The children around Sean's age started singing the birthday song to him. Most of them are his classmates from his school. I clap my hands to the beat while I join them.

Once the song ended, Sean blew the candle that was formed as number nine on the cake that he chose himself before and he clapped before closing his eyes to make a wish.

There are also the parents of the invited kids. They all brought enormous paper bags on their hands once they got here.

Sean must be screaming in joy for having such huge presents. I'm betting that most of it are toys and only one or two would gift a brief or any garments to him.

The theme of his party is Tom and Jerry and I'm glad that I got the best gift for him. On the contrary, I think that Serene bought our brother a real sewer rat that she named Jerry just to scare Sean. But I know that she's too sensitive that she won't even allow herself to get close with a rat nor hold it.

The party was held at our backyard, and once the magicians and clowns arrived, some of the kids were scared but most of them are excited.

The adults are busy chatting with one another and eating from the buffet that mom prepared. While I'm busy getting entertained with the performers in front.

It's been a long time since I've seen a magic show and watch clowns perform. Every time a thing disappears or appears I would clap my hands and I would unconsciously open my mouth in astonishment.

Once the show finishes, I joined the group of kids clapping very hard for the talents that we hired.

Later on, it's time for opening the gifts, and Sean was the most excited, obviously. The first gift that he unwrapped is a sleeveless shirt with printed Tom and Jerry characters that fits his size. He smiled at the person who gave it to him, and I can see that he only like the design of the shirt, but for him the whole thing was useless.

As time goes by and more gifts were opened, the table was filled with many toys for boys and two other kinds of stuff for him. "Now this gift is from..." The host starts. "Elise! Who's Elise?"

I sheepishly raised my hand and all of their eyes are focused on me. I already expected that this would happen but I'm still not prepared. "Oh, it's the birthday boy's big sister! We're wondering what it is." The host says and I roll my eyes when no one is looking at me anymore.

Once Sean ripped the gift wrapper off, he opened the box and grabbed the two stuffed toys inside. He hugged them like it's a treasure and the host put the microphone in front of his mouth.

"Thank you." My brother said and I nod at him with a smile.

A few seconds later the host announces that the party is about to end but then someone stopped him. "Wait! You still have to open my present!" It's Lana's voice.

I turn around to verify if it is really her. When I did, I saw the whole gang following behind her, as well as Serene whose arm is hooked over Jungkook's. They are holding a big and white attaché case.

At the very back, it's Jimin with a large paper bag on his hands. He gives me a cheeky smile and I returned it. They all went near the mini-stage where Sean and the host are standing. They lined up to give his gifts to him.

First was Lana, her gift was small and hilarious. I thought the day would end by disappointing me but it didn't. She gave him three pairs of underwear with Tom and Jerry's designs. Sean was embarrassed and I was hiding my laugh the whole time. My brother ended up thanking her.

Next was Yoongi who has a big box wrapped in blue paper on his hands. He gives it to the host and Sean was squealing once he saw what it is.

A robot dog. Wow. Years from now, that toy would only end up in a trash bin. But I bet that it's really expensive.

When it is Hoseok's turn he hands them two huge paper bags, as in very huge. Sean opened the first one and it revealed an almost human-sized Tom, and the second was obviously Jerry. All of them clap their hands at how generous Hoseok was and so did I. Hoseok initiated a hug to my brother and it melted my heart when I saw them did it.

Jin is next and he's not holding anything. He puts on a show first that he forgot his gift for Sean which almost made him cry. But when Jin clapped his hands thrice, a few men entered our backyard and they're holding another voluminous box. To have many men carrying it, it must be heavy.

Once the box was placed in front, the men themselves opened the present and took the item out. It's a metallic red Ferrari rechargeable ride on car. My brother jumped in excitement. He should feel really giddy by now.

When it's time for Namjoon, my mom walked towards me. "Who are those people with Jimin?" She asked.

"Those are my friends." I proudly stated and mom only nods in confusion. She must be wondering why these guys are giving Sean luxurious gifts. Little did my mother knows that they are a bunch of filthy rich people.

Namjoon's gift is just a small box, as soon as Sean opened it, it was a complete and original set of Tom and Jerry CD's.

Damn, our television will explode one day because of that. When Sean really wants to watch something, he'll have the whole television to him.

Taehyung was timid when he gave gears to Sean. Specifically a helmet, elbow and knee pads. But he also did Seokjin's action differently. He told the kids to clap three times and the children obliged. It looks like Taehyung is fond of children. Seconds later an unknown man entered and he's carrying a bike on his hands.

