after hugging for a few moments, lucy pulled away. jade decided to hang out with her for the rest of the day.

jade told donnie, "thank you"

And he insisted that he could drive them home. jade politely told donnie, it was fine but donnie said jade's house was on his way,

it wasn't.

"thank you so much donnie". jade said.

lucy and jade hopped out of the car.

lucy waved to donnie and jade smiled.

after watching some game shows, jade's father came home. "hi papa". jade said. "we're having tacos tonight".

jade's father smiled and said "i'm craving tacos actually".

lucy giggled. jade went into the kitchen, and warmed up three tacos for each of her family members.

jade set the toppings on top of her kitchen island, and started putting cheese on the ground beef.

after her whole family sat down, her father lead the dinner prayer tonight. all of them bowed their hands with hands folded.

"thank you god for blessing this meal and having food on our dinner plates. amen ".

they raised their head and began devouring into the tacos.

once jade's taco was gone, she licked her lips. tasting sour cream mixed with meat.

she got up and began washing the dishes.

"what's for dessert jade"? her father asked, giving her his plate.

"i didn't have time today". jade said quietly.

"well what did you do today that made you so busy"? he asked, his voice getting higher in pitch.

"umm-"

"jade and i played hide and seek"! lucy yelled from the table.

her father drew breath into his lungs and left the room.

"it's about time". jade muttered. "papa changed".

jade walked upstairs and began her night time routine. she took a makeup remover wipe cleaned her face, washed her face and ended it with toner and lastly brushed her teeth.

and she went to bed.

hopefully tomorrow is a less stressful day
