Entry #11

Monday, June 26th, 2017:

As I should've predicted today's meeting in the club was beyond awkward. It was weird to be around him, pretending that him and I were 'just friends' after that kiss on Friday. And I couldn't tell Vanessa about it. If I did, she'd never let me forget it. It would all we ever talked about. For the sake of accidental regret, it would be better for her not to know.

"So ..." Vanessa started the meeting by interrupting the awkward silence as Rocky and I stared at each other without blinking. "What are we gonna do for these next few days since we already have everything set in stone?"

"Umm ..." Rocky began. I could that we were running out of ideas of what to do. "We could discuss Ross's autopsy -"

Vanessa and I cut him off right there. "Yeah. No. Not gonna happen." Neither Vanessa, nor I called jinx on one another. We just glanced at each other quickly.

"We could have a Once Upon A Time marathon,"  Vanessa suggested. "One time during spring break, my girlfriends came over for the week, and we watched Once Upon A Time all week. No rest. No sleep. No leaving the couch. My parents are totally fine with it."

And so that was what we did the rest of the day. That is what we will do until Friday arrives.
