~ Important Author's Note (Pls Read) ~
Ok so, before we start I just wanted to say that I've seen a few comments about people asking me if Dazzle will be in this book and well... I originally said no however after the episode on LAES with Dazzle/Evelyn getting a new body and Sun basically adopting her it gave me this idea. This idea is to write a family AU of Sun being Dazzle/Evelyn's dad and Polaris her mom.

Funfact: I originally couldn't decide which female oc of mine between Glamrock Luna and Polaris to use as Dazzle/Evelyn's mom in this AU. So I did a poll on my Discord, Twitter, and YouTube for 24 hours on which you guys want. 24 hours later... I got the final results and calculated all of them up and the oc that came out as the winning mother figure for Dazzle/Evelyn just as I expected was Polaris.

To be honest, I'm honestly not surprised Polaris won. In fact after even more thinking I do agree with all of you that Polaris would be the best fit for Dazzle/Evelyn's mother especially since Polaris is Sun's partner. So Polaris is Mother and Sun is Father. However for all of you who did pick Glamrock Luna you won't be disappointed, Glamrock Luna will instead be Dazzle/Evelyn's motherly aunt. Glamrock Luna is also still the "mother figure" of all the celestials while Moon is the "father figure" of the celestials so you'll still see their "Mother-Father" dynamic. Other than that, with no further ado I hope you guys enjoy ;3

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ F.Y.I ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
Before we fully get into this oneshot I do want to make two more things clear.
First one is that every time I will be writing with Dazzle in this book or any other book, I'll be calling her "Dazzle/Evelyn" in text when she's talking. I will be mainly doing this because I honestly don't know what to call her with the new look. A part of me still wants to call her "Dazzle" but that makes me think of the old body. While the other half of me wants to call her "Evelyn" in this body because it reminds me of how Sun briefly described what Evelyn looked like before her death. However she likes both names in canon SAMS and LAES so I just decided on calling her both when she's speaking thus leaving it up to you guys on what you want to call her. The second thing as well as last thing I want you guys to know is this. In this AU and just any AU of mine with Dazzle/Evelyn anyway is that she will probably act a little older and more mature than her actual age. This is mainly because 1) we don't know her exact age upon death and 2) I kinda have a headcanon that Evelyn was the oldest out of the 5 kids Sun listed mainly because he said she was in that time of her life where she was losing teeth and he didn't say that about any of the other kids he listed. So because of that I only assumed that meant Evelyn was a little older than the other 4 even if she was on the smaller side based on what Sun said. So I hope you guys don't mind those 2 things. Anyway, now that that's out of the way I hope you guys enjoy (for real this time) ;3

~ Sun's POV ~

It was right after Evelyn had transferred bodies and I have basically decided on adopting her. Moon was also now gone taking care of Dazzle's old body. So because of that I was about to take Dazzle back to the house and maybe watch some cartoons with her after she sees her bedroom.

It was honestly nice to get Evelyn out of that old 20 year old thing that had just started to fall apart today. She honestly deserves so much better than that shitty old thing anyway. So how convenient was it that Dazzle's new body was finished and her old body just started breaking down the same exact day.

Either way, Dazzle looked adorable in her new body too. In fact, I'm so happy she likes it as Moon and I worked very hard on building it even though it was mainly Moon who did. I just helped with small things here and there as well as some of the finer little details.

Other than that, I was also honestly just happy she could get to be a little girl again and play with the other kids in the daycare just like she did before her death. It was also sweet of her that she wanted to be my "apprentice" when it came to working the daycare. Of course I couldn't say no to that.

Either way, now that I think about it more when I woke up on July 16th and saw the entire aftermath of what happened that dreadful day Bloodmoon took control of my body and senselessly slaughtered every child in the daycare, that's all I've ever wanted with the poor children killed that day.

I've only ever wanted to say sorry and for all those kids lost to the events of July 16th all those years ago to once again be children again. Sadly, I know that will never happen.