My brother is smiling from ear to ear and he must be feeling egotistical by now. All the other kids are getting envious of him and I can see it.

It was Jungkook and Serene's turn. They handed the attaché case to him and when Sean opened it, it is full of art materials and products for kids and even the set of coloring pencils that I always wanted.

Damn, I'm envy too.

This must be Serene's idea, she knows that Sean loves drawing.

Lastly, it was Jimin, he smiled at my brother since they both knew each other already. Jimin placed the paper bag in front of Sean but he was the one who took the item out.

It's an Xbox and it's the latest model. Sean's eyes widened in surprise and so did mine.

Wow, rich people and their money can make anyone feel flabbergasted.

Here I thought that I bought Sean the best gift out of all.

Jimin carefully places it together with the other gifts on the table and he stepped out from the mini stage with a playful smile.

Sean thanked everyone that came to his party and also for those people who gave him gifts, especially the ones who gave him extravagant presents.

My eyes followed Jimin's every movement and when he saw that I'm staring at him he winked at me.

That was unexpected.

His wink could make anyone's legs weak.

The crowd's attention is focused on all of them, they walked towards my direction and they eventually joined me in my place.

"That was really... generous," I say to all of them.

After the party, they still stayed at our place since they came late and mom wants them to not leave with an empty stomach.

They are already fighting about the gifts they presented to Sean. Each one of them wanted my brother to already try the gifts they gave him.

Including Lana and the undergarments, he gave Sean. That ridiculous lady.

In the end, Jungkook won because he is great at bargaining. He told Sean to draw something using the art materials he gave him and in return, he'll put Sean's drawing on his own body as a tattoo.

Sean felt overwhelmed about it so he chose Jungkook and Serene's gifts first.

They all anticipated Sean's work and when he was finished they all laughed when Sean showed us a drawing of a cute dog.

"You'll get a tattoo of that." Taehyung chuckles at a deep tone and Jungkook is trying his best to keep his smile to my brother but it seems like he is not liking the idea of having a cute tattoo.

When my mom called that the food is ready, they all dashed inside our small dining room to get their food.

Unlike earlier, mom is now delighted with their presence. She got a hard time memorizing the names of the rest of the boys, but I noticed that she knows that they were good people.

Our house got loud, but it was fun. I was asking Sean to come and eat with me but he's really picky when it comes to food. Although Jimin beat me to it, Sean agreed to eat when Jimin was the one asking him.

Jimin gives me a pompous look and I just pulled a face at him.

After eating they all stayed for half an hour just to play with the birthday boy. The idea of having older brothers made everything exciting for Sean.

They all slowly left one by one saying that they all have certain agendas to attend to. Serene is already upstairs inside her room and Jimin is the only one left in here in the living room with me and Sean.

Both of them are busy playing on the Xbox that Jimin connected on our television. I noticed that Sean is winning every time and I guess that Jimin is losing on purpose.

Once Sean was yawning I told him to go upstairs in his room to rest. It's been a very long and happy day for him.

I helped Jimin fix the stuff they used and placed it on one side. "I never knew you suck at video games." I teased as I initiated a conversation.

"That was intentional, I don't want to make your brother cry." He huffs.

"Really?" I pressed.

"Are you challenging me, Ms. Austin?" He asks, the side of his lips twitching while he hands me the other game console.

"Sure, Mr. Park." I rolled my eyes and he opened the television again. We played the same video game that he and Sean played earlier.

Every time that I would lose, he will look at me with a very cocky face and I'll scowl at him. On our very last game, I miraculously won and I was muffling my screams in excitement. I stick my tongue out of him and he laughs.

"That was intentional. I don't want to make you cry." Every bit of self-confidence left in me when it comes to video games disappeared.

I scoffed at him and we cleaned the living room afterward.

I walked with Jimin near the front door when he told me that he's going home. "Thanks for coming to Sean's party," I told him. "And for making him really happy today."

"That's no big deal." He boasts and I shake my head.

"Anyways, how did the others knew about my brother's birthday?" I ask him.

"Jungkook and I told the rest." He says and I nod at the information. "By the way, Elise." He starts.

"Hm?"

"Do you want to go out tomorrow?" He asks and I smiled.

"Are you asking me out on a date?" I teased.

"If that's what you want to call it. Besides you're single now, I think it's time for you to mingle with me." He laughs and I forged a giggle too.

He really believed that Ryan and I broke up. I don't know how to feel about it if I should be happy or not. One thing's for sure, I'm scared that sooner or later he'll find out the truth.

"Sure," I say and he ruffles my hair.

"See you tomorrow then." He beams at me and I wave goodbye to him.
