"Ok so you pick the dandelion fuzz thing, we go back to back, and walk five steps away from each other. Then we can make our wishes." Said the bright hazel eyed little girl.

"This is dumb." Grumbled the dark brown eyed little boy. "Please Gray." The little girl begged. "Fine Bec." He said to his best friend, her name is Rebecca but Grayson is the only one allowed to call her that. Not even her brother.

The both turn around and walk away from each other, "are you ready?" "Yup" "Ok 1...2...3.."

"What did you wish for?" He asks "If I tell you, it won't come true. What about you?" She says smiling.

"Well if I tell you then it won't come true." He said making them both burst out in laughter.

Grayson and Rebecca have been best friends for almost three years now. Completely inseparable. She is this dirty blonde, hazel eyes short girl. He has dark brown hair, brown eyes, and is pretty tall for his age.

They were the perfect contrast of each other.

*5 years later*

Both about 13 years old. Still inseparable. Until now....

"I know this is going to be difficult but we can talk everyday and FaceTime and all that fun stuff." Rebecca said to her best friend with tears in her eyes.

"I know but still, we've been best friends since first grade. It's gonna be weird not seeing you everyday. He said with a crack in his voice.

"Just a couple states away. I'm gonna miss being here but I'm going to miss you the most Gray." She's said while finally breaking down.

"I have to go now gray. I-I.... I'm gonna miss you" with a full body wracking sob, she hugs him.

She lets go and walks towards the cab. "Bye Gray." She gets in and the cab drives away.

"Bye Bec" he whispers
