It was the middle of June when I was sitting out by the pool in the shade of a tree reading, "leaves of grass". The day was warm and filled with beautiful and fresh smells of summer. I took a sip of my sparkling water and continued reading. I could hear talking from the street just above the hill where the complexes pool was. I looked to see the voice was coming from a very preety girl with purple hair. Scratch that the most beautiful person I have seen in my lifetime. I smiled and looked back at my book as she and someone else hopped the fence into the complexes pool. There was only one other person who had seemed to be asleep since I got here. She was talking and laughing with her friend as they entered with towels. I put on my sunglasses and pretened not to notice them. After an hour or so they had been in the pool and throwing one of those pool rings they found from the bottom of the pool. You know the ones that would sink to the bottom and you would have to swim to get it. The beauty that I haf now learned her name was Diamond, through it and it landed over on the concrete next to me. I stared at it like a moron in till Diamond spoke.

"Hey Blondie, can you throw it back?" She called from the pool.

"Oh,uh huh, Yeah!" I stuttered and tossed it back and with my luck, it hit her friend.

"Oh my god I am so so sorry! I should have been more careful I cant believe I did that oh my god!" I rambled. Diamond laughed and waved it off.

"It's fine don't sweat it." I shaking sat back down and pretended to read my book again. I sat there muttering 'shit' to myself until the two left and I could finally breath again. I gathered my stuff and walked out the gate door. In the parking lot was my old Lexus. I put the towel on my drivers seat and drove home my face still a strawberry red from the past experience. 'She is a stranger, get over yourself.'
