~ Important Author's Note (Pls Read) ~
Ok so wow... I was not expecting to make a part 2 to this. I guess I just really like the idea of Sun and Polaris being a thing. It's just so cute especially since they're both star-themed characters. Anyway, unlike last part this is actually where we get into the Sun x Polaris stuff. This is after the conversation Moon had with Sun. Basically it's now after work and Sun is about to ask the question on if Polaris likes him. So with that beating said, I hope you guys enjoy ;3

- Last Part -
~ Sun's POV ~

Moon: "You're break is over. It's been over for about ten minutes."

Sun: "Fuck! I'm late! Why didn't you tell me sooner Moon!!"

I then see Sun immediately stand up very quickly out of panic and was about to start frantically heading out the door. That's when I grab his hand and stop him before leaving.

Moon: "Hey, hey, hey. It's ok Sun. No need to panic like that. It's not like kids were left unattended. Solar, Lunar, Earth, Polaris, Ruin, and Glamrock Luna still have them perfectly occupied and have been watching them. I just gave you a reminder. No need to rush out the door like that."

Sun: "Huh. Yeah I guess you're right. How many workers do we have at this point?"

Moon: "Let's see. You, me, Lunar, Solar, Earth, Polaris, Ruin, and the occasional Glam Luna when she's free. So about 8 workers at this point."

Sun: "We have a lot of attendants."

Moon: "Yeah. We do. It's a big popular place that only grows in numbers."

Sun: "True.

Moon: "Exactly. Now, head back to post Sunny. They need you.

Sun: *takes a deep breath and calms down* "Y-Yeah... sorry I just..."

Moon: "I know. Again, let's head out together alright."

Sun: "Alright."

With that the both of us headed out of the room. Once we were on the main floor we headed back to our posts. Sun went to continue working along side Lunar and Polaris while I hopped back to being security.

- Current Part -
~ Sun's POV ~

It's been a few hours since Moon and I had that little conversation. In fact it was now closing time. So I as well as the others signed kids out and waved goodbye as their parents came to pick them up.

After the kids all left I started doing my daily tasks of cleaning up after them. I didn't know when would be a good time to ask Polaris the question of being my girlfriend.

However, as I was placing the last barrel on the desk I noticed Polaris trying to intensly scrub something off of her that's when I thought to myself "I should go help her? Maybe then I could talk to her."

It took me a little bit of thinking but then I just thought to myself "You know what they say, there's no time like the present." So that's when I decided to talk with her.

Yet before I went over to talk to her I took a deep breath to calm my anxiety. I then thought to myself "Come on Sunrise, you got this."

Sun: "I couldn't help but notice you having some trouble."

Polaris: "Hm? Oh, yeah. This glitter glue and paint is a pain in the ass to get off. Mainly the glitter glue actually."

Sun: "Yep, kids are messy."

Polaris: "That they are. But how can you not love them."

Sun: "Yeah."

Polaris: "Heh, yeah."

Sun: "Look at the bright side, at least you're not covered in stickers and glitter in general. Those are impossible to get off. Believe me. I know to well."

Polaris: *chuckles* "You would wouldn't you."

Sun: "Well... I have been a daycare attendant for years."

Polaris: "True."

Sun: "In fact, this may be a little tmi but wanna know a little something."

Polaris: "Sure."

Sun: "I still find glitter deep inside my sensitive inner wiring, gears, and other mechanical parts to this day from making the mistake of allowing kids play with that stuff months ago during arts and crafts. This is from before you even worked here."

Polaris: "Haha! Really?!"

Sun: "Sadly, yes. It's impossible to clean up entirely."

Polaris: "Oh my god!" *continues laughing*

Sun: "Like bitch! How the fuck did that shit even get in there! It shouldn't be possible!"

Polaris: *continues laughing a little harder now*

I won't lie hearing Polaris laugh like that made me feel so happy. It only made me feel even better knowing I was the one who caused her to crack up like this. However, as soon as her laughing fit started to die down I decided to offer my hand in helping her get cleaned up herself.

Sun: "Here, let me help."

Polaris: "O-Oh... that's sweet of you. But it's fine really."

Sun: "I insist."

Polaris: "I..."

I don't let her finish the sentence and grab one of the cloths either way. I then dip the cloth in the bucket of warm soapy water and start cleaning the spots she was having trouble with which also included her face to an extent. While doing that I noticed she got a very bright blush. That just makes me softly smile.

Sun: "You really are quite gorgeous Polar."

