"AUDREY MARY JANE VALENTINE" yelled a deep male voice.

jade and audery looked at each other with wide eyes.

audrey put her cards on the floor to see what her father wanted.

audrey couldn't get in trouble, ronnie broke the vase.

"yes dad-" audrey began to say in a baby voice.

"i know you broke the vase". her dad confidently said.

"sir, i didn't...ronnie fell, and he tried to get up and then he broke it"! audrey exclaimed.

her father considered it for a moment, "jade, is this true"? he questioned.

"yessir". jade said quickly. jade definitely was afraid of mr. valentine.

he sighed, "thank you for the honesty ladies, enjoy the rest of your night".

audrey and jade waited until her old man left the room to go upstairs.

"next time i do something wrong, i'm calling you do come over". audrey sarcastically said.

the two girls went upstairs to finish their game of go fish. then audrey's telephone rang.

sighing, audrey got up and ran to the phone. "hey eve".

in every high school, there's that girl. the girl who was an obnoxious snob who had pretentious friends that everyone hated but in that group they thought everyone loved them. and that was eve.

audrey, jade and eve were the best of friends in grammar school, but eve became popular(or so she thought), eve begged audrey to follow her but audrey didn't because her friendship with jade was more important.

so that's that. "umm, i don't think so eve". audrey said.

jade mouthed "what".

audrey put the phone against her chest, "she wants to come over". she said, rolling her eyes.

and jade joined her. after that they said goodbyes and she hung up the phone, cutting off the annoying voice.

"so what happened today at the beach"! audrey said, sitting across from jade.

jade tucked some hair behind her ear, revealing her three ear piercings.

"you know the group of those boys...i think i like one of them". confessed jade.

audrey squealed and jade bit her rosy lip. "hopefully they come tomorrow". audrey said with hope.

all audrey wants to do is make jade happy. exspecially after her mom died.
