Each To Their Own I Guess (;_;)

It was officially the first day of summer, and you and Cynthia were having a lunch break at work. Mei noticed the two of you and decided to say hello.
"Hiya! How are you?" She asked.
Cynthia made sure she spoke first before you made some kind of sarcastic reply.
"We're good. How about you? You hang out with Soul a lot. Something going on?" Cynthia asked.
"Soul? Well, he's a nice friend and all but I really like my twin brother at the moment. He likes me back as well. You should meet him! His name is Lei. Totally cutie." Mei replied, giggling and rambling on about her brother. "Aw snap, I've got to go. See you guys later."
You and Cynthia blinked.
"Well that was.. new." You admitted.
"Each to their own I guess." Cynthia added.
Interrupting your comments, Yukkio walked in.
"Looks like you have a visitor." Cynthia smirked.
"(Y-Y/N)?" Yukkio asked shyly.
"Down here buddy." You replied, waving from the table.
Yeah, with Yukkio being so tall he could often miss people from down below.
"Oh hi.. Um I.." He mumbled, blushing madly.
"You're like a school girl confessing to senpai. Get it together." Cynthia commented.
Yukkio hugged you. You awkwardly patted him on the back.
"What's up?" You asked.
"I love you." He confessed.
You sighed, shuffling out of the hug.
"Sorry Yukkio. I like someone else." You replied.
"B-but it won't change me loving you. I've loved you from the moment I met you!" He exclaimed.
"But that was when you were four." Cynthia raised an eyebrow.
"I know. I've always loved you and nobody else ever. Please love me back. You have to!" Yukkio started to cry.
You felt like asshole of the year.
"Who do you like them so much? Are the n-nicer that me? Do they love you m-more in your eyes?" Yukkio asked, tears falling down his face.
"No. They hate me. They will never love you as much as you love me. In fact, I'd almost given up on them for a little while but no matter what I still like them. No matter how hard I try to move on. I know you feel the same Yukkio, probably stronger but you have to accept it. I'm sick of being the asshole all the time. Everyone is an asshole and I hate them." You replied.
"Even the one you like?" Yukkio sniffled.
"Yes."

After that dramatic scene, Yukkio left and you had Cynthia were back to work.
"He's awful." You mumbled. "I hate being manipulated."
"He's done worse." Cynthia shrugged.
"Obviously." You muttered.
You quit the dishes and started to mop, humming your favourite song. Customers would be coming in soon, so you had to be quick. Aristea checked up on you.
"Good job." She smiled.
"I have a special customer tonight, he just got rejected so be gentle." Cynthia explained for her.
"His name isn't Yukkio, is it?" You groaned.
"Nope." Aristea smiled. "You'll find out."
You raised an eyebrow.
"I'm not in the mood for you two nut-jobs." You muttered, pushing past them and looking at the many people filling the restaurant.
You, Cynthia and other staff members started to take orders when you spotted someone you didn't expect to see. Soul?
"He asked Mei out." Cynthia explained. "But, you know."
"That's who you meant?" You questioned.
"Well yeah."
You face-palmed, then hid. You didn't want to talk to him.
"Someone needs to take his order!" Wendy, one of the other workers called out, pointing to Soul.
"Why don't you do it, you basically volunteered." You mumbled.
Wendy walked away in confusion, her long blue hair swaying beside her.
"How about you stop being a bitch and work?"
"Piss off Cynthia."
"You can go home (Y/N), I don't mind." Aristea smiled.
"You restore my faith in humanity." You smiled. "Bye Aristea, the NICE person around her."
Cynthia shook her head and moved away.

When you were at home, you locked yourself in your room and cried whilst hugging a pillow. Then you started punching it.
"Why do I like such an irritating idiot?" You questioned out loud. "GO DIE IN A HOLE HORMONES!"
You fell back onto your bed, staring at the ceiling and sighing.
'Everything is dumb.' You thought.

Soul's POV
I was sitting alone in some restaurant I didn't know the name of, feeling stupid. Nobody took my order, not that I had one anyway. Mei was perfect, until she dropped me for her brother. I had to walk away from her, because the constant brother talk was driving me crazy. Then I ran into that talk new kid, who was crying and kept repeating '(Y/N)'. I knew (Y/N), she was Cynthia's Meister and everyone hated her. I wasn't sure if I hated her, I just didn't like how she seamed to hate everyone more. I don't think she knows why everyone hates her. It was originally because of Cynthia. Everyone hated her because everyone knew her about her parents. I hate Cynthia, because her and her family have made people like (Y/N) hate their lives and everyone in it. Not that it bothers me too much, but (Y/N) doesn't seam that bad. She just needs to loose the Cynthia, because it's made her really uncool. I want to talk to her, but I don't want to make myself uncool for hanging around someone associated with the Torikon family.

Cynthia's POV
As much as I hate it, I know I'm the reason (Y/N) is unpopular with most people. I'm cursed and I hate it. I've always had my own issues, being scared of my own gender, the pressure of being as good as my brothers, my creepy parents and having all of my closest family members die on me. I also have the curse. The curse that watches you and will spread hatred to most people you cross. Luckily I only have a weak version of it, so it's not as extreme as my parent's, aunts', uncle's and grandmother's. I've sadly made (Y/N) a sad person full of hate. I destroyed her chance with someone she likes, so I'm trying to fix it. I want her to talk to Soul so he will know the real her. My secret plan is to get her popular during summer so she will have a nice life while I leave to finish my duties with my family. I may or may not come back alive, but I hope either way she ends up happy with or without me as a weapon. It really sucks having a curse.