Polaris: "I... Th-That was sudden."

Sun: "But it's true."

Polaris: "Th-Thank you."

Sun: "Here, give me your hands now."

She nods and does. That's when I gently rub those clean as well.

Polaris: "How did you?"

Sun: "I'm a clean freak. I'm just good at cleaning. Paper towels don't always do the job."

Polaris: "Thank... you..."

Sun: "Of course."

Polaris: "If you're done cleaning the daycare and don't need anymore help, I'd love to head home now. I'm really exhausted."

Sun: "You can head off if you like."

After saying that I go fully behind the reception desk and started cleaning the back counter with the rang I still had.

Polaris: "You sure? I could help you clean the barrels o-or something. I... I don't want you cleaning everything on your own."

Sun: "No, it's fine Polaris. I've got it. It's not like I've never done it before. I always clean the entire daycare."

Polaris: "A-Are you sure you don't need help with anything? It would go faster with two of us."

Sun: "Again, I'll be fine Polaris. You just go home and rest Starbeam"

Polaris: *blushes from the nickname* "I... I still don't think I'll ever get use to you calling me that."

Sun: "What?... *places the cloth back into the bucket*... Starbeam?"

Polaris: "Y-Yeah."

Sun: "It's just a nickname I call people I'm close with. It's mainly women I'm close with that I've noticed I call that interesting enough."

Polaris: "I-I know."

Sun: "Yeah. Anyway, please go home and rest if you're tired. I don't want to keep you up any longer if you need to charge."

Polaris: "Yeah. I... I think I will."

Sun: "Good. However before you go, there's something I've been meaning to say to you."

Polaris: "Then say it."

Sun: "I know you're tired but there's something that's been on my mind lately. It's actually been on my mind for a few months now."

Polaris: "Oh?"

Sun: "After spending time with you and working with you for a while now, I've noticed I can't keep my eyes off you. I watch your every move during work days. I even at times get lost in your powdery blue eyes too. Then when I'm near you, I tend to fumble my words or stutter. I also get all nervous and sweaty. I feel as if my heart will burst out of my chest. I'm not even fully biomechanical so none of that should even be possible but it somehow is. In fact I'm feeling all of those things right now while talking to you but trying not to show it. The last time I ever felt this way about someone was with Roxanne way back when which was over 2 years ago."

Polaris: "S-Sunny, wh-what are you saying?"

Sun: *sighs* "What I'm saying is, I like you Polaris, but not "like" as in friends or coworkers. I mean like in the sense of love. You don't have to feel the s—"

I was then cut off by the northern star themed animatronic kissing me. It took me by surprise but at the same time it felt so right. In fact I couldn't help but return it as if it were natural.

When she kissed me I even melted from it in the sense that I started to slightly sit against the desk. Polaris even had her palms flat against the desk leaning into me. The rush I got from that kiss was definitely like no other. We then pulled away Polaris now looking directly up at me in the eyes.

Polaris: "Sunny, I've felt the same way about you since the day you helped me. The day you showed me the ropes."

Sun: "Really?"

Polaris: "Yes! Oh my god yes! I loved you since the beginning!"

After saying that, she then melted into my arms her face plate against my chest. I could tell she was on verge of tears too.

Polaris: "E-Everyday I... I sat wondering "when will he notice me". Eventually I soon almost gave up all hope, thinking you'd never return the feelings the same way I had. That I'll just have to live with being rejected and friend zoned yet still working side-by-side with the one I loved but knew he didn't feel the same."

Sun: "Polaris, I'll be honest. It did take me a few months. I only about 2 months ago did I realize I had these feelings for you. That I felt the same way about you that you felt about me."

Polaris: "Why? Why didn't you feel them sooner if you don't mind me asking? S-Sorry, that sounded rude, desperate and kinda selfish. I didn't mean for it to come off that way. So you don't have to answer the question if it makes you uncomfortable. I won't force you to, I'm simply just curious is all but it's a curiosity that doesn't need an explanation."

Sun: "No, I'll tell you. You deserve to know, especially if I do end up dating you."

Polaris: "Then tell me Sunny."

Sun: "The reason I didn't feel the same way sooner was because... *sighs* ... over 2 years ago I was rejected by someone I really loved at the time. I thought we had something special, like we had some kind of special connection. I was so set on her being "the one" or even my "true love" heck I was so madly in love with her that I even pictured our entire future lives together. Only to realize she wanted to marry someone else due to something called a maternity chip that Eclipse put into her head. Even if I know it was a chip, finding out she still wanted to marry someone else that wasn't me badly hurt me. It broke my heart, no it shattered it. I was distraught. Thinking "I'll never love again" and since then I haven't. This someone was Roxanne."

