was interrupted by my phone going off.

When I looked down I saw that it was Eclipse's number thus making me think "What does the fucking headache want." However, I tried not to show Luna I was annoyed and just politely excused myself in a calm way.

Moon: "Sorry Starlight, I've gotta take this."

Glamrock Luna: "It's fine."

Moon: "I'll make it up to you. I promise."

Glamrock Luna: "Alright."

With that Luna gets off me and I stand up then leave where I was sitting and answered the phone in a very annoyed and irritated tone of voice. "What do you want Eclipse? I thought you left a while ago." "Eclipse? Moon what are you on about? It's Solar."

Once I heard that I hung up the phone quite abruptly, set down a portal and headed to Eclipse's lab. That's when I met up with this "Solar" everyone was talking about.

When I got there I had to explain to Solar what happened and that I wasn't the Moon he originally grew attached too. Of course he told me that to my surprise didn't believe me.

Since he didn't believe me he instead just asked for me to take him home so I do. Maybe Sun would have an easier time explaining it and maybe he'll take Sun's word over mine.

- Time Skip -

Once we got home, I went to get Sun and Jack then Sun and I kinda just filled Solar in on stuff that has happened. He seemed out of it and like it was unreal which honestly fair.

I mean at least he only had to get filled in on what happened the past 4 months. I on the other hand had to be filled in with information from the past year which was honestly a lot harder and more confusing on what happened.

~ Glamrock Luna's POV ~

It's been a while since Moon left. To be honest I was wondering if he was going to come back out but he never did.

So with that I stay outside for a few more minutes then look at the time and it was getting pretty late. That's when I sigh to myself and get up then head inside talking while I did.

Glamrock Luna: "Moon? Are you coming back out or not? You kinda just left me out there after you got a call and I was wondering if you were."

Moon: "Sorry Starlight... I wont lie I did kind get sidetracked and forgot I left you. That was my bad."

Glamrock Luna: "No it's—"

I then cut myself off as I saw who was standing in the living room with Sun, Moon, and Jack. There in the middle of the room with everyone was the person I've been thinking about a lot lately. One of my best friends. He also looked entirely different with his new body.

Other than that, Even though he never showed much emotion I could still tell he was tired, confused, a bit uncomfortable or overwhelmed, and honestly maybe even a bit betrayed after hearing what happened with the Moon he once knew.

I could tell he was all of those based on his body language considering even though I'm an animatronic wolf I still had like that 6th sense animals had and could feel how someone else feels just based on body language.

Either way that still didn't stop me from starting to feel myself tear up. Thus making me cover my mouth and gasp

Glamrock Luna: *softly squeaks out* "Solar!"

With that I couldn't help myself and sprinted towards him immediately launching into a hug that almost knocked him down. My tail was violently wagging while I embraced the Nice Eclipse. The tail wagging was honestly quite rare for me to do. I've only ever done it so often. It took him by surprise but he did return the hug.

Solar: "Woah. Ok. Hi darling."

After Solar said that, I pull away from the hug slightly and place one hand on his shoulder while the other I placed on his cheek while tears were in the corner of my eyes.

Glamrock Luna: "I-Is... Is it actually you?"

Solar: "Eh... I guess you could say that."

Going back and processing Solar calling me "darling" just a second ago was finally the trigger that made my tears finally fall. This was due to missing him as much as I did over those 4 months he was dead."

Glamrock Luna: "I know it random but, I've really missed hearing those nicknames you call me from your voice. Eclipse still calls me them out of spite. You do it clearly out of endearment."

Solar: "I mean, it really is just an Eclipse thing dear. I don't mean to say them."

Glamrock Luna: "I don't give a fuck, I still missed hearing those nicknames from your voice."

Solar: "Heh, fair enough."

Once he said that I immediately just hugged him again still wagging my tail.

Glamrock Luna: "Either way, thank god you're back! You've been gone for what seems like forever!"

Solar: "Yeah..."

Moon: "Wow, she actually gave you the tail wag. She didn't even do that for me when I returned."

Solar: "Heh, guess I'm special."

