SUMMERTIME SADNESS.

Kayla Matthews is travelling from Florida to California for the Summer, planning to spend it at a beach house. From the airport, she got on the wrong bus that drove her to a small town called Beacon Hills. With no more buses running that night, she is forced to stay in the town. When she wanders around in search of a hotel, she sees something that she shouldn't have. She watches as some creature, a kind of lizard, maybe, murdered a man.

Scott and Stiles found out that she saw the Kanima and go to great lengths to make her stay in town, to make sure she wouldn't tell the world. Not that she even knew what happened herself. Forced to stay in Beacon Hills, Melissa McCall opens her doors to the girl and lets her stay for the Summer. And although it wasn't the Californian Summer she planned, Kayla found herself liking the place. Particularly the people in it, or one person at least. Summer. She never wanted it to end.
