Flash into the past part 1 Adrienette/Ladynoir (or is the whole love square?)
Marinette's POV:
Marinette looked at the door with uncertainty. She was about to open the door that leads to the Agreste mansion. It was the first time she had stepped foot inside the place in years. She had not been here since Adrien's father was arrested and Adrien had left to live with relatives out of town. It was far too painful for her to handle it, yet here she found herself.
She was not sure what she searched for, to be honest. She had hoped to discover the truth. The truth about what happened that day so many years ago. She still found herself with more questions than she did answers.
Marinette used the key she was handed by the new owners of the abandoned house, and unlocked the front door. She climbed inside, and turned on the lights. She went from room to room searching for something.
Adrien's POV:
Adrien wondered as he saw the lights on inside the huge place who could be there. It was not like anyone ever kept the place together. Not since his father's betrayal, Natalie skipped town, and he moved away with his aunt and his cousin, Felix. It was not possible that the past was about to catch up with him, was it?
He shuddered as he exited his new car. He was not sure what he would find inside the place he used to call home. He thought it to be rather ironic the same place which was once his prison became the place he longed to return too after all this time.
Adrien missed his friends, but especially, her. He missed her most of all. By her he meant Ladybug. He never did find out who she was despite the defeat of Hawkmoth. He thought it best since he had to leave. He was convinced knowing her identity would only make him want to stay more.
He recalled how he was allowed to keep Plagg which was the one thing that helped him maintain his sanity all this time. If it had not been for the kwami he believes he would have lost it the day he cut off all ties to his past.
Plagg's POV:
Inside the pocket of his holder, he kept silent. The last thing he wanted to do is ruin the reveal for Adrien. It had to be done his way and his time. He knew this as much as wanted to shout the truth from the rooftops. So he stayed quiet, and ate Camembert along with a few chunks of swiss.
Plagg heard Adrien's footsteps approach the gate, then paid attention as Adrien walked through them. He thought so far nothing exciting has happened. Then, again perhaps this is a good thing. To much excitement could be bad for someone who is over 5,000 years old.
He listened as Adrien stepped closer to the door and took a look at it. He smiled and thought come on man enter. He figured the young man might as well. If not, then why was he here?
Tikki's POV:
Tikki sensed Plagg was nearby though he had not said a single word. Where on earth had he been all this time? She missed him, but she also missed the times when Marientte was close to discovering the identity of her partner Chat Noir. Sure that was when the lady was Ladybug, but so what.
She heard Marinette open a dresser drawer. She begin to wonder if Marinette would ever find what she sought. Even if the girl did what would she do with the information? It is not like she could turn back the clock.
Adrien's POV:
Adrien followed the lights into the front foyer area. He knew this meant someone must have turned them on before he got here. Who? Who could have done such a thing and why?
Could it be he or she was after the same thing he was a passage way back in time to the past?