Moon: "I guess. Honestly I'm a bit jealous"

Glamrock Luna: "Oh shut up Moon. Yes I did, don't lie. Plus when you came back from being dead for a year and said you were the original Moon I quite literally sobbed against you for 2 hours maybe even more. I mean it was enough to make my glamrock makeup smear against you. Didn't some of it stain your suit too?"

Moon: ....

Solar: *holds back from laughing* "It stained?"

Moon: "It... *sighs out of embarrassment*... It did... for a few days too. Finally it came out after like 3 almost 4 days."

Glamrock Luna: "Exactly. So let me have this."

Moon: "Fine."

That's when I turned my attention back to Solar still not letting him go

Moon: "Ya know... she really missed you. She literally told me just a few hours ago when I found her sitting outside that you've been on her mind a lot lately."

Solar: "Really?

Moon: "Yeah."

I then awkwardly pull away from the hug getting a bit embarrassed from that statement.

Glamrock Luna: *clears throat* "Y-Yeah... honestly... it's embarrassing. I just... I don't know. I guess I just missed you on and off even if I accepted your death is all."

Solar: "Well then, I guess my arrival couldn't be more perfectly timed."

Glamrock Luna: "I guess. Anyway, I know I shouldn't outright say this but... you seem a little different and it's not just the new body you have."

Solar: "I'm still... processing... everything that happened while I was away. Everything that was just dumped on me from the months I've been gone. Maybe that's why."

Glamrock Luna: "Maybe. I know it's a lot to take in at once."

Solar: "Yeah. Especially with the idea that the Moon I knew before I died is gone."

Glamrock Luna: "I bet."

Solar: .....

Glamrock Luna: "Look at the bright side, at least you're back now. Then on top of that you only missed 4 months and only had to catch up with 4 months. Moon here on the other hand missed a whole year. So the poor guy had to catch up on a year's worth of shit that happened instead."

Moon: "Yep. And god that wasn't fun. I had a headache for almost 2 days after getting all that information dumbed on me at once. The headache was from overwhelming my processor."

Solar: "Yeah. I guess you're right."

Glamrock Luna: "Exactly. Other than that, you do look great Solar. This new body really does suit you."

Solar: "Thanks hun."

Glamrock Luna: "You're welcome. Now, you should go rest, maybe tomorrow you'll be better. I again know everything that happened over the 4 months is a lot to take in."

Solar: "Yeah..."

Glamrock Luna: "It's good to have you back Solar. Back to having you in the family. We all missed you dearly."

After I said that he gives a forced smile then headed off to the bedroom Moon apparently told Solar to stay in. After he left everyone else kinda started to dissipate as well.

Moon: "You ready for bed as well Starlight?"

Glamrock Luna: "Yeah. But before we do could you answer something for me?

Moon: "Sure."

Glamrock Luna: "So, I know you sent Solar to a room to stay in, but where exactly is he staying?"

Moon: "In the bedroom upstairs across from Dazzle and Jack's room. The room I joked about staying in when we moved in Sun."

Glamrock Luna: "Really? That room? But all the lights in that room don't work. It's pitch black in that room. Solar should've taken our bedroom."

Moon: "He didn't need to. I fixed the lights in that what use to be dark bedroom a while ago. That was a house project I did."

Glamrock Luna: "Ah. Ok."

Moon: "Plus, if he ends up not liking that room, we can convert the office on this floor into a bedroom instead."

Glamrock Luna: "Fair enough."

Moon: "Exactly."

Glamrock Luna: "Then again, if Solar is anything like the way he use to be... he's not picky. He'll just be happy with any room at this point. He'll literally sleep on a couch if he had to."

Moon: "Damn."

Glamrock Luna: "Mmhm."

Moon: "Then in that case, even if Solar doesn't care, I might as well still make that office another bedroom anyway. We never use it."

Glamrock Luna: "Again, that's fair."

Moon: "Exactly. Like I get it, that office was originally meant to be an office for me but even I don't use it considering I'm always working in either the Daycare during after hours or more commonly my lab. So it's honestly just a waste of space. So we might as well make it into something useful that we actually use."

Glamrock Luna: "True. Plus, by that logic it would be nice to have another bedroom anyway for like guests ya know."

Moon: "My point exactly. Especially since we have so many people living in this house at the same time. So it would be nice to have a spare bedroom."