Polaris: ......

Sun: "Meaning since then, you've been the first person who has actually ever made me feel that spark again in over 2 years. I was honestly scared of being rejected again. Which is why I didn't return the feelings you had for me sooner. I didn't allow myself to have feelings for you because I didn't want to be hurt again like I so badly was in the past by Roxanne. That's why I was honestly so hesitant on asking you this to begin with. Why I couldn't have those feelings of romantic love for someone again. That I physically couldn't love you until recently even if I cared so much about you since the very first day you stepped foot in the daycare. So there you have it. That's your answer."

Polaris: "I... that... that was more than I was ever expecting to get as an answer to that question."

Sun: "S-Sorry."

Polaris: "No, you were on a roll. I'm glad you spilt everything about that to me. After all of that, now I see that it's completely understandable as to why you didn't feel the same about me for so incredibly long."

Sun: "Y-Yeah."

Polaris: "You poor baby. No one deserves to get their heart completely broken by the one they really love. Especially someone as sweet and kindhearted as you."

Sun: "It's fine. I was young, stupid and immature back then. Now that I'm "older" and more "grown up" I'm over it. I've been over it for a long fucking time. It just hurt still and left a pretty bad scar."

Polaris: "I can imagine."

Sun: "Yeah. So if it's ok with you, I'd like to allow myself to give it another chance at accepting that spark again and heal that scar with calling you mine. However, if you're not ready I won't push anything on you. You can take as long as you need Starbeam. I'll wait for you."

Polaris: "No. I want to be yours. I don't care if it's now or later. It's all entirely up to you. I won't push anything on you either. Especially after what you just told me about getting rejected in the past. So take as long as you need Sunny."

Sun: "Then I'd like to call it now. I'm done with keeping myself closed off. I want to get back out there in the dating game and call you mine, that is with your permission of course."

Polaris: "I'd be more than happy with that."

Sun: "Then I guess I'll call you my girlfriend?"

Polaris: "I'd like that."

Sun: "So would I."

Polaris: "Heh, my sweet Sunshine."

Sun: "My beautiful guiding star."

Polaris: *blushes with a soft smile*

We were silent for a little while. I was just holding her in my arms happy I wasn't rejected again. That now I had a special someone I could finally call my own without any disruptions. An actual relationship that for once wasn't familial. Either way, Polaris and I sat there silently until Polaris spoke up again.

Polaris: "I hate to ruin the mood Sunny, but I'm still really exhausted. I'd like to go home and sleep. I honestly feel really low on battery to the point I feel as if I'm going to pass out at any given time now."

Sun: "Of course. Would you like me to drive you home?"

Polaris: "Ya know what, sure. I'd like that."

Sun: "It's probably safer anyway. Especially if you're saying you're as low on battery as you claim to be."

Polaris: "Yeah."

Sun: "Then sure, I'll definitely drive you home. You currently live in an apartment building right?"

Polaris: "Mmhm."

Sun: "Then I'll take you home as long as you give me the directions."

Polaris: "I will."

Sun: "Alright then."

Polaris: "Here, these are them."

She then takes my arm, flips up the panel covering the miniature built in computer we all had, types in the directions to her home, then marks it on "favorites" so I could always know where she's staying if I wanted to hang out.

Sun: "Thank you."

Polaris: "Sure thing. Could you take me home now?"

Sun: "With pleasure."

We then leave the daycare, close up for the night, head out to my car, and I drive her home. While on the way I did ask her one more thing.

Sun: "Now that we're I guess a thing, I'd like to take you out one night. Would that be ok?"

Polaris: "Honestly, I'd love that."

Sun: "We could go to the Black Cat. That's a really popular date spot."

Polaris: "That sounds amazing."

Sun: "So is that a yes?"

Polaris: "It is. However like you said, do you even eat considering you aren't fully bioorganic?"

Sun: "I can when I want."

Polaris: "Fair enough."

Sun: "I often do it for Earth when she comes over to hang out with the rest of us but ends up making dinner."

Polaris: "I can see that."

Sun: "Yeah."

After that Polaris and I were silent the rest of the drive. This was mainly because we were both completely exhausted so we didn't necessarily feel like talking.