Maybe one day I should visit the grave site of all those children lost to that day and apologize for everything I did when Bloodmoon was in control. I rather not have these poor children be mad at me for something I didn't do and couldn't control.

Other than that, I at least get to give Evelyn a second chance at being a little girl again even if she's now fully an animatronic. In fact I also hope that one day I'll be able to help her move on and cross to the other side when she's ready of course. That is if she'll ever be ready.

If not, I'll be more than happy to have Evelyn as an adopted daughter to take care of. I want to give her the best life I possibly can even if she's a ghost.

Dazzle/Evelyn: "Sunny, are you ok?"

Sun: "Hm?"

Dazzle/Evelyn: "Are you ok?"

Sun: "Oh. Yeah, I'm fine. I'm fine Dazzle. Don't worry about it."

Dazzle/Evelyn: "You sure?"

Sun: "Yeah..."

She then comes up and hugs me so I couldn't help but return the hug.

Dazzle/Evelyn: "Ok."

After that She pulls away. In fact other than being worried about me, I could tell she still clearly wanted to show Jack her new look quite desperately. Sadly Moon said he was out. When he said that Dazzle honestly sounded a little disappointed.

Sun: "Hey, enough focus on me. I know you want to show Jack your new look, and you will eventually. You just have to wait until he returns."

Dazzle/Evelyn: "I know."

Sun: "I'm sorry he's out at the moment."

Dazzle/Evelyn: "It's ok."

Sun: "However, I know it's getting late but if you still want to show off your new look to someone before I take you home... there is someone I have in mind that can see you now if you like."

Dazzle/Evelyn: "Really!"

Sun: "Mmhm. In fact I'm pretty sure she's still in the daycare."

Dazzle/Evelyn: "Who!? Is it Earth?"

Sun: "No. Earth is with Monty I'm pretty sure."

Dazzle/Evelyn: "Then who? Earth is the only girl I know aside from Luna who works in the daycare."

Sun: "You sure about that?"

Dazzle/Evelyn: "I think so."

Sun: "Think a little more Dazzle. Who works in the daycare. There's Me, Lunar, Earth, Moon with the security, Luna on occasion, and..."

Dazzle/Evelyn: "Oh! Polaris!"

Sun: "That's it."

Dazzle/Evelyn: "Mama!"

Sun: *softly blushes* "M-Mama?"

Dazzle/Evelyn: "Yeah. Polaris is the daycare's Mommy right? I've heard a lot of kids call her that while I use to stay up in the tower during opening hours."

Sun: *sighs in relief* "Yeah, she is the daycare's mommy."

Dazzle/Evelyn: "I knew it!"

Sun: "Yeah... yeah you did Dazzle. However, could we possibly not call her that..."

Dazzle/Evelyn: "Uh okie! But why? I've heard other kids do it."

Sun: "Let's just say... it makes me a little uneasy considering I am the one loving her. Like as more than a friend. Especially since "Mama" or "Mom" or any other thing like that implies that she is your mother."

Dazzle/Evelyn: "Oh. Yeah I will just call her Polar then."

Sun: "Thank you."

Dazzle/Evelyn: "You're welcome Sunny!"

With that I give another sigh of relief knowing I won't have to deal with essentially my new daughter calling Polaris "Mom" until she's ready to.

Dazzle/Evelyn: "You also wove her to right?"

Sun: "Yeah. I do love her. I love her very much."

Dazzle/Evelyn: "Can we go see her now?"

Sun: "Sure."

Dazzle/Evelyn: "Yay! *starts to chant* Polar! Polar! Polar!"

Sun: "Heh, come on, let's go see Polar before we leave."

Dazzle/Evelyn: "Okie"

I then hold out my hand and Dazzle takes it. After that we leave parts and service and head up to the daycare. In fact the entire way there Dazzle just kept chanting "Polar" as we went and was basically dragging me behind her because of her running.

This honestly made me feel something I've never felt before. I take care of a lot of children on a daily basis but being with Evelyn just felt different than the rest. I'm pretty sure it was the feeling of being a brand new parent.