Glamrock Luna: "Yeah."

Moon: "How many people do we have living here anyway?"

Glamrock Luna: "Let's see... you, me, Sun, Lunar, Polaris, Jack, Dazzle, and now Solar from the looks of it. So that's 8 people in all now living in this house. More if you count the ever so rare occurrence of Earth sleeping over instead of staying with Monty some nights."

Moon: "God... when the fuck did I become such a family man."

Glamrock Luna: "You always have been Moony. Why Else Do You Think I Call You The Father To My Mother~"

Moon: "I... *blushes*... Shut up."

Glamrock Luna: *chuckles* "Come'er"

With that I sneak a quick little peck off of Moon's lips.

Moon: "Mmph... Luna!"

I just respond with a little giggle. That's when I see Moon just roll his eyes out of annoyance.

Moon: "Whatever. Anyway, like I was saying about making the office another bedroom. Maybe once Solar had time to process and take everything in, I could possibly ask him to help me convert that office into another bedroom."

Glamrock Luna: "I mean he'd probably be more than happy to help with that, he's really good at it too."

Moon: "Oh?"

Glamrock Luna: "Yeah. Then again, Solar is good at a lot of things though. In fact, I never said this aloud but, sometimes I considered Solar in the nicest way possible a male Mary Sue. Even though I know he's most definitely not. No one is."

Moon: "You are."

Glamrock Luna: "I... No I'm not! I'm definitely not!"

Moon: *laughs* "Relax, I'm just messing with you. I know you aren't. Like you said, no one is."

Glamrock Luna: "Good."

Moon: "Other than that, based on all of what you said there, Solar seems like a really reliable person to count on. To have another pair of hands help me out."

Glamrock Luna: "Oh he is."

Moon: "Great. I can't wait to work with him."

Glamrock Luna: "I bet. In fact, I guarantee once he's back to himself Solar will help you out a lot. I know you've been complaining about having too much stuff on your plate and feeling overworked."

Moon: "You have no idea."

Glamrock Luna: "Once Solar is himself, he'll definitely split your workload evenly so you won't feel as overwhelmed with everything."

Moon: "That sounds so nice."

Glamrock Luna: "I promise it will be."

Moon: "Good."

Glamrock Luna: "However I will say, when I said Solar was really good at designing bedrooms I meant it."

Moon: "Oh?"

Glamrock Luna: "Yeah. In the past he literally used your old bedroom above the Ballpit as a bedroom after the daycare blew up. He cleaned it up, redesigned it to his aesthetic, and made it an actual livable bedroom again. In fact, I guarantee it's still up there at this point in time."

Moon: "Wow."

Glamrock Luna: "Mmhm. And if we ever end up tracking down Ruin again and Ruin ends up coming back... he might move into that room in the daycare again but with Ruin."

Moon: "What do you mean with?"

Glamrock Luna: "They're close friends. Might even be a thing at this point."

Moon: "Right... I honestly forgot about that. Makes me wonder how hard it was on Ruin when he ended up not able to do anything against killing Solar based on what I was told."

Glamrock Luna: "Probably wasn't easy on him"

Moon: "Probably not."

Glamrock Luna: "Anyway, sorry to cut our conversation short but, I'm tired and ready for bed. In fact I feel like I could collapse from low battery at any moment. I had a busy day at the Pizzaplex like always."

Moon: "Fair enough. To be honest, I think our conversation was pretty much over anyway."

Glamrock Luna: "Alright. Are you ready for bed then?"

Moon: "Yeah. I'm pretty exhausted myself now that you mention it."

Glamrock Luna: "Come on then. Let's head to bed."

Moon: "Alright."

With that the two of us headed to the master bedroom, got ready for bed, then headed to sleep. It was so nice to finally have Solar back, in fact it almost felt unreal.

And I'm ending it there. To be honest, like I said in the beginning Author's Note, I really just wanted to write something for Solar's return that wasn't SolRuin related. I had the idea of Luna's reaction to Solar's return in the back of my head since he came back hence why wrote this. Other than that, I hope you guys enjoyed this oneshot it was approximately 3585 words in all by the end of it so until next time...
