    Rena Rogue stood on Love Lock Bridge. She wondered, What kept Nino Lahiffe? She had something important that she needed to discuss with him.

    Little did she know Nino had stopped and purchased flowers. He knew it had been ages since he had last done so. Besides, today was special. He was sure of it.  He could not wait to see her.

     Nino hopped on his motorcycle and headed towards the place. He noticed the flowers spread throughout the City of Lights and the posts that read of discounts on foods. He arrived fifty minutes late after he barely made it through the hectic traffic.  It was all in a day's good work.

     Rena Rogue looked up as he approached her. She scowled. She pointed to her watch in dismay as if it had just dawned on her how his tardiness troubled her.  She sure hoped he had a good explanation for all this.

 "Well, where were you? I thought we agreed upon 7:15 pm, but as you can see, it is long past it."  

     "Sorry, Rena, traffic was a mess, and I got you something."

    Nino got off his Harley Davidson and handed her the banquet.   "I believe these are for you, Foxie Lady."

      Rena Rogue rolled her eyes at his antics but took the roses from his arms. She tried not to smile. She found herself tipping the corners of her mouth up at his thoughtfulness. Soon, she forgot all about the lateness of the hour all over again.

    "Well, do not just stand there.  Come here, you!"

     Rena pulled him into a hug carefully so as not to swish the lovely display of flowers. 

      "Does this mean you like them?"  Nino scratched the back of his neck at his spoke.

        "Like them? I more than like them; I love them. Thank you, Nino Lahiffe."