Evelyn was now my daughter and I accept every last bit of that responsibility knowing I can't return her back to her biological parents anymore since she's been gone for years. So I had the need to protect her and keep her safe for her entire well... afterlife now.

Once we got to the daycare that's when Dazzle spoke to me again.

Dazzle/Evelyn: "Can you go in first? I wanna surprise her with my new look." *giggles*

Sun: "Sure Dazzle. I'll call you to come in after I say "she wanted it to be a surprise." alright."

Dazzle/Evelyn: "Okie! Hehe I can't wait to show her."

Sun: "I bet."

Dazzle/Evelyn: "Hehe."

That's when I give her a smile and push open the daycare doors in order to find my beloved Polaris.

~ Polaris's POV ~

It's been a long day of running the daycare and I was still cleaning up and getting ready for the kids tomorrow. Honestly I was already exhausted from practically being Head Daycare Attendant today with Sun gone the whole day.

The reason I was picked as Head Daycare Attendant instead of say Earth or Lunar is because Sun and I's relationship is no secret when it comes to higher ups and co-workers. So when Sun is gone they just have me be in charge instead since I was the next best thing after Sun.

Other than that, I don't even know where the hell Sun has been all day and it's honestly getting slightly on my nerves. He wouldn't even pick up his phone when I called him or text back when I texted him.

Luckily, with the way I am I don't get mad easily and also don't hold grudges. Thus as a result to that I only assumed Sun was busy with something else. Perhaps helping Moon with something or practicing his magic. So because of thinking that I couldn't be mad at him about it. Either way I honestly just desperately needed a recharge but had to finish stuff first.

While I was cleaning up the daycare I hear the loud heavy wooden doors creak open. That's when I respond without seeing who it is in a natural response when someone comes into the daycare after it closed.

Polaris: "Sorry, I do apologize Ma'am or Sir as we just closed for the day. You can come back tomorrow if you need to add and register your child to the list for tomorrow."

Sun: "Heh, would be funny if I was a guest wouldn't it be."

Polaris: "Sunny?"

Sun: "Yeah, it's just me Starbeam."

~ Sun's POV ~

After I said that I see Polaris come out from behind one of the play structures with the last barrel and set it up on the desk. After that she comes over to me and rests her faceplate against my shoulder. That's when I wrap my arms around her waist and get a little worried about her.

Sun: "You ok Starbeam?"

Polaris: "Yeah... just exhausted."

Sun: "O-Oh..."

Polaris: "Where the fuck have you been all day? I was Head Daycare Attendant today while you were gone which is why I'm so exhausted. I still don't at all understand how you're Head Daycare Attendant on a daily basis."

Sun: "Lots of practice. And basically just being use to it. I've been a daycare attendant for years Starbeam."

Polaris: "Understandable. I've only been one for a year. So I'm still exhausted after today nonetheless."

Sun: "Yeah, I'm sorry Starbeam. I've been helping Moon with something all day."

Polaris: *sighs* "Figured that was one of the things you were doing. The other thing I thought you were doing was practicing your magic."

Sun: "Fair enough."

Polaris: "I'm honestly just happy you're back. I'm so ready to go home and just sleep."

Sun: "I can imagine."

Polaris: "Yeah."

Sun: "However, before you do head home, are you alright with seeing one more thing before you leave?"

Polaris: "Sure."

After she said that she then pulls away from the hug.

Sun: "So, you know Dazzle right?"

Polaris: "Of course I do. She's a great kid, such a good helper too. In fact you also told me the other day that she was one of the children killed on July 16th. Evelyn, correct?"

Sun: "Yeah."

Polaris: "Now, what about her."

Sun: "Basically, the reason I was gone all day is because I was helping Moon with the final details of her new body. After that I came back to the daycare before you came in. In fact I was planning on being here with You, Lunar, and Earth today but then I heard Dazzle screaming and crying. Basically her old body had started to heavily fail. She couldn't see, the head kept flipping up, and in all she was in a lot of excruciating pain. So we took her down to parts and service and transferred her to the new body."

