Living the San Dimas life
San Dimas, California. A town that is not too far from the Pomona fairplex and just miles away from Disneyland. It is nice and quiet and also home to Waterloo, which has the most excellent waterslides. I should thank Jack for this. What surprised me about him is he is friends with Bill S. Preston Esquire and Ted Theodore Logan, the masters of air guitar and not to mention that they're time travelers too. I had to fangirl and scream when I met them. I mean, what do you expect? They're my heroes. And they're over the top sexy too. Since the first time Jack brought me to San Dimas and introduced me to them, I swear it was like it rained men from the heavens. I knew they were taken, which bummed me out but they have the right to kiss me on the cheek. I did blush and that made Jack jealous. I didn't want him to be left out of the love so I shared him a kiss on the cheek as a thanks. It's 8:28 in the morning and I was asleep with Jack in his house. Yes, he does live in 1989. Anyways, the sun was shining through the window. The warm bright glow brighten up the entire room, which made me open my eyes slowly. I had to squint because it was too damn bright. I felt like a vampire who hates the sun but hey, its morning. I just realize it's Sunday so thank god there's no school today. I had to attend San Dimas High School or else I feel like I'm left out. Luckily enough, Bill Ted, and Jack are also taking San Dimas High. I should probably tell Bill and Ted to stop trying to hit on me. I mean, aren't they taken to Joanna and Elizabeth? I know they'll find out sooner or later. I noticed Jack was already up as he came into the room with a tray of breakfast and dude, he was shirtless. He has muscles. Not big muscles like every dream girl wants but I mean, surfer muscles. Not buff but normal. He even has a six pack. They're not visible but I can see them and he is really pale. I'm not talking about vampire pale but pale. I sat up as he sat next to me and said, "morning", and gave me a kiss on the cheek. I smiled and replied, "morning". He offered me the tray that is filled with a cup of orange juice, a plate of cinnamon French toast with whip cream on top, and a bowl of apple cinnamon oatmeal. I was surpised he actually made me breakfast. I should return him a favor. I wonder what does he like? I took a bit of the French toast as whip cream got the tip of my nose, which made Jack laugh. "What?" I asked. He used his thumb and wipes the cream off of my nose and shows it to me. I laughedand grab a napkin to wipe off my nose. "So, I was thinking maybe the four of us can go see a movie later today. Theaters don't open until 9 am," Jack spoke as I took a sip of the orange juice. I put the cup on the tray and shrug. "Sure. I'm up for a movie. Just the four of us," I said as I placed the tray on the side of the table. I got out of bed and grab a towel that was hanging on a hook. "I'll go hit the showers and you can call Bill and Ted." Jack nod his head and leaves the room while I head inside the restroom for a quick shower. I felt calm and relaxed once I turned on the water until I heard a loud electric guitar strum, which made me jump and almost slipped from the bathtub. 5 minutes later of cleaning my body, I turned off the water and covered my nude bod with the towel. I walked out of the restroom, still hearing the guitar playing from somewhere outside. There goes my Saturday relaxation. I turned on the radio as 'Summer of 69' started to play. I totally forgot I was in the 80s as I jammed out with the song and started to change. I grabbed a red and black stripe shirt, torn blue jeans, long white socks, a bra, a pair of blue boxers (yes there are boxers for women), and my Black Sabbath converse. As I finished changing, I started to dry my hair with the towel and went downstairs to the living room, noticing Jack was nowhere in sight. "I guess he went to visit Bill and Ted," I said to myself and head back upstairs. I grabbed my dirty clothes and placed them in the laundry casket. I brushed my mid-long brown hair and fluff up my bangs, covering most of my right eye. I looked at myself in the mirror and I noticed I look almost emo, but I shrug it off and left the bathroom. I turned off the radio, head downstairs, and head towards the door. I head outside, close the door and start jogging towards Ted's place, which was 8 blocks away. As I continued to jog, I felt something was a bit off. I thought it was me, but it wasn't. What was it? Was it that I'm here in the 80s? Do I really belong here? Is it Jack? Or is it home? Do I miss home? Do I miss Los Angeles? Do I miss 2016? I still have my technology that does not exist here in the 80s at Jack's home. I only have my phone with me. Shoot! I forgot my headphones. Oh well. I should probably head over there now. After jogging for 10 minutes, I manage to reach Ted's place and I saw the three trio chilling in the garage. Bill waved at me and said, "Marilyn. You came." I caught my breath and said, "well, I noticed Jack must've come here so I decided might as well join you dudes." I took a seat on the amplifier as Ted offered me a bottle of Pepsi cola. I took the drink as Ted said, "most excellent style Marilyn. You totally blend into the rocking era." I smiled and took a sip. I look at Jack behind the drum set and asked, "do you play?" Jack looked at me and said, "just a little." "Let's hear it," said Bill as we cheered for Jack. Jack smiled and grabs the drumsticks. He taps the drumsticks 4 times and immediately starts playing. We were shock at Jack's performance. He plays the rhythm from the drums very well. Immediately, Bill and Ted placed their drinks on the side, grab their guitars and starts jamming with Jack. I decided to pull out my phone and record them without anyone noticing. Even though Bill and Ted cannot play a right note on the guitar, I know they really do get better but what can I say? They're just living the life of San Dimas. Home is home to the Wyld Stallyns.
