Personality: Andrew is the more level-headed of the pair of them. He's got a friendly streak, but he can be a bit harsh at times as well. Also, don't expect him to go easy on his rivals, he'll battle with everything he has, and his Pokémon are almost the same way, battling with the same ferocity as their trainer's attitude. He would do anything for his twin sister, they're super close, but don't mistake it; she's a rival to him as well. He teases her for being short./Andrea is the more free-spirited, gentle mannered type. Where her brother is mean at times, she's usually excitable and buoyant. She'll make sure to give it her all as well when she battles, but she and her Pokémon are really sweet and kind. She doesn't honestly agree with her brother's tactics but she does love him to death. She is also short, so she gets a lot of teasing from him. She's used to it, though; it's been their thing for many years. She has a shy streak at times but she gets over it quickly.

Back story: Andrew and Andrea were born in a village in Kanto, just a little ways off from Pewter City. Their father, Shade Ashford, was the Gym Leader there back when they were young. Their mother specialized in Pokémon breeding. They grew up with the best of both worlds, being trained well and taking care of their Pokémon the exact right way. When they turned 5, they ventured off the path some ways, and they both came across six eggs. They both took three each, and took care of them really well. Andrew hatched out Latias, Latios, and Entei. Andrea hatched out Celebi, Suicune, and Ho Oh. They all became really close and the legendaries chose to stay with their respective trainer, becoming part of their teams, but more importantly, becoming best friends with them in the process. Andrew also had his starter, Charmander, the fire lizard. Andrea got her starter, Squirtle, at the same time. They started their journey and met their other Pokémon along the way, Andrew had to work to gain Bulbasaur's trust but they became close as well.