Polaris: "Poor baby"

Sun: "Yeah. Either way, after Dazzle was done changing suits, she wanted to immediately show Jack but he's currently out right now. Yet she still wanted to show off her look to at least someone before I took her home. So because I knew you were still here after hours I thought you should have the honor of seeing her first. However, Dazzle isn't in here with me because she wanted it to be a surprise."

As soon as I said that line just like I went over with Dazzle she bursted through the doors with her arms in the air.

Dazzle/Evelyn: "Surprise Polar!"

~ Polaris's POV ~

Upon Dazzle saying that my eyes grew wide and I immediately gasped and pushed past Sun. I then crouched beside her to get a better look at the adorable little animatronic deer girl in front of me.

Polaris: "Oh my god! You're so cute!"

Dazzle/Evelyn: "Hehe. Thankies"

Polaris: "Sun and Moon made you look so good. They made you look perfect."

Dazzle/Evelyn: "I know right! I wove it so much! It's evewything I wanted."

Polaris: "I'm glad it is. In fact you should love it. You should love it so much. I can tell Sun and Moon made it with so much love."

Dazzle/Evelyn: "I know! I especially wove that Sunny helped make it."

Polaris: "I bet you do. Sun has always been your favorite. Rightfully so too because let me tell you a secret..."

Dazzle/Evelyn: "Ohhh! What? What is it?"

That's when I get closer to her and whisper in Dazzle's tiny deer ear.

Polaris: *whispers* "Sun has always been my favorite too. I have a huge crush on him... *pulls away then says quietly to Dazzle*... shh don't tell anyone."

Dazzle/Evelyn: "Ohhh. hehehe... *says quietly back*... your secret is safe with me."

When she said that I just give a little bit of a chuckle while I stood up. In fact that's when Dazzle speaks again.

Dazzle/Evelyn: "Also, Lookies! Look what else I can do!"

I then see her reach up and press one of the bells on one of her bows changing her outfit. It changed from her overalls to a poofy purplish floral dress.

Polaris: "It's so cute!"

Dazzle: "Mmhm! This one too!"

I see her press the bell on one of her bows again and it changes her dress to a different one. This one was not poofy and almost looked like a nightgown. It was also a pink floral dress instead of purplish.

Polaris: "Aww, that's so cute. However, I think I like the other one better."

Dazzle/Evelyn: "Oh so do I. I look like a pwetty princess in that one."

Polaris: "You look like a pretty princess in both dresses Dazzle. Even in your overalls too."

Dazzle/Evelyn: "Thankies. But I look even more like a pwetty princess in this one."

Polaris: "Heh, you definitely do."

She then gives a little giggle and presses the bell again changing back to her overalls. After that she lifts up her arms and asks me to hold her.

Dazzle/Evelyn: "Uppies."

Polaris: "Heh, alright."

I then crouched down and picked her up then stood back up now holding the small deer like a toddler even if I knew she wasn't one. She was a little older than some of the other children who died that day on July 16th from what I was told even if she was on the smaller side hight wise.

Sun: "Heh, she hasn't even asked me to pick her up yet. Wow."

Dazzle/Evelyn: "You will get your turn later."

Sun: *chuckles* "Fine."

After Sun said that I actually felt Dazzle rest her head on my shoulder.

Polaris: "Tired huh."

Dazzle/Evelyn: "A little."

Polaris: "Honestly, me too sweetheart, me too."

Dazzle/Evelyn: "Why are you tired?"

Polaris: "I've been working all day."

Dazzle/Evelyn: "Oh."

Polaris: "Yeah..."

Evelyn: "But before I do go sleepy I want to play a little."

Polaris: "Alright."

With that I set her down and as soon as I do it's like she suddenly got a huge burst of energy and bolted for the play structures.

And I'm ending this part here. Anyway, this is only part 1 and I'm already loving this AU so much. So because of that, I am planning on making a part 2 to this so look out for that.
