In this story, it is New Year's Day at last! Marinette hopes that it will be one like none other! Will the new year bring in anything nice for her, or will remain the same as always?

       "Happy New Year, Max!" Sabrina says.

    "Happy New  Year, Sabrina!"  Max says.

    "Wow, it is already 2019 !" Alya says.

   "Yes, it sure is Alya!" Nino remarks.

  "Where is Marinette?" Adrien asks.

"Adrien, why are you so interested in her whereabouts?" Luka asks.

"Yes, I thought you did not like her in that way," Kagami says.

"Do not worry, I will help set you up with her," Chloe says.

"Adrien, do not worry so much I am sure she likes you too," Alix remarks.

    Meanwhile, Marinette is at home where she talks to a friend of hers.  "Tikki, do you think this year has anything amazing in store for us?" Marinette asks.

"I am sure it will Marinette," Tikki says.

"Ok, then let's go!" Marinette replies.

   Marinette runs to the park where the others wait for her. 

 "Hi, everyone!  Hi, A-Adrien!" Marinette says.

"Hi, M-Marinette!" Adrien remarks.

"Dude, that is not close enough to her!" Luka says as he shoves Adrien closer to Marinette.

"Marinette, h-how have you b-been?" Adrien asks.

"I  am great thanks, for asking, A-Adrien!" Marinette says.

"Glad to hear it," Adrien responds.

"They could use some help," Nino says. He begins to play some romantic music.

"Come on man, just tell her already!" Nino says.

"Yes, what are you waiting for anyway?"  Alya asks.

"Just tell her how you feel!"  Sabrina suggests.

"Yes, go on now. You can do it!" Chloe remarks.
