jade burst out of her house.

"lucy"! jade yelled on top of her lungs.

"lucy is very little, what if she walked onto the street while their was a car coming and-" jade quietly said, but stopped.

lucy is a smart girl, she knows better.

jade ran down her street.

maybe she's at the corner store.

jade ran to the store.

no lucy.

jade slid down the wall, and cried out of frustration.

"if anything happened to her, it's my fault", jade muttered.

"do you need help with something"?

jade looked up to see a guy.

"i'm donnie". donnie said, offering a hand.

jade shakes his rough hand.

"no, i offering my hand to help you get up".

jade turned scarlet.

who actually shakes hands these days?

jade gets up, "sorry 'bout that, my name is jade".

"wait...do you know a fellow named joe"?

jade nodded. "why"?

"it's just ever since the dinner, he always talks about this jade girl".

jade beamed.

"do you want to talk about it"? donnie asked.

jade considered not telling him.

"my sister left the house...i can't find her". jade cried.

donnie nodded and rubbed her back.

"i have a car, do you want to drive around the town". donnie said.

donnie felt bad. if his brother mark left the house, he wouldn't know what to do.

donnie opened the car of his black porsche and they begin driving.

"so do you have any ideas where she could be"? donnie asked, putting sunglasses on.

jade thought for a moment and shook her head.

jade and lucy aren't that close. they may seem like it but jade would rather hang out with audrey than her full blooded sister.

"donnie...im such a terrible sister"!

donnie looked at her and bit his lip.

"if you were such a terrible sister, you wouldn't be looking for her, and shedding tears". donnie tried to convince jade.

jade sighed and agreed.

the only thing that was on her mind was lucy.

"maybe i should tell my dad soon". jade muttered, staring out the glass window.

donnie turned his right turn signal on and pulled over.

"look, jade, we'll find her".

then jade remembered a place where lucy loved.

the toy store.

jade exclaimed, "the toy shop"!

jade directed donnie where to go.

once jade noticed the shop was in walking distance, jade made donnie stop, and opened the car door and jumped out.

jade ran to the store as fast as she could.

"lucy"? jade yelled, ignoring the angry face employee.

then she saw a familiar little girl, playing trains with a little boy with brown hair.

"lucy". jade ran to her, hugged her and whispered, "please don't leave me ever again".

with saying that, lucy made sure to tell someone when she was leaving their house, so what happened that day never was repeated.