In fact both me and Polaris were blank stare out the window. I even had one hand on the steering wheel while my other arm rested with my elbow on the car's windowsill propping up my head.

Anyway, while I was driving Polaris home I didn't even notice until I got to the apartment building she was staying in. When I parked the car in front of the apartment building I saw that Polaris had fallen asleep in the passenger seat thus making me think "She really was low on battery huh."

I guess I just didn't notice Polaris fell asleep because I was pretty exhausted myself so I kinda went into "highway trance" on the way to where she stays. Highway trance is basically the driver's version of daydreaming or staring off into space. It could also be seen as autopilot.

I mean I don't blame myself for going into that while driving. Taking care of kids from 8am, 7am for the parents that need to head to work early until 9pm was extremely exhausting.

To be honest I don't even know how me, my family, Ruin and Polaris even work a 13 or 14 hour shift practically on a daily basis even with breaks ever so often throughout the day. I guess it's just coded into us but still.

Either way, I get out of the car shutting my door. I then go around to the passenger's side, take out Polaris's apartment key only to slip it into my pocket and pick up Polaris bridal style.

Once I got her secured I head into the apartment building and take her up to the one she currently lives in. After unlocking the door to said apartment I look around for her bedroom and take her to it once I found it.

When I entered her bedroom what made me blush but also feel so flattered is that the only other thing she had on her bed aside from the expected blankets and pillows was a singular plushy. It was specifically a singular plushy of me that she probably bought herself from the gift shop.

When I saw that, I couldn't help but stare at the plushy of me for a few seconds. I then snap myself out of it and place Polaris on her bed, leave her keys on the nightstand and was about to leave.

However, just as I was at the door of her bedroom about to leave I hesitated before stepping out. I then turn around and go back to her bed only to pick the plushy of me up and tuck it securely into her arms. I did this mainly as a mark to tell her I was the one who carried her to her bed. I then gave a soft smile and left the room, then the apartment.

Once I was done dropping Polaris off I drive home myself. When I got to our house I park the car and leave it then head to our front door with a little more prep in my step than usual even though I was exhausted. When I got to the front door and entered the house I met Moon upon walking in.

Moon: "You seem more giddy than usual. Almost like you're on cloud nine."

Sun: "What! Nooo."

Moon: *smirks* "What happened~"

Sun: "Uh heh heh... I might have got myself a girlfriend and a date in a few days."

Moon: "So you finally talked to her!"

Sun: "Maybe~"

That's when he came up and hugged me and I couldn't help but return it.

Moon: "I knew you could do it. God I'm so proud of you brother."

Sun: "Yeah... heh heh."

Moon: *pulls away from the hug* "You gotta tell me all the details now."

Sun: "Oh I will. But right now I'm very exhausted. Busy day at work."

Moon: "Isn't it always."

Sun: "Yeah."

Moon: "That's why I either stick to security or working in my lab."

Sun: "I know. You're lucky in that sense."

Moon: "Hey, just because I mainly work security doesn't mean I don't get as tired as you and everyone else. Because believe me, I do."

Sun: "I know and I thank you. I honestly don't say that enough but I mean it. You're what mainly keeps children in the daycare safe. If it weren't for you, I don't know what would happen."

Moon: "Thanks brother. I appreciate it."

Sun: "Sure thing."

Moon: "Anyway, sorry for holding you up. You should go get some rest. I'm gonna stay up and wait for Luna. She had another late night at the Pizzaplex again."

Sun: "Again? Poor girl, she's been having those a lot lately."

Moon: "Yeah."

Sun: "Both her and Roxanne from what I heard."

Moon: "Yep."

Sun: "God, I hope Fazbear doesn't overwork them"

Moon: "Same."

Sun: "You probably hope that more than me."

Moon: "Oh I do. My poor Starlight. I've been worked ragged mainly due to myself but it's still not fun."

Sun: "I know what you mean."

Moon: "Anyway, go get some sleep Sunny. You definitely deserve it."

Sun: "Thank you. I probably will."

Moon: "Good."

Sun: "Night Moon."

Moon: "Goodnight Sun."

Sun: "Love you."

Moon: *softly smiles* "Love you too brother."

With that I head upstairs to my bedroom and get ready for bed. Once I was ready I shut off the lights and headed to bed passing out cold almost instantaneously when my head hit the pillow.

And I'm ending this here. In fact this was the last part to this oneshot in specific. However, don't worry, I'm having a lot of fun writing with Polaris so there will be plenty more Polaris oneshots and possible Smutshots to come.
